Pokémon: My Farm Adventures

"Baa~"

The village chief's Skiddo ran over to Natsume's side.

"Hello there, Skiddo."

The old village chief, following beside Skiddo, looked at Natsume and said, "I thought you would be gone for a long time."

"Why are you back so soon?"

Natsume replied, "Some things happened, so I came back early."

"And these two?"

Natsume looked at Aiko and Haruka, who had followed him over.

"Houndoom~"

Houndoom and the Houndour all looked at them in unison.

The pressure from Houndoom and the Houndour was quite strong.

Their synchronized movements and fierce appearances gave off an impression of a criminal organization.

Aiko and Haruka both took a couple of steps back, feeling a bit scared.

Natsume said, "Houndoom, stop staring at them."

Houndoom acknowledged and then returned its gaze to the battle arena.

The old village chief explained, "They said they wanted to come and visit you."

"So I helped them with directions."

Aiko quickly spoke up, "We learned about this place online."

"Someone said the farm owner here is very strong and has a Pokémon like Dragonair, so we wanted to come and take a look."

Natsume nodded slightly, "I understand."

"However, my farm isn't developed yet, so there's really not much to see."

"That's okay."

Aiko said, "We can also experience working in the fields."

Haruka added, "We won't be doing it for free; we will pay."

Aiko nodded, "Yeah, yeah."

"What?"

The old village chief showed an astonished expression after hearing the two.

He looked at them in disbelief and said, "You two young ladies came all this way just to work?"

"And you'll pay?"

Aiko and Haruka exchanged looks, feeling a bit uncertain.

Aiko cautiously asked, "Isn't that okay?"

Haruka followed up, "Aren't farm stays usually like this?"

Natsume was amused and said, "You don't need to pay."

"If you're truly interested, I can have Sandslash take you to clear some wasteland in the fields later."

"Sandslash~"

Sandslash glanced at the two and nodded, indicating that it was fine.

Seeing that Natsume agreed, Aiko and Haruka immediately cheered, "Thank you!"

Natsume replied, "No need to thank me."

The old village chief, listening nearby, was bewildered.

He simply couldn't understand why these two girls wanted to pay to work.

Moreover, they seemed genuinely happy about it and were even thanking Natsume?

Indeed, he felt out of touch with the times.

The old village chief felt a bit melancholy.

In the battle arena.

"Farfetch'd!"

Farfetch'd was panting as it looked at Leavanny.

Farfetch'd staggered back. Just as it was about to continue the attack, Natsume said, "That's enough, Farfetch'd."

Natsume walked over to Farfetch'd.

"Farfetch'd."

Farfetch'd looked somewhat unwilling.

Natsume crouched down in front of Farfetch'd and said, "Farfetch'd, have you noticed the issues in your battle?"

"Farfetch'd?"

Farfetch'd looked at Natsume with confusion.

"It's about stamina management."

Natsume stated directly, "Haven't you noticed?"

"Look at Leavanny."

"It hasn't even broken a sweat."

Farfetch'd looked at Leavanny.

"Leavanny~"

Natsume continued, "Your stamina is depleting so quickly because you're constantly on the aggressive."

"If you can finish an opponent off with a few quick moves, then that's fine."

"But if you can't, you'll find yourself out of steam."

"At that point, even if Leavanny doesn't attack you, you could wear yourself out."

After hearing Natsume's words, Farfetch'd lowered its head in reflection.

"Farfetch'd."

Farfetch'd asked how it should improve its problem.

Natsume said, "Simple."

"You need to learn how to control your strength."

"When practicing your moves, try using only half your energy, while increasing your speed."

"Farfetch'd!"

Farfetch'd nodded in understanding.

"Don't forget to wear this."

Natsume handed the Macho Brace back to Farfetch'd.

After putting on the training device, Farfetch'd immediately began self-training.

"This guy."

Natsume shook his head with a smile and then said to Houndoom and the others, "Alright, everyone, go have fun."

"I'm going to find a place to settle Leavanny and the others."

Sandslash moved over to Aiko and Haruka.

"Sandslash."

Sandslash signaled for them to follow.

"Okay~"

Aiko and Haruka seemed to be in a good mood.

They happily followed Sandslash into the land area.

The old village chief looked at them with a peculiar expression, shook his head, and then said to Natsume, "I'll head back now."

"These two young ladies seem a bit unusual—don't go giving them a hard time."

Natsume, looking at the two enthusiastic girls, could understand their excitement.
