"Alright, please head back for now. If I need further assistance, I'll call you in to cooperate with the investigation," Officer Jenny said calmly.

"Understood," replied Tyson, his tone firm yet professional.

With the testimony of the shop clerk, the incriminating evidence carried by the assassins, and Tyson's exceptional handling of the situation, he was cleared of suspicion effortlessly.

After parting ways with the police, Tyson returned to the Pokémon Center. He wasted no time updating Agatha on the events. As expected, she helped mitigate any potential fallout, ensuring Tyson could proceed with the plan without delays.

Later that evening, staff delivered the meal he had ordered. As the tray was set down and the server left, Tyson regarded the food with suspicion, his appetite fading.

Though this was his first time encountering assassins in the Pokémon world, he couldn't help but respect their cunning. While his decisive actions had neutralized their efforts, Tyson knew he had been fortunate to anticipate their tactics.

A more naive trainer might have fallen for the sweet demeanor of the young girl assassin. Tyson, however, was unimpressed by such juvenile ploys. His vigilance had been honed, enabling him to act swiftly through telepathy and direct Primeape to strike at the crucial moment.

Despite the precautions he'd taken—such as enlisting Ditto for constant protection—the realization struck him: if he had hesitated even slightly, things might have gone differently.

Now, even a simple meal could be a fatal trap. He scrutinized the food closely but chose not to take the risk.

"Kadabra, is he alone now?" Tyson asked, addressing his ever-watchful Kadabra.

"Yes," Kadabra replied telepathically.

"Prepare for battle!"

At Tyson's command, Charizard, Primeape, and the others were released from their PokĂ© Balls. A moment later, Kadabra's Teleport whisked them all away from the room.

Reappearing in the hallway, Kadabra's psychic abilities immediately immobilized their target. Tyson wasted no time and searched the assassin's mouth, extracting a poison capsule hidden in their teeth. A quick inspection of their belongings confirmed his suspicions.

Agatha's voice crackled through his communicator. "Dispose of them. They've been brainwashed to the point of no return. Even with a skilled Psychic Pokémon, interrogating them is futile."

Tyson sighed. "I suppose you're right. There's no sense in wasting time. Let's end this."

Kadabra nodded and swiftly incapacitated the target before Tyson notified Officer Jenny to collect the body.

Despite enduring multiple assassination attempts, Tyson maintained his composure, sleeping soundly that night. Kadabra acted as a silent sentry while Tyson's internal detection system remained on high alert. If anyone—or anything—approached, they would know instantly.

Meanwhile, a shadowy figure monitored the situation from afar. "It seems the others have failed. Looks like I'll have to handle this personally," Huiyoshi murmured, preparing to act.

The next day, Tyson lingered in Lavender Town, waiting for signs of another attack. However, the silence only confirmed his suspicions: the Mizutani family was growing desperate.

After leaving town, his detection system flagged a nearby presence—an Proficient-level Pokémon. It could have been a coincidence, but the timing was too perfect. Tyson led his team into the forest, keeping the tracker's position locked.

The opponent, clearly observing from above, was joined by two additional Pokémon. As Tyson descended into the wooded area, the adversary revealed their hand: a combination of Dodrio, Fearow, and Electabuzz, all at high levels.

Pressing a hidden alarm device Agatha had given him, Tyson signaled for reinforcements before sprinting deeper into the forest.

"Impressive reflexes, but it won't save you," Huiyoshi sneered from atop his Fearow, sending Electabuzz to attack.

Tyson stopped abruptly, a smile creeping onto his face. As the Electabuzz charged with Thunderbolt, a shadow darted from the trees.

A Dark Pulse obliterated the incoming attack, sending Electabuzz flying.

From the shadows emerged Agatha's Gengar, its grin wide and menacing. Another Gengar materialized behind Huiyoshi, unleashing two successive Dark Pulses that dispatched both Fearow and Dodrio. The battle was over before it began.

Agatha stepped forward, her expression cold. "End it."

The Gengar clutching Huiyoshi's throat tightened its grip, snuffing out his resistance.

"You've done well, Tyson," Agatha said as she collected Huiyoshi's belongings and inspected the defeated Pokémon. "Leave the rest to me. I'll make sure the Mizutani family pays for this."

"Understood," Tyson replied, watching as Agatha disappeared into the shadows with her Gengar.

Left with Huiyoshi's body and the spoils of battle, Tyson wasted no time collecting valuables from the scene.
