Path To Godhood Begins With Marrying Wife And Gaining SSS Rank Skill

Chapter 90: 90:The Goddess Of Origin

Randall, Joel, Haro, and Irida sat rooted to the spot. Their eyes opened wide in shock and disbelief. None of them could understand what they had just seen.

"This…" Joel's lips trembled. His voice broke before he could finish the sentence.

They had watched Ethan fall again and again, beaten until there was no hope left. Yet in the final moment, he turned the tide.

From near death to absolute dominance, it happened faster than they could even think. They thought it was over, but Ethan had stood up and destroyed the Orc King.

"This…Is that Aura??"

A shriek snapped them out of their thoughts.

Joel swallows hard..It had been years since he came Advanced Knight yet he couldn't find the road ahead.

The reason?

It's because he couldn't materialize his belief to manifest aura.

However…the man did it before his very eyes.

As the last traces of crimson aura dispersed, Ethan's grip on his sword weakened. His body swayed a bit.

Then, with a dull thud, he collapsed to the ground, losing consciousness.

"My Lord!" Randall cried, his voice shaking.

"Sir Ethan!" Irida shouted in panic as they rushed toward him.

Before they could reach him, Ethan's body fell down but just as his eyes closed,he felt a bright light hitting him.

...…

The broken ground turned into a soft green meadow.

Fields of daffodils and exotic flowers bloomed all around. Their petals glowed faintly under the golden light. A calm breeze swept through the air, carrying a sweet fragrance. The place looked unreal, like a world that could only exist in a dream.

And amidst all,Ethan found himself standing in the middle admiring the beautiful world.

Ethan blinked a few times as his eyes adjusted. He looked around in surprise.

"Wasn't I just fighting the Orc?" he muttered.

"Why am I here?"

His voice was low and unsure. He raised his hand and flexed his fingers.

"Am I dreaming?"

He moved his arms and legs. Everything felt too clear, too real. His confusion deepened.

"Huh… how can I control my thoughts so freely in a dream?"

The doubt made him uneasy. His chest felt heavy. His mind whispered a darker thought.

"Am I under some kind of mental attack?"

The idea sent a shiver down his spine. He swallowed hard and forced himself to walk forward. Each step felt slow. The silence of the meadow pressed against his ears.

Then he heard it.

A soft voice, singing. The sound was gentle and sweet. It flowed through the air like water, filling his chest with calm. It was peaceful, almost hypnotic.

Without thinking, his body moved toward the sound. It carried him to the center of the field.

There, standing among the flowers, was a woman.

Her hair was hazel, flowing down with strands decorated by small garlands and flower tassels.

She looked like she had stepped out of a painting. Her presence was exotic, enchanting. Even a simple glance was enough to stir something in Ethan's heart. Yet he did not let his guard down. His eyes remained sharp.

"Who are you?" he asked firmly. "Are you the one who brought me here?"

The woman stopped singing. A soft laugh escaped her lips.

"Did you like my voice, Ethan?" she asked in a teasing voice.

Her words made Ethan take a step back. His breath grew shallow. Images of dreadful creatures flashed in his mind. Creatures who lured men with beauty and then devoured them.

But before his fear could grow, she laughed again.

Pffftttt!

The sound was playful, almost mocking. When Ethan snapped out of his thoughts, she seemed to vanish.

"Whatt!"

His chest tightened in panic. He spun around, searching for her.

"Where did she go?"

Then a voice came from behind him.

"How rude of you to treat me like that. How could you compare a beautiful and kind lady like me to those hideous things? Hmph! Your words hurt my fragile heart."

Her tone filled with subtle amusement.

"Enough!" Ethan shouted. His voice cracked with tension. "What game are you playing with me?"

"Game?" she replied, her voice echoing ethereally. "Isn't it you who is playing with my gift, dear Ethan?"

Ethan froze, making his breath hitched.

"Your gift?" he asked, his voice low in shock.

"Yes," she said. "My gift. You walk around charming women left and right , drawing them close, and gaining strength from my power. So tell me… am I not your benefactor?"

A chill ran down Ethan's spine. His body trembled as the truth struck him.

"You… You are the Goddess of Origin."

"Bingo!"

The word was followed by soft laughter. Before Ethan could respond, he felt something on his arm. A hand, warm and gentle, wrapped around it.

His body stiffened.

Then he felt a soft peck on his cheek.

His jaw opened wide, unable to comprehend what just happened.

"Hm," her voice purred, playful yet cold. "Use my gift well. But make sure not to waste it sleeping with whores and bitches."

"At least use it on women having some class…Okay..

The words hit him like a slap. His heart raced.

"Al.."she paused as quakes started to appear.

"Tsk…The Universe of this world is trying to repel me.."

"Sadly, I cannot stay long," she whispered. "So listen to me."

"Do not take risks like this again. The longer you live, the stronger you will become so you shouldn't do this meaningless things."

Ethan opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, the world around him shattered.

Cracks spread through the meadow.

Flowers started to break apart. The sky tore open.

Ethan looked around frantically as he felt his soul collapsing.

Light swallowed everything.

"Gyaaaahhhh!" Ethan screamed in shock.

"What the hell is happening!"

"Arghhh!"

"Ahhh!"

Multiple voices erupted at once, tearing into his ears like blades.

His vision slowly cleared up following which loud shouts rang in his eardrums.

Through the blurry sight,he saw Randall, Irida, and Haro were kneeling beside him, shouting in fear. Their faces were pale, their eyes filled with panic as they tried to wake him.

Ethan blinked, with a dazed look.
