Pokémon: My Farm Adventures

Under the moonlight, by the stream next to the bamboo grove.

"Sewaddle~~"

A Sewaddle bent a bamboo stalk to create a slide.

It lay beneath the leaves, sliding down the curved bamboo directly into the stream.

"Sewaddle~"

It was having a great time.

The already full Buneary joined in on the game.

One after another, they rushed into the stream.

By the campfire.

Aiko devoured a bowl of rice, then leaned back and said, "I finally feel alive again."

Haruka patted her, "Hey, hey, what about your image?"

Aiko stood up, letting her hair down, and said, "Do you think I still have it?"

"Sandslash~"

Sandslash seemed to like Aiko and served her another bowl of rice.

Aiko reached out to take it and said, "I can't take any more, I'm already full."

Natsume smiled at the two and said, "It seems like you've gained Sandslash's approval."

Aiko looked touched and asked Sandslash, "Do you approve of me?"

"Sandslash~"

Sandslash raised its arms.

Glub, glub~

Feebas floated up from the water, looking at Natsume.

Seeing this, Natsume took out a Plump Bean and tossed it above the stream.

Feebas immediately leaped up, opened its mouth, and swallowed the Plump Bean.

"Nice catch."

Natsume praised, "Let's do it again~"

"Awooo~"

Arcanine wanted to play too.

"No problem."

Natsume said, "This time I'll throw it farther away."

"Houndoom!"

Houndoom immediately stood up.

Natsume threw the Plump Bean with force toward the distance.

Houndoom and Arcanine dashed out simultaneously.

"Mr. Natsume."

Aiko watched this scene and suddenly said enviously, "It must be really nice to pursue the life you want…"

Natsume looked at Aiko: "Isn't this life what you want?"

Aiko made a face: "My family hopes that I can become a professional breeder in the future."

As Aiko spoke, she ran her fingers through her hair.

"Of course, it's not that being a professional breeder is bad, but…"

Natsume looked at Aiko and asked, "You just have something else you want to do more?"

"Yes!"

Aiko nodded and said, "To be honest, I want to become a coordinating Trainer!"

"A coordinating Trainer? That's impressive."

Natsume praised, "Have you participated in any matches?"

Aiko shook her head: "Not really."

Haruka spoke up, "Even though she hasn't participated in any matches, her performances with Bulbasaur are really great."

Aiko blushed and said, "It's not that exaggerated."

Natsume was somewhat curious: "Can I see?"

"Of course~"

Aiko stood up and said, "But if the performance isn't good, don't laugh, okay?"

"I won't."

Buneary and the others turned their attention to Aiko as she seemed ready to perform.

"Bulbasaur~"

Aiko's Bulbasaur stood beside her.

Aiko took a deep breath and looked at Natsume and the Pokémon, saying, "Everyone, the next performance is called 'Heartbeat.'"

"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!"

"Bulbasaur~"

Vine Whip extended on both sides of Bulbasaur's body.

The two Vine Whips formed a heart-shaped arch in front of Aiko.

"Next is Magical Leaf!"

"Bulbasaur~!"

Green energy formed leaves that covered the heart-shaped arch.

Then, something magical happened.

These Magical Leaves began to pulse and vibrate like a heartbeat within the heart-shaped arch.

Natsume exclaimed, "This is truly amazing energy control."

If Pokémon Trainers' battles are an exhibition of violent aesthetics, then each coordinating training class's performance is an art exhibition!

The Magical Leaves suddenly burst apart, transforming into green starlight.

The starlight twinkled.

Standing within the heart-shaped arch, Aiko stretched her body.

She looked like a figure turning inside a music box.

Her toes touched the ground, and with a radiant smile on her face, she slowly spun around in place.

The light around her body gradually dissipated.

Aiko wrapped up her performance, bowing as if she were facing countless spectators.

Natsume gently clapped his hands: "Perfect."

"The perfect coordination between a person and their Pokémon."

Haruka chimed in, "I also give it a perfect score!"

A perfect score is the highest compliment for a coordinating Trainer.

This is because during matches, judges score the performances.

The scoring ranges from one to ten.

Aiko said happily, "So that means I've advanced, right?"

"Of course."

Natsume looked at Aiko and said, "But you probably haven't performed for your family, have you?"

Aiko nodded, "No, I haven't."

"Because performing in front of my family feels strange, and they don't approve of me becoming a coordinating Trainer."

Natsume replied, "Actually, many Trainers come from a background of professional breeding."

"Like many gym leaders, they are also very skilled at raising their own Pokémon."

"Because they excel at breeding Pokémon, they understand Pokémon's abilities and strengths better."

Aiko picked up Bulbasaur and said, "I've decided, Bulbasaur!"
