Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

After a few days, the Cruz family and their Pokémon pack up and went back home in Kawayan City. But all this time, Rico was thinking about going on a journey like Ash, and was planning to go on one once he had finished school.

(Two months later)

Rico had finished school and decided to go on a journey across his home region. That night, he announced that plan to his parents. His parents are surprised to hear that.

"Are you sure about that, Rico?" Lucas asked a question.

"It would be very tough, son," Rosario added in concern and worry.

"I want to follow Ash's path," Rico positively and confidently replied, "so I'm planning to go on a journey, acquire gym badges, and try to take on the Philas League."

His parents then understood their son's plans, and they eventually agreed.

"Okay, if it's your decision," Lucas said to him.

"So, are you leaving by tomorrow?" Rosario asked him.

"Yes, I'll pack up tonight," Rico responded back, "and plus, I won't disappear like big brother did in the past."

Later after dinner and brushing his teeth, Rico packed up his backpack as his team look at him.

"You know, guys," Rico said to them, "we're going on a journey tomorrow."

Riolu then responded in asking.

"How long, Riolu?" Rico answered back. "Well, it'll take a long time, you know, and we're gonna be far away from home as well."

Riolu then responded in getting what its Trainer just said.

Absol then nodded in agreement.
