Pause System: Harem In The Apocalypse

Ria appeared before the dragon with glaring right into it's eyes.

She was pissed.

[Spatial Manipulation: Distort.]

She thrust her arm at the Dragon's skull before her. The space ahead her arm's palm instantly distorted after she did so.

She planned to finish it all off in one single move and get things quickly over with. But to her surprise-

*SwoosH*

She had missed.

The Dragon twirled past the distorted space with it's long body before swinging it's tail at her.

[Spatial Manipulation: Teleport.]

Ria teleported beneath it, fully prepared to strike again. Her eyes widened however, as the tail suddenly appeared before her eyes again.

'It predicted where I'd teleport!?'

*WHAM!*

*BURST!*

The tail slammed against her face, bursting upon collision and thus sending her soaring through the air at incredibly high speeds.

*CRASH!*

Ria crashed against the dome's ceiling with her back. The impact was so powerful that she was forced to cough out all the air in her lungs.

With her entire back, arms and legs ingrained into the wall, her vision slowly adjusted to the Wind Dragon charging towards her at unmatched speeds.

After blinking just once, she could see the inside of it's mouth as it was right ahead of her once again.

'!!!'

[Spatial Manipulation: Teleport-]

*CRASH!

The dragon crashed into the dome's ceiling in the exact location where Ria had been.

*Pant* *Pant*

Ria watched from the other side of the ceiling with a surprised look. She thought it was a coincidence it had avoided at first, but with the way it was moving, there was no mistaking it.

'This thing is strong..'

The dragon dragged it's windy fangs across the ceiling as began circling the ceiling, making its way towards Ria.

'It found out my location already, huh...'

Ria was left in surprise once more as it covered the distance between them in seconds. She had literally teleported to the other side of the dome.

It was coming in for another attack, however... This time she was prepared.

Ria thrust her arm out to the right.

[Spatial Manipulation: Storage.]

The space beside her arm distorted, and her arm sunk into that very same space, grabbing a hold of a handle.

*Grasp*

With the Dragon one second away, Ria swiftly dragged the rapier out before swinging it in a circular motion before her.

[Spatial Manipulation: Distort]

A large distortion manifested in the shape of a circle in the area ahead of her. The dragon was heading right at it, there was no chance it'd be able to avoid it with all it's momentum.

*Thrust*

Lita simultaneously thrusted her rapier at the distortion.

[Spatial Manipulation: Spatial Burst.]

The instant the edge of her rapier touched the distortion, the distortion suddenly burst in the dragon's direction.

Ria's new move which allowed her to burst the distortions she created in whatever direction she thrust her blade towards.

So far no target had been able to survive this burst, all trace of it would be scraped away and distorted.

That was the case and yet.

Ria's pupils dilated as her head suddenly turned to the left.

There the dragon was, it's mouth wide open with it's fang closing in on her head.

The Dragon had avoided her distortion by both cancelling it's momentum and propelling itself around the it.

'How? How did it react so fast?!'

[Telepor-]

[Dark Flame Wall]

The Dragon's fangs were cut off by a dark wall of flames which suddenly appeared in-between it's fangs and Ria.

Delta's figure suddenly appeared beside the falling Ria's body, grabbing a hold of her to stop her from getting swept up by the wind currents from the tornado beneath them.

"Delta?" Ria called out to her as she turned to her.

Delta was standing ontop of a bird made of pure dark flames, for her body was also partly covered in flames.

Thanks to Delta's great control, the flames weren't burning Ria nor did they feel too hot for her.

"Focus, that thing's not done attacking." Said Delta with a serious expression.

It had never left her sight from the moment she had stopped it's attack.

It even managed to propel itself beneath the wall of dark flames Delta had created just to get to the them. Fortunately, Delta expanded the wall into a sphere of dark flames surrounding them.

"What's the plan? It's somehow able to foresee every attack, I throw at it... And when I teleported beneath it, it instantly reacted knowing my exact location." Said Ria whilst trying to make out what it was doing outside the dark sphere.

*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*

Bursts of air began crashing against the dark flame sphere from all around.

