Pokemon - A real story

Just when the king was thinking about how to make all of this happen, he got a message from one of his people.

"Your majesty, we have received a letter from Fairy Tail."

"Oh, then send them to me. I want to see what they want.", said the king.

The king was very interested in Axel's mercenary team. He had heard that they had been training in some island and getting ready for their first tide battle. Now, he doesn't know how good they had gotten but at least he was taking the tide battle seriously.

The letter was long and it was attached to the project report with estimation cost of opening the school and resources that would be needed.

"Father, what is this all about?", asked Kymar.

But internally, he was cursing Axel for not saying it to him in advance. He was supposed to be Axel's spokesperson. Yet, Kymar also knew that he could not force such things. Axel had the backing of the Pokemon master. He needed to make good connections with Axel.

As per Oak's words, Kymar also needed to strengthen himself and also train his Pokemons. If he could not do it, then he would never be able to become the future king. As a prince, Kymar didn't lack any resources but training a Pokemon and one's body was an art and skill that he had yet to master.

He grinded his teeth and waited for an answer.

"Axel wanted to open a school for trainers purely for the future tide battles. He says that with the help of his team, he could train these new trainers to be outstanding soldiers."

"So, what do you think about it?"

"I think that this is a good idea but the idea is too vague. We have already invested too much in Axel. Even though he is the first knight, he has yet to prove himself. If we were to support this, then it would require a massive amount of resources and money. This is not something that I can decide immediately."

"Then why don't we observe his result in the coming tide battle and decide?", said Kymar.

"That might be the best outcome. Okay, I will write it back telling him about it.", said the king.

After getting the blessing from Xerneas, Togetic was confused about a lot of things. Xerneas had asked about its direction and it wanted to manipulate nature. So, Togetic's dreams revolved around manipulating nature.

The dreams didn't end when Togetic got this blessing. Most nights Togetic would dream about the battle of ancient times where Pokemons capable of manipulating nature could do a variety of things.

These dreams didn't come always and Togetic could not even remember it all the time. But after receiving these dreams for about a month, Togetic could finally decide what it should train now.

It had been training in fairy-type moves and also in some psychic moves till now. But after getting the dream blessing from Xerneas, Togetic decided to change its way of training.

It would concentrate on its connection with nature itself. '100 Healing Seals' was just one of the moves of nature manipulation. There were also other ways in which it could use the power of nature.

Nature doesn't only mean the manipulation of forests and grass. Nature encompasses everything. From tsunami, earthquake, healing, overpowering oneself and also taming the beast and other Pokemons. It could also be used to manipulate other elements like fire, water, psychic and other things.

But Togetic cannot do it all. So, it had to choose one way on how to manipulate nature. It first thought to upgrade '100 Healing seals' to the next stage. '100 Healing seals' stored fairy-type energy so that it could use it any time at the time of need. Yet, this was the basics of this passive move. It could do a lot of things with this passive move.

As the name implied, Togetic could stack a portion of fairy-type energy in that seal and create another seal to store another portion of fairy-type energy and another and another till 100 times.

If Togetic would be able to do this, it would never run out of energy. Yet, this was the basic way how to upgrade this move. The limit was 100 seals but the seals didn't only need to store fairy-type energy. It could seal and store a lot of things and this was only limited to Togetic's imagination.

As per Togetic's estimation, it could only utilize 1 seal right now and it had been using this seal to store fairy-type energy. The seal could seal a huge amount of fair-type energy. This amount could be equal to what an elemental-rank Pokemon could hold. Togetic believed that it would take another month for it to completely fill up the seal with fairy-type energy.

Togetic itself was just an elemental rank Pokemon. If it unleashed all the power inside the seal, then its body would be overloaded with a lot of energy and it would die. That was why it could not use this power right now.

That was when it came with the idea for the next seal. It was to create a perfect vessel to hold that power so that it could use those fairy-type energy inside the seal whenever it wanted.

This would be its second seal and it still had 98 more to go.

