Chapter 1358 Urakyoto part 2

Chapter 1358 Urakyoto part 2

"We can't really say for certain unless we see it ourselves..." Tenjirou gave his opinion before turning to Retsu, "She should be able to figure it out."

Retsu covered her mouth with her right hand before chuckling, "You're giving me too much credit, Kirinji-san."

"I'm not." Tenjirou immediately disagreed, "While your internal diagnosis needs some more work, your external diagnosis is impeccable even using my own standards."

"Internal? External? What are those?" Serafall asked for clarification.

"Oversimplifying it, internal diagnosis is figuring out what's wrong with the soul anatomy itself. Meanwhile, external means figuring out what is influencing the soul from the outside." Tenjirou answered, "It looks like you'll need the latter more so she should be enough for the job. However, figuring it out and addressing the problem are still two different things."

Serafall furrowed her brows, "You sounded so sure earlier."

Tenjirou just shrugged his shoulders, "I just remembered that this is a different world with a different set of logic. What's common sense for us might not be so common here. It'd be best if Urahara were to tackle this because this is his expertise but that's asking too much right now, isn't it? You'd have to assist Retsu to find the right approach to it."

From the way Tenjirou is talking, Ouetsu, Senjumaru, and Kirio suspected that Tenjirou had no intentions of coming with them to attack Kyoto. And after thinking about it for a bit, Ouetsu concluded that this is for the best.

Naturally, Serafall and Medusa also noticed but before they could ask, Ouetsu chimed in, "We can't just attack one side to cause maximum disruption, can we?"

"...I figured that it'll be too much for us to launch an assault on multiple fronts..." Serafall then asked, "Do you perhaps want to?"

"Tenjirou and I are enough for another front." Ouetsu smiled confidently, "Be aware that we don't have to worry about the stability of the world and we can release as much power as we possibly can. Of course, we won't go that far unless absolutely necessary."

Serafall became silent while rubbing her chin and turning her head side to side to think about their proposal, "Hmmm... I see... I see... I guess that could work out. I'll ask Sona to send you coordinates where you could go bother Shiva."

Medusa gave each member of the Zero Division a phone for them to receive correspondence. And while doing so, Serafall asked again, "Is there anything else before we finalize the plan?"

Serafall thought that there would be none and was just asking just to be sure. Unexpectedly, someone raised their hand, "Lisa-chan? Go on."

While pointing to the man beside her, Lisa asked, "Can we also leave this guy behind?"

Serafall and the other girls were confused, 'Do they not get along?' That is what they wanted to ask and turned to the man she was referring to, Shinji.

At the same time, the group of Shinigami made these 'I understand' faces when they heard Lisa.

"Ahhh." Serafall and the other girls except for Medusa finally remembered what his abilities are.

"That's a good idea." Soifon put in, "Better yet, just toss him in the middle of the enemy formation, away from any allies."

Without being able to give his opinion, it was unceremoniously decided that Shinji would be tossed into enemy formation sometime in the future.

Yasaka was sitting within a relatively small room on the top of an old Japanese castle with tea in hand, overlooking the entire Urakyoto, an alternate dimension that mirrored Kyoto and where all the Youkai of the West Youkai Faction lived.

She was not alone in the room as a white cat with black spots all over her body and seven tails was also looking down from the railings of Yasaka's room. But instead of overlooking the Urakyoto, her eyes are stuck on the strangers roaming around and guarding the castle, "To be fair, they all look like humans."

"They are the normal-looking ones and not all of them are Etouldes apparently, but it's really hard to distinguish them apart." Yasaka replied to her after taking a sip from her tea and sighing, "Please tell me what you're here for, Magari. If it's not anything important then please leave. It's too dangerous around me."

But instead of answering Yasaka's inquiry, the cat turned towards her and asked, "Where are your close aides?"

Yasaka smiled wryly and said, "Basically imprisoned on the lower floors."

"And your daughter?"

"Thankfully, she was able to leave prior to all of this. I doubt they'll leave her alone but she's in good hands."

The cat then jumped down from the rail guard and sat beside her, "Boss told me to check on you since he thought that you'd be staying out of this. Before I came to you, I did my preliminary investigation but still couldn't figure out what was going on."

Yasaka was silent for a moment before answering, "They somehow were able to control me through the leylines. It might be a Soul Gear ability or someone from our extraterrestrial friends having this ability. All I could say is that I can't go against it."

It was Magari's turn to become silent. Unlike the Kyoto Youkai Faction that Yasaka led, the Kanto Youkai Faction willingly went under Indra's command so when their leader, Nurarihyon saw Yasaka behind Indra, he became immediately concerned and sent Magari, a nekomata, to her side to confirm the facts, 'This is bad... Being under Indra is riskier than we thought. Normally, if the news of Yasaka being forced to join him goes out, Indra's foundation will become shaky from mistrust. But after Urahara Kisuke's push, we ended up making a vow, trapping us with him. I should inform the Boss to be careful of Indra and any commands he gives down. If he can do something like this, then it's not beneath him to see some of us as sacrificial pawns.'

"You better leave now. Those around the castle are those who didn't like our leadership and they'll do anything to bring us down even in times like this." Yasaka urged Magari, "I don't know why, but the usual Etouldes that I had contact with have disappeared and were replaced by another group that's a bit more... radical."

Magari was about to say something when the fur on her body suddenly stood up and that's also the same for Yasaka's nine fluffy tails.

They hurriedly turned around and saw a thick white fog forming.

Yasaka stood up and prepared herself while Magari also transformed into her humanoid form.

A second later, the thick fog started dispersing, revealing two spears that crossed each other and were held by two bespectacled women wearing traditional Eastern attire.

But before Yasaka and Magari could react, a golden silhouette shot out from behind them and tackled Yasaka.

Magari was about to counterattack when Yasaka hurriedly stopped her and exclaimed, "Kunou!? What are you doing here!?"
