"What was that? A person?"

Chen Yang stood at the village entrance, puzzled for a moment, then decided to give chase and see what it really was.

But before he could make a move, the pack of dogs in the field suddenly turned around and ran back, not continuing the chase.

Wangcai didn't respond directly but instead barked towards the pack behind it.

Then, a big yellow dog came out from the group.

The big yellow dog walked up to Chen Yang and spat out a piece of torn fabric.

Chen Yang immediately recognized it as material from human clothing.

So, it seemed that the one in the field earlier was definitely a person, not an animal.

"Well done, keep up this spirit in the future, and you all won't be mistreated." Once he confirmed it was a person, Chen Yang immediately praised Wangcai.

Wangcai loved this kind of praise; hearing it, it raised its head proudly and was very excited.

After jumping around the village entrance for a bit, the pack of dogs dispersed.

Hei Yun was the same breed as Wangcai, both wolfdogs.

In terms of appearance and physique, Hei Yun was even more handsome than Wangcai.

Its glossy black fur was like black silk; just looking at it felt pleasant.