But it soon realized that its mastery over fairy-type core was not so high and it needed to reach pseudo-king rank Pokemon to even try it.

That was why it was now trying to reach the next rank as soon as possible. It had completed almost all of the conditions for the rank up and it just needed to upgrade one of its moves 'Nasty Plot' to level 40.

Axel had specifically told it to concentrate on this move. Normally, when the move was properly mastered, 'Nasty Plot' would increase the special attack of the user. This was needed for Togetic cause it was a special attacker.

It had already upgraded 'Solar beam' and 'Moon blast' to a higher level and also learned a new move called 'Fairy clone'.

Fairy Clone: Create a completely new clone from the excess energy. The stats of the clone cannot be higher than the original. The original could command the clone to do anything that the original could do.

This new move was quite interesting and had a lot of potential. But as of right now, the move was not battle-ready.

The stats of the clone could not be higher than the original. Togetic didn't have any problem with that. With the excess energy gained from 'Stored power', Togetic could create this 'Fairy clone'. But there were a lot of restrictions.

First, the time to create the clone was high. It could not be created in just a second. 'Stored power' could still not hold so much energy that it could create the clone replicating the stats of the original. So, it would take at least 10 minutes to create this clone and Togetic could not do anything at that time.

Secondly, Togetic did not instruct the clone on what to do. Without proper instructions, the clone was just like an empty vessel. And the instructions could not be vague. It had to be specific to the point.

But Togetic and Axel believed that this move had a lot of potential and it could very well be the better version of the upgraded substitute that Shedinja uses.

As of right now, Togetic was concentrating on upgrading 'Nasty plot'. It was a status move that improved its special attack stat. Status moves were very hard to improve cause these moves were very vague.

Day after day, it was only focusing on 2 things. Storing more energy inside the seal and improving 'Nasty plot'. Togetic was now the leader of the young Pokemons in Axel's team. It had got this position after a lot of hard work and it didn't want to lose it.

So, after working for a few days, Togetic was finally able to upgrade the move to level 40.

Togetic has fulfilled all the conditions of rank up.

Axel was near Togetic but he didn't use any type enhancing items to improve its stats. This was only due to a simple reason and that was 'Fairy Dew'. Only 50% of it had been totally consumed and digested and Togetic already had a lot of energy inside its body.

So, there was no need to use it.

The process of rank up took around 5 minutes. All the commanders were near and they got the chance to see the rank-up process. They were quite jealous of the rapid progress of Axel's Pokemons.

First Staraptor, then Magneton, then Blastoise, and now Togetic? How fast could his Pokemon grow from now?

When the glow finally disappeared, Axel could see Togetic. There were no huge changes in its appearance but now it looked more mature than before. Axel came near it and congratulated it for the rank up.

"You have finally done it, Togetic. Now you can focus on '100 Healing Seals' but before that, we need to have a party to celebrate your rank up."

Throwing a party after an evolution or rank-up was sort of a tradition for Axel and his team. This was just done to have some peace and rest.

Axel had a lot of plans for Togetic now. It would take some time to reach king rank but that was not what he had in mind right now.

It was finally time to fully evolve Togetic to Togekiss.

Unlike other abnormal evolutions, the evolution of Togetic to Togekiss was already discovered and the process was also not so hard.

The trainer would just have to get a good shiny stone and use it to evolve Togetic to Togekiss. But it was also not so easy.

The reason it was not so easy was due to the rarity of shiny stone. Normal evolution stones like fire stone and thunder stone were in abundance. Their quality varied but it was not so hard to get a high-quality stone with enough money and connections.

But the shiny stone was different. It was extremely rare to find out and almost impossible to find a high-quality shiny stone.

Normally, high-quality evolution stone was not recommended to use because it had a lot of energy, and common rank Pokemons could not handle that amount of energy.

But Togetic was different. It was already a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. It could handle a lot of energy and as per Axel's estimation, high-quality shiny stone might not even be enough for it.

So, when Togetic ranked up to elemental rank, Axel had already started to look for shiny stones and he had an idea where to get them.