"I know... I was watching..." Muttered Delta. "There's only one explanation for this... It can see it."

'See it...?' Ria questioned inwardly.

"The wind... Everything which is taking place in the air around it... Your moves, your location and even your breathing. It's all being guided by the wind. IT can feel all of that..."

"And to make things worst... The wind's on its side... That's how it was able to avoid everything..."

*BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!!*

"What I want to know is how a monster of this level ended up in here..."

Ria shook her head.

"That doesn't matter... What matters is dealing with it right now... Please help me out, Delta."

Delta nodded.

"Of cour-"

The two girl's eyes widened as Delta's voice suddenly cut off mid-sentence. At that moment, there was a sudden change in the air inside of the dark flame sphere.

The Dragon had stopped attacking but... They could no longer breath.

'It's sucking out all the air out of here... It's planning on suffocating us!'

[Wind Manipulation: Suffocation.]

The Dragon's velocity increased as it circled the dark flame sphere, it's more rotations it completed, the faster it ebcame.

[Wind Manipulation: Wind Compression.]

The surrounding wind began to the compress the dark flame sphere as another spherical layer overlapped the dark flame sphere's layer. This new layer was made completely out of wind and it helped further compress the dark flame sphere.

The Dragon who had been putting it's power into destroying the sphere, suddenly came to a stop.

*Growl..*

With a quiet growl it slowly inspected it's surroundings... And just as it had suspected, the two girls were on the opposite end of the ceiling once again.

Behind them was a slight distortion in the space, they had teleported.

"...It caught on to us already..." Muttered Ria as she glared at it.

"Doesn't matter, let's split up and defeat it." Responded Delta beside her.

Feeling threatened by the two's glare, the dragon opened it's mouth wide and let out a loud intimidating roar.

*ROAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!*

It's roar charged and empowered by it's wrath sent strong gale bursts in the direction of the girl's. The tornado's power seemed to increase significantly as an additional result.

The two could feel it. The sheer rage behind it's roar as their ears rang. The dragon was infuriated... But that didn't stop them.

[Spatial Manipulation: Teleport.]

Ria instantaneously appeared above the dragon with her rapier in hand. She was already in the motion of thrusting it downwards at it's long snake-like body.

[Spatial Manipulation: Spatial Burst.]

From the tip of the rapier and onwards, the space distorted, bursting in the direction she had thrust.

"Tsk."

She clicked her tongue as the Dragon slithered it's way out of the attack once again. It truly felt impossible to hit it.

The dragon swung it's tail towards Ria as if it were some sort of whip to counter.

[Spatial Manipulation: Distortion.]

Ria grinned in that instant, distorting the space where the trajectory of it's tail was likely to lead it before it hit her.

*Whap!*

Like some sort of whip, it's tail stopped right before coming into contact with the distortion, whipping at the air instead.

It managed to cancel out it's momentum once again, and that wasn't the end of it-

Ria's eyes widened as she looked all around.

After just a single blink, she was surrounded by countless fangs of wind which had manifested all around her.

They didn't randomly surround her from every direction, but they were all locked onto her and any possible path she could possibly teleport to around it.

"Delta, how much longer?" She asked with a nervous grin.

[Dark Flame Manipulation: Dark Flame Waltz]

A dark flame came soaring in, bulldozing it's way through the countless fangs of wind in the air before striking the wind dragon from below.

*Swoosh!*

Right before the dark flame mad econtact with the dragon, it managed to propel itself out of the way, bending it's snake-like body as it did so to barely avoid the sword which emerged from the dark flame.

"Tch, I missed.." Delta clicked her tongue this time.

The part of the Dragon's tail had caught on fire, but after swinging it around for a while, the fire faded.

*ROAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!*

The Dragon let out another loud roar after noticing that it had been grazed by Delta's attacks.

At that moment, the countless fangs of winds which weren't burnt by Delta's flame waltz were propelled at the two girls.

Simultaneously, a barrage of abilities were fired from the ground below. It was coming from the corps members which had arrived at the scene.

All the attacks were doomed to collide.
