"Ah!! Vivi… My dear. You've finally come."

Agent Yan was one of the top agents of the Han Entertainment and with his uncle seating in the director seat, he had a lot of says in the company.

"Come. Seat here. Come."

Though Viviana was calm outwardly, inwardly, she scoffed at the agent's antic.

'The Han Entertainment should really sign him as an actor. Could've won at least one award?' She mused to herself.

Indeed. Agent Yan was a good actor. Anyone who did not know the inner story would think that he really cared for his artist seeing the way he behaved around Vivi at the moment. Well. He did care for his artists. Just not Viviana.

"How was your long break?"

"…"

"I hope you've come to your mind now."

"…"

"You see. I'm asking you to not be so repulsive to_"

"Just get it straight. Why do you want me here?" annoyed by all his chit-chat, Viviana interrupted.

She was already annoyed when he called her suspension a break. Now that she thought about it, it was all because of him that she did not appear to the public for almost three months, leading the netizens to belief that she was pregnant. And then he performed his usual stunts of sucking popularity from others.

Viviana's rude interruption easily wiped away the awfully sweet smile off Agent Yan's. And a scorn took its place. The world thought that Viviana is a mindless woman who's only after fame. An attention seeking bitch who's dying to be famous.

Insiders even suspected that she could be a daughter from a mediocre rich family as she cared not for how much she earns. Or that she was just a kept woman of a rich big shot.

But only those who got inclusive treatment in Han Entertainment knows that Viviana was a special backdrop designed for Lyra to shine brighter.

Viviana joined the company when she turned 21, which was considered to be late in the industry. The moment she walked into the door, people knew that she surely be a figure of the industry. Her presence itself commanded for attention. Many had held high hopes for her only to be swallowed by disappointment.

But looks wasn't everything in the industry.

People soon found out that the new trainee, other than her beauty and presence, had no other quality for being in this field. Her skills seemed to barely reach the cut off and she was inattentive with her training. But since her skills weren't considered to be too bad, the company kept her thinking that she'd be of use later.

After 6 months of training, she was shortlisted as a possible member for the debuting girl group. Many were dissatisfied with this but the Director had his own motive. He was charmed by Viviana's beauty.

After the final 5 trainees were finalized, they were taken to have an introduction session with the higher ups in the company by their newly assigned agents and managers. It was followed by a dinner party with karaoke for entertainment.

The rookies were called out to do a little performance for the executives who were enjoying their drinks. All but Viviana.

"Miss Ying. Have a seat."

Viviana nodded and said her thanks before she took her seat in front of the director.

Director Yan was in his forties. But he was not an uncle with beer belly. Dressed in suits, he was a fine gentleman of the business world. Having been in the industry for more than two decades, he was a well-known figure.

He wanted to ask her to take the seat by his side. But he dismissed it, thinking that it was natural for the little girl to be shy.

Viviana was a young lady who had just crossed her twenty. With her enchanting looks, she was a reincarnation of fox spirit. Yet her remote actions made more like an aloof empress looking down on the peasant.

Such contradictions charmed Director Yan since the moment he saw her in the dance studio. When he got her reports and saw her barely passing assessment, he was pleased. With such skills, she would not be able to debut into the Entertainment world.

Unless she was given a support. A support that only be given by someone like him. And in exchange he could have what he desired from her.

He arranged the introduction session that day specifically to inform her of the 'win-win' situation they could have. He also added that he would give her financial support too.

He was so sure that she would agree. After all, it was written in the report that before Viviana was cast, she was a bartender. And she took the allowance instead of staying in the dormitory provided by the company.

So, the rejection hit him hard when it was served. It was not a simple reply of consideration. But a direct reject.

"I don't need that."

It took Director Yan a few seconds to collect his words.

"Miss Ying. Considering the benefits you'll be receiving in exchanging for my little demand. I think it's pretty fair. I just want to give a little help to someone who needs it. Just that I can't do it for free. It's against my principle as a business man." He tried to persuade.

It was understandable to be hesitant to get into such relation. Specially, someone as young as Viviana.

"If you need some time to weight the pros and cons, its fine with me." The director suggested.

But it was to no avail.

"I am thankful that Director Yan is getting out of your way to help me. But really. There's no need to consider. I'm in no requirement for it."

Rejected twice in a raw, Mr. Yan could no longer maintain his gentle and calm persona, as bitterness filled his mouth.

"You do know that rejecting me could lead to you not debuting with your peers, right?" He questioned, staring into Viviana's eyes with mockery in them.

"…"

The young lady too matched his eyes with a coldness of her own.

"In fact. You might never get a chance to debut. You know that right?" He continued, thinking that a little threat might solve the problem.

But the result was undesirable to him.

"Well… I'm in no rush to debut. So…. No. Thank. You."
