NOVEL NEXT Chapter 132: Herb mountain
Kai Min felt an indescribable emotion as she climbed the herb mountain along with Zhan Chen. Flower striped sand boas were no longer threats to them as they bowed their hoods meekly whenever Zhan Chen and Kai Min passed through them.
Zhan Chen's face was calm but their was an unwavering self confidence in his eyes. Kai Min stared towards Zhan Chen's face time to time. Her admiration for Zhan Chen grew with every single glance.
A sweet feeling appeared in her heart as she thought about her little moment with Zhan Chen. "What am I thinking?", her face became crimson after she pulled back her thoughts. She sneakily took a glance towards Zhan Chen and saw Zhan Chen was not looking at her. She hurried tried to appear normal and walked along with Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen had kept his soul consciousness open. So, how could he not see the reddened face of Kai Min? But he didn't want to make her awakward. So, he pretended to not see anything.
His current focus was on Flower striped sand boas as he noticed more powerful Flower striped sand boas in their way. The further they climbed the mountain, the lesser the number of Flower striped sand boas but what truly attracted his attention was the cultivation level of sand boas who were guarding the higher places.
"Tier two and tier three sand boas are of no use to me. But I can't ignore tier four Flower striped sand boas", he thought to himself.
Tier two magical beasts were similar to level two human cultivators. Beasts had their separate ways of cultivation but the process was almost same in lower levels. Both human cultivators and magical beasts had to open their meridians when they reached level two or tier two.
Similarly, tier three magical beasts were similar to True esse realm cultivators and tire four magical beasts could be compared to Core condensation realm human cultivators.
Beasts had their unique advantage over humans. Humans were gifted with brains but their physical prowcess was in lower side when compared to physical prowcess of magical beasts. Flower striped sand boas were short in size but their small size made them more deadly in combat.
One could use them for a surprise attack and that was the reason why Zhan Chen felt interested.
Zhan Chen scaled more height and finally the fourth tier sand boas entered his eyes and Kai Min's. He was keeping his soul consciousness open all the time. So, he had already known the position of fourth tier sand boas.
A thought appeared in his mind and two invisible rays entered nearby fourth tier sand boas. The flower striped sand boas body shook lightly but they couldn't resist the power of Zhan Chen's overbearing soul attack.
Even majority of human Core condensation realm experts couldn't deal with soul attacks. The cultivators who were not aquatinted with soul attacks only had two way to resist the soul attacks of an attacker. That was if they had any rare treasure related to soul or they had higher level cultivation level than the attacker.
But Zhan Chen was unique in this case as even the higher level cultivators or upper tier magical beasts could not resist his soul attacks. His uniqueness was due to his sage level soul. Although his soul was still damaged but it was healing slowly with time.
His soul strands entered the Flower striped sand boas' bodies and turned into invisible symbols. Only few moments had passed since Zhan Chen came to the vicinity of tier four sand boas but he already had two tier four Flower striped sand boas in his control.
Suddenly, he felt some changes from Kai Min. Her face was red and there was a dazed appearance on her face as she kept staring at him.
He was holding her left hand. So, Zhan Chen could feel that her body temperature was dropping.
"What is this girl thinking?", Zhan Chen shook his head with a smile. He didn't have to look at Kai Min to know what was happening.
It was Kai Min's poisonous yin body acting up. Her condition was worsening each day. And when she thought about her intimate moments with him, her poisonous yin body acted up.
"Fortunately, we are not far away from herb mountain. Moreover, no one can enter the mountain while the Purple crown lion is still there. There are also illusion formations...", Zhan Chen thought to himself.
Kai Min pulled up herself after staying dazed for some time. Her face was already red and a strong desire was flaring up in her heart. Previously she had reservation in her heart regarding matter with Zhan Chen. But after spending sometime with Zhan Chen, her reservation had loosened up. Even a special feeling for Zhan Chen had already blossomed in her heart.
"Don't worry. We just need a little time", Zhan Chen comforted Kai Min. Kai Min blushed as she knew the meaning behind Zhan Chen's words.
Zhan Chen obtained two more Purple striped thunder boas before reaching the top of the mountain. Kai Min's condition worsened as a dazed look appeared on her face once again.
A mist covered area appeared Infront of Zhan Chen's eyes after he climbed up the steep path from the west side of the herb mountain.
"An illusion formation of earth grade can't block my way", he muttered to himself and looked at the surrounding mist. His eyes glowed as he observed the all pervasive mist.
With his experience, earth grade formations were not a challenge for him. If the formation ahead was an attack formation then he would have shown some caution but an illusion formation didn't pose any challenge to him.
He merely scanned the surrounding with his soul consciousness and walked ahead. His left hand was on Kai Min's waist as he pulled her along with him.
Kai Min was already on the verge of losing her mind. Her face was completely red as she was trying to move her hand towards the place between her thighs. Zhan Chen was holding her body tightly. He didn't let Kai Min's hands move around.
As time passed, Kai Min felt the tingling sensation going strong under her undergarments. She felt as if her body was on fire but Zhan Chen could only feel coldness from her skin. If not treated in time, the poisonous yin body may prove deadly for a female cultivator.
Zhan Chen was aware about it. 'Looks like I can't delay any further. According to my calculation, there should not be any problem for another month but we can't take the risk. I have already discovered many herbs with Yang attribute. Majority of them are better than the herbs than Treasure cloud pavilion had prepared....', Zhan Chen thought to himself.
Zhan Chen walked through the illusion formation calmly. There was not a single mistake in his part as he crossed the earth grade illusory formation with Kai Min in his hand.
