An entire floor of the office building has been rented by John. At the same time, there is a removable blocking wall between the offices.

For game development, creativity is a very important thing. How did creativity come about? Faced with a computer and suffocated by yourself? Okay, maybe there is, but in most cases, it is a spark of mind when talking with others. Although everyone has a separate work desk, they are not separated from each other by barriers but are very open, and they can chat face-to-face with each other after work.

"The matters in this part need to be modified as the speed of zombies is not fast enough. They can run fast, even in a straight line, they run faster than the player."

Looking at the numerical table and the performance of the zombie in a demo program written by the official game engine, John did not approve of the zombie's numerical value.

Although many parts of the game can directly use the materials in the previous Resident Evil and Outlast, many places need to be re-made. For example, more actions will be added to the game, like climbing over walls and creeping. These require motion capture to generate new materials for production.

Some projects are outsourced, this is for sure. Otherwise, with their small team of more than 40 people, they must also take into account the content and its sequel development preparation work. Completing Resident Evil Resistance within two or three years would be simply impossible.

If the development were delayed for two or three years, there might be new game development technologies and hardware changes, or the theme might not feel as fresh anymore.

The cost of employee salaries, rent, and other expenses are not small figures, so it is better to outsource most of the tedious work and focus funds on speeding up the development process.

After discussing some directions for Resident Evil Resistance with a few core personnel, John went on to refine the game files.

Later, John noticed Luna chatting with Evelien and a few other girls who were in charge of fine arts and detailed copywriting. It wasn't gossip, it seemed related to the game. John saw Evelien opening the modeling software, bringing up a model from the material store, and pulling the clothes off the model.

As the group of girls chatted, John decided not to interrupt and he returned to his office. About half an hour later, the office door was pushed open, and Luna entered with a smile on her face.

"What were you just discussing with Evelien and the others? Was it about the game?" John asked Luna, curious.

"Of course!" Luna replied, sitting on a chair and raising the corner of her mouth slightly.

John's curiosity only grew. "What type of game?"

Luna smiled happily, sitting in her chair. "I won't tell you. I'll show you once the design draft is perfected."

John wanted to press for details, but his phone suddenly rang. He picked it up and saw it was a number he didn't recognize. After answering, John looked surprised and quickly logged in to his official game designer account.

"What's wrong?" Luna asked curiously.

"The Social Tap Game Show invited me to participate and speak as a representative," John said with a smile.

The Social Tap Game Show, despite its name, attracts developers from all over the world. It has been held for 11 consecutive years and is one of the biggest events besides the New York Game Fair, London Game Fair, and Cologne Game Fair.

The event gathers over 100 developers from across the globe. Local first- and second-tier game developers, as well as international companies like UEGame and Lion Gate, participate.

In the industry, it's said that no game company invited to the Social Tap Game Show is weak. Being a designer invited to speak at the event is an acknowledgment of significant influence and achievements in the industry. For John, this was a valuable and prestigious opportunity.

A moment later, someone knocked on the office.

"Come in."

The door opened to reveal Koch, who looked excited. "Mr. John, did you hear? We just received the news that our Studio will be invited to the Social Tap Game Show."

Koch could barely contain his excitement. For someone who had worked on mobile and online games at a third-tier studio, this recognition was a dream come true.

"I know," John replied. "Please inform everyone that we'll meet at four o'clock in the conference room to discuss the arrangements for the exhibition. Also, since Manager Armani might not be available, you may need to lead the team."

Koch was surprised. "Me, lead the team? What about you?"

"Oh, I've been invited personally by the organizers. I'll be giving a speech during the event," John said nonchalantly, though the slight smirk on his face betrayed his excitement.
