Pirates: Dangerous Options in My Brain

Chapter 119: Chapter 119: "The Gun God" Appears

[You chose option 3: Reveal your hidden identity and agree to assist the Whitebeard Pirates in rescuing Ace.]

So, I don't have to "agree," just volunteer myself, right?

Vivian twirled his modified flintlock rifle, thinking to himself with a satisfied expression.

Shortly after this information appeared, the follow-up mission for his Conqueror's Haki also popped into his mind.

[New mission: Both Good and Evil—Assist the Whitebeard Pirates, change history, and save either Ace or Newgate. (Current stage: 4)]

"Hiss!" Vivian took a sharp breath.

What kind of mission is this?

Save either Whitebeard or Ace?

That's going to be tough!

"Is this asking me to change the original story?" he muttered to himself.

Meanwhile...

"The Gun God Larvin has joined the war."

"Damn, Whitebeard even called for extra help?"

"Take him down!"

Dozens of marines raised their flintlock rifles, aiming at Vivian.

But in the next moment...

Bang bang bang bang bang—!

Like a Gatling gun, dozens of bullets fired simultaneously, knocking the rifles out of the soldiers' hands.

Each bullet hit its mark perfectly, shattering the rifles into useless scrap metal. The marines were left stunned, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

"What kind of bullets are these?"

"Armor-piercing rounds?!"

The marines were shocked, clutching their slightly numb hands, their faces filled with disbelief.

"And to knock out all our guns in an instant..."

Such marksmanship...

Such speed...

That guy really is the Gun God...

They couldn't help but be amazed.

Similarly, the pirates guarding the Whitebeard Pirates' ship were also stunned, their minds filled with incredulous thoughts.

"That guy... could he be the marine from earlier?"

"Is he really Loget Larvin?"

"Of course, who else could have such incredible marksmanship?"

The bearded pirate who had spat at Vivian earlier was now trembling slightly, a cigarette dangling from his mouth.

He was almost in awe.

That marksmanship... how could it be so cool?

With just a wooden stick, he had scared the marines so much they didn't dare move. Thinking about how he had spat at this guy earlier, he felt his face flush with embarrassment.

What should he do?

Would Vivian shoot him later?

He began to imagine Vivian shooting him.

Meanwhile...

Several more bullets shattered the ice, causing the seawater to start spilling out. The marines who had been preparing to attack the ship instinctively retreated, moving away from the shoreline.

"You…" Aili, who had just helped paint Vivian's face, ran out from the ship's cabin, wanting to call his name but realizing she didn't know it.

Should she call him Larvin?

Aili hesitated.

"My name is Vivian, Alfred Vivian," he said softly, noticing her discomfort.

"Vivian…" Aili nodded, memorizing the name. "You're still injured, be careful."

"Don't worry." Vivian grinned, showing his white teeth. "When I get back, I'll cook for you."

Aili: o(///▽///)q

"Now, I need to try and see if I can rescue Ace."

With that, he pulled out a universal capsule from his pocket and threw it overboard. A black motorcycle appeared out of thin air.

Vivian mounted it, twisted the throttle, and the exhaust roared as he sped across the ice towards the execution platform.

"This war seems to have… taken an unexpected turn."

Standing on the right side of the execution platform, Sengoku looked through his binoculars at the distant figure of "Larvin" and couldn't help but frown.

"That guy might become a big problem… Garp, can you stop him?"

He turned to Garp, who had been silent and motionless since the war began.

"Don't worry… I can distinguish between public and private matters." Garp replied expressionlessly.

He indeed wanted Ace to be rescued, but as a marine, he also had the duty to stop these vicious pirates.

Clenching his fists so tightly that his nails almost dug into his flesh, Garp glanced at the speeding Vivian on the motorcycle, while also keeping an eye on Luffy.

You brat…

I'll leave your brother to you.

"Ace!"

Covered in wounds, Luffy broke through one defense line after another, his eyes firmly fixed on the execution platform above. "Ace, I'm here to save you!"

"Luffy!" Ace's eyes widened as he saw Luffy charging into the marine ranks alone, filled with endless worry.

Maybe, as that jailer said, I should have committed suicide in Impel Down?

Now so many brothers are dying to save me…

His heart was filled with guilt.

Just then.

Bang!

A bullet flew and hit the executioner's long sword, causing it to fall to the ground.

Vivian, riding his motorcycle, blew the white smoke from his gun barrel and looked up at Ace on the execution platform alongside Luffy.

"Hey, Portgas, I warned you. Now that Whitebeard has mobilized so many people to save you, how do you feel?"

"How do I feel?" Ace looked at Vivian, momentarily confused.

That guy…

Why is he here?

A familiar figure flashed in his mind.

Luffy, on the other hand, tilted his head curiously at the oddly dressed Vivian, not recognizing him at all. "Who are you? A crew member on Ace's ship?"

"Me? Loget Larvin, the nemesis of the World Government." With that, he aimed his modified gun at the Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs on Ace's hands.

Bang!

The bullet shot out instantly.

But at that moment.

A layer of frost suddenly formed, blocking the bullet in mid-air.

Crack!

The bullet embedded itself in the thick ice, stopping just before it could penetrate through, and fell to the ground.

"Ice Block: Pheasant Beak."

Accompanied by a cold breath, a massive ice bird shot towards Vivian and Luffy.
