Chapter 58: 58:Reversal

"Haaa.."

"I can't belive he breakthrough at such crucial time..It seems quite deliberate."

On the stage, Duke Philips sighed and shook his head. His eyes stayed on the arena where Ethan stood bloodied and broken.

"It was a good match. Alas, he was unlucky."

Duchess Emma also shook her head. Her gaze lingered on Fenwick who looked wild and ready to crush everything in his way. "At least make sure Baron Fenwick does not cross the limit."

Duke Philips nodded. His expression stayed calm but his voice carried weight. "Do not worry. I have already ordered my men. The moment Fenwick tries to do something out of order, they will bind him."

Julia, sitting close, could not take her eyes off Ethan's figure.

His white hair was stained with blood, and his face looked pale yet strong. Her chest tightened as she whispered inside her mind.

'Such a beautiful face… It doesn't look good with injuries. Huh…'

Her brows pressed together, confusion spreading through her thoughts.

'Why am I feeling like this?'

'What is this feeling?'

Before she could understand what was happening in her heart, Baron Fenwick made his move. His eyes burned with madness as he stomped the ground. The force cracked the stone floor, dust flying around him.

"I am going to finish this in the next move!" he shouted and thrust his fist forward with a heavy blow meant to knock Ethan down for good.

BANG!

The sound of the punch echoed across the arena, shaking the air. Everyone expected Ethan's body to be blown away or crumpled on the ground.

But nothing happened.

"This…" Baron Fenwick's eyes widened in disbelief. His fist was caught in Ethan's hand. Ethan's fingers locked around his knuckles, and he absorbed the impact with brute force.

Such a thing should not have been possible unless…

An unsettling realization flashed in Fenwick's eyes. His lips trembled as he muttered. "Don't tell me…"

Ethan's face lifted with a blood smile. Blood ran down his mouth, but his grin was wide and fierce, as if confirming Fenwick's fears.

"Hahaha…" Ethan's voice cut through the silence. "Yes, you are not the only one who made a breakthrough."

Before Fenwick could react, Ethan pulled him forward and smashed his forehead into Fenwick's nose.

BANG!

Blood splattered and Fenwick cried out as pain exploded through his face.

His nose broke and his eyes squeezed shut from the shock. Ethan yanked his arm again and threw a brutal punch straight into his jaw. Fenwick reeled back but managed to jab Ethan's ribs with his elbow.

Ethan took the blow but shoved forward, refusing to give ground.

The fight turned savage.

Fists and elbows clashed. They blocked, countered, and struck like two beasts locked in a cage. Fenwick tried to keep up, but Ethan's attacks grew sharper and faster. He moved like a man who had mastered every part of his body.

Ethan's fists cut through the air with the speed of a boxer. His elbows struck with the precision of a Muay Thai figher..

He stomped hard onto Fenwick's foot.

CRACK!

Fenwick screamed as bones snapped. Before he could recover, Ethan slammed his foot onto Fenwick's thigh with brute force. Fenwick's balance broke causing his body to sway, and Ethan kicked his chest.

The impact threw Fenwick back. He tried to counter mid-air, swinging his arm in desperation, but Ethan had already moved. His body flickered with Lightning Steps. In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Fenwick, wrapping both arms around his waist.

With a roar, Ethan leapt into the air, pulling Fenwick with him. At the height of the jump, he twisted his body and slammed Fenwick down in a suplex.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The ground shook and cracked wide open, splitting into a deep crevice. Rocks and dust exploded upward, filling the sky with debris. A shockwave spread out in every direction, rattling the walls and shaking the hearts of everyone watching.

The arena went silent for a moment, the force of the move leaving people breathless.

But Ethan did not stop. He had made that mistake once already. He climbed out of the crater and stood over Fenwick's half-conscious body. His fists clenched tight as rage and fire surged in his chest.

He pulled his arm back and slammed his fist into Fenwick's face.

BOOM!

"Take this!" Ethan roared.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

His fists hammered down again and again. Each strike echoed through the arena like thunder.

Fenwick's body jolted with every hit,and his head snapped from side to side. Blood sprayed with each blow, and his resistance fading into nothing until he was knocked out but Ethan didn't stop.

Duke Phillips, noticing this, signaled his man.

Soldiers rushed forward, leaping into the arena. They grabbed Ethan from behind, holding his arms as his fists shook with rage.

"Sir, please stop!" one of them shouted. "Baron Fenwick has been knocked unconscious!"

Ethan froze for a moment, his chest heaving up and down. Sweat and blood dripped from his face. He looked down at Fenwick lying motionless in the crater and frowned.

"For real?" he asked, his voice sharp.

"Yes," the soldier confirmed.

Only then did Ethan stop. He pulled free from the soldier's grip and stood tall, his body trembling from pain and exhaustion. He lifted his head and looked at Oliver in the stands. His voice boomed across the arena.

"We won!"

The cry echoed with raw power. The sound shook the ground and pierced the hearts of everyone. For a moment, the entire place fell silent, stunned by his words.

The arena stayed frozen in silence after Ethan's voice thundered through the air. Dust still drifted down from the cracked ground as if the ground itself had not recovered from the fight.

Then, like a wave crashing against rocks, the sound erupted.

"Wooooooahhh!"

"Unbelievable!"

"Baron Ethan! Lord Ethan!"

The people screamed his name at the top of their lungs. Some stood on their feet, waving arms in madness. Others were still in shock, eyes wide, jaws open, trying to believe what they had just witnessed.

In the noble stands, the Barons shifted in their seats. Baron Bragot's lips pressed tight. He had mocked Ethan before, but now sweat gathered on his brow. He whispered under his breath. "This… this is not normal. That boy… he is dangerous."

Baron Copper leaned forward, gripping the armrest of his chair. His face showed envy mixed with fear. "To think he also broke through at the same time… This changes everything. That boy is a threat, and a genius."

Several other nobles exchanged nervous glances. Their eyes betrayed both admiration and jealousy. They could already imagine the weight Ethan's name would carry from today onward.

In the back rows, young knights and squires clutched their fists, inspired by what they had seen. "Did you see that move?" one shouted.

"He slammed Baron Fenwick like he was nothing!" Another replied with awe, "That wasn't just power. That was a real skill."

On the stage, Duke Philips finally exhaled, his shoulders relaxing as if a mountain had lifted from them. "He did it…" he whispered.

Duchess Emma smiled faintly, her eyes gleaming. "He surpassed even our expectations. The boy has shown promise"

Julia's chest rose and fell quickly. Her eyes did not move away from Ethan's figure. Her lips trembled as strange emotions welled up inside her.

"Thank GODDD...He wonnnnn?" she asked herself silently. Yet her gaze stayed locked on Ethan, who stood tall in the crater, bruised and bloodied, but victorious.

Emma looked at her daughter's expression and for a moment she fell into deep thought.

The soldiers who had restrained him also looked at him differently now. Their grip had loosened, their faces showing respect rather than force. One muttered, "To fight Baron Fenwick like that and win… he's a monster."

Meanwhile, Baron Fenwick's supporters fell into silence. Their faces turned pale as they watched their champion lying motionless, his body broken and buried under rubble.

The reality sank into their minds that Ethan had won.

And not by luck.

He had dominated.

Oliver's chest swelled. His fist clenched in the air. "Yes! We won!" he shouted back. Tears shimmered in his eyes, his voice cracking.

At that moment, no one doubted it. Ethan had carved his name into their hearts.

This was not just a victory.

It was the birth of a legend.
