Pause System: Harem In The Apocalypse

Chapter 209: Slumber's End (Finale).

'So... she just awakened her powers out of nowhere? Based on what she said, there wasn't any visible triggers... But still, to have awakened in to the extent where all the plates and cutlery were sent flying at the wall... It was truly no joke.'

"What happened after that?" Gray asked

"After we got home, they made me show them how I did and to what extent I could."

"I don't know how but doing it felt natural, I was confused at first but I managed to telekinetically control anything I wanted, up to a certain weight."

"And after that day... I was told to never use my powers and the incident was never brought up again."

Gray who had been listening was at a loss for words. He had expected something but this far exceeded his expectation.

This all happened around the time him and his sisters parents were still alive after all.

"So I did as told and never used my powers again... And yet.."

"And yet..."

-Memory

There she was, waking up all alone in an unfamiliar blank room. Never to hear from her parents again.

-Memory End.

"..."

Gray didn't say anything after she had finished.

Instead, he pulled her saddened figure closer to his chest and allowed her to rest there.

They didn't exchange any words after that.

"..Didn't anyone ever tell you it's bad to show a girl this much kindness?"

Violet dug her face deeper into his chest and muttered. "She'll end up falling for you at this rate, you know... Me for example."

Gray's expression tensed up for a moment, he blushed slightly and chuckled a little before replying. "Stop joking around."

Violet suddenly mounted on top of his laid down figure and found a perfect seat just above his hips for her to stay.

She looked at him dead in the eye before replying. "I wasn't joking."

*Thump*

'What the hell has been happening today...? Aren't these girls a little more assertive now? One after the other making my heart beat like this...'

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"...You know what I mean.." She replied.

"Do I? I'll need you to spell it out for me so I'm sure." He continued.

*Thump*

Violet's cheeks blushed this time, her determined look grew slightly shaken as she realised what he meant.

Despite that, she wasn't against it.

Just as she was about to lean down on him to whisper it in his ears, Gray sat up, grabbing a hold of her waist to keep her locked in place before the two stood face to face with one another.

It was just the two of them in this quiet room, the tension in the air was high with them being so close to one another.

Violet could feel something hard slowly start to rise beneath her ass, she didn't need to ask to know what it was.

Gray could feel the area above his pants slowly becoming more moist.

Their hearts were pounding in rhythm.

Violet who began to have second thoughts, worried about what she might do especially after the argument with Aurora, suddenly she remembered.

"Ah! Aurora! Is she somewhere safe? I haven't seen her at all since waking up."

[X-Ray: Level 1]

Gray looked to the left, peering through the walls at the living room.

There she was, laid down on the couch, fast asleep.

"Yeah, she's asleep in the living room right now."

Violet sighed in relief. But the relief only lasted a second as she realised the initial situation remained at hand.

Part of her wanted to back away and say it was all a joke since she wasn't sure of how he could react and she really didn't want to ruin what they had together.

But part of her...

"Fine... I'll tell you... But you have to promise me something..."

She slowly leaned in towards his ears.

"Don't hate me for this..."

Gray's eyebrows raised up, his eyes slowly widened as she stopped by his ears and whispered. "I told you... I-I... L-L-Like you a lot... No... I love you."

*Thump* *Thump* *Thump*

Their hearts were pounding at an even faster rate than before, Gray who was still holding on tightly to her waist, could feel her soft breath pushing against his neck.

The tension in the room was at it's peak.

Seeing as how she had said what she needed to say, Violet slowly moved away from him while she remained seated on top.

"So... You've heard what I've had to say... Now what."

Gray's expression which held a bit of shock at first, was already back to normal. Well, mostly...

His blush was still growing strong, just as strong as hers, when it came to situations like these, he was really bad at dealing with them.

"Now... I should give you an honest reply, shouldn't I?" He asked.

*Gulp*

Violet slowly nodded.

He leaned in towards her right ear, moving the hair out of the way before responding. "I love you too..."

*Kiss*

He gave her a slight kiss on her cheek before slowly drifting back to look at her reaction.

His words alongside the peck on the cheek were super effective, Violet's cheeks had grown spicy red, she was disorientated for a moment and steam even seemed to come out of her ears as a result.

"Y-You... I-If you're just saying that to make me feel better, I'll be mad to you..."

"Oh~ What happened to super confident Violet from before? Does she really think I'd like about my feelings like that? Maybe I should whisper it one more time..."

"O-Okay! I believe you... You don't have to whisper it again..."

"So does that-"

Gray was interrupted as Violet suddenly lunged at him, pushing him down onto the matt in the exact spot where he had just been laying.

She had pinned his arms down to the cushion, they were spread apart one to each side.

She looked at him for a few seconds, only for her vision to start to blur up.

*Drip* *Drop*

Tear drops fell on the side

"Gray you... You weren't playing, right...? You really do feel that way...?" She asked, with teary eyes. Her voice had cracked slightly, showing just how much it meant to her.

With a determined look to stay true to his feelings, Gray stared at her in the eyes whilst blushing before nodding and replying. "I'm not one hundred percent sure how it's supposed to feel but I feel like there's no other way to describe this feelign in my chest."

"So yes, I do."

*Drip* *Drip*

Violet's lips trembled as the slides slowly curled upwards only to turn into a bright smile.

"Hearing that makes me... Really... Really happy..!"

"But..."

'What about Aurora-'

Violet's thoughts were interrupted by Gray who suddenly said.

"I need to tell you something."

"...?"

"And that's about it..." Gray muttered nervously.

He had just gone over and explained how he and Aurora had also just had a similar conversation about their feelings for one another.

He explained how he'd made it clear that he like all three of them and that he had no plans on hiding it from the three of them any longer.

Violet listened in closely without a word of complaint and once he was finally done...

"Oh so that's what you were going to say... I was worried it was something much worse based on how you brought it out..."

"If it's just this... Then I can rest assured." She replied.

Gray was surprised.

"Aren't you mad at me for doing this?"

"Well... I am quite jealous for Aurora beating me to it but... Not mad at all. If we all get to share Gray, then everyone's happy, right?"

'Do things usually go this smoothly?' He wondered.

Violet slowly flopped down onto his chest, her soft tender breast which pressed against his own caused his already risen son to harden even more.

"Even though we're going to share you, I'll still end up being the one at the top of your heart." She whispered with a cheeky smile.

Gray chuckled nervously, unsure of whether or not this was a good thing or a bad thing.

But one thing was for certain.

'I'm really glad I didn't die by back then...'

"A-Also... He's got a lot of energy, doesn't he?" Violet asked as she looked down at his pants. "Doesn't he ever get tired?" She continued.

"Gray rubbed the top of his head and smiled nervously.

"No... These days he's been full of energy for some reason."

"Hm~ So taking my first time wasn't enough?" Violet whispered In his ears.

Gray slowly turned to Violet, his cheeks were bright red and his eyes filled with both love and lust.

"...Violet..."

"Gray..."

The two stared at one another, their hearts pounding once more as the tension again.

As their lips approached one another for a kiss, the door suddenly opened.

*Click*

The two turned to the door frame only to find Aurora standing there with a surprised look.

The longer she stared, the redder her cheeks became.

"Ah-"

Gray was so focused on Violet that he failed to notice it, Aurora had gotten up.
