Players, in the early stage, have a huge disadvantage compared to NPC's growth because of one simple thing 'Enlightenment' For players grasping enlightenment meant growth and that would be only possible when the game reaches the mid-early stage where few players reach level 300 or the few exceptions the likes of Kraugel, Hurrent, Haster, Agnus, and Yura who crave their path and easily learned new skills and earn a lot of achievements, currently this is the beginning of Satisfy which mean there was supposed to be no one in the player base to this, yet one player already achieve mastery of meditation and was doing the quest 'Path of Enlightenment' going by the name Grid.

Such an absurd statement from Morpheus the supercomputer was quite surprising since it was only the first day, to be more specific the first few hours since the launch of Satisfy, Lim Cheolho then said.

"Hahaha... interesting... I didn't think that the quest would be triggered in the first few hours, and you're saying that his rate of success is 99.8%?"

[Yes the user Grid's chances of completing the quest are 99.8% and further analysis says that he has the highest chance of becoming the Undefeated King's Successor or Sword Saint.]

*Gasp was heard from the surrounding board members that this user going by the name Grid has the chance to become the strongest legend or strongest swordsman in Satisfy, not only was the chance of him being able to clear the quest is high, this meant that his growth would be fastened and pave the way to becoming a 'Transcendent' maybe even 'Absolute', the board member shudder at the thought of someone greedy becoming an absolute, one of the male members yelled and said.

"T-this! This is absurd! Someone like him shouldn't have such power! Especially now since it's just the early stage!"

The other members hum at this completely agreeing with his reasons, Lim Cheolho however has some doubts and says to Morpheus.

"Morpheus, will this player in particular cause damage to others for his benefit?"

Lim Cheolho who heard Morpheus laughed "Hahaha..." the board members though had their mouths wide open, a player who just started was already being compared to 'Chiyuo the Martial God' himself? They had one thought about Grid 'Is he a genius?', Lim Cheolho then told Morpheus.

"Morpheus put Grid's name in the 'miracle' category alongside Kraugel, Jishuka, and Yura."

As Lim Cheolho smiled he thought to himself. 'Interesting these 4 players are already advancing similar to a super-named NPC, Grid the one who understands the world with godly techniques, Kraugel the genius, Jishuka the huntress who relies on her intuitions with perfect aim, and lastly Yura who was the first to gain a class and chose to become a black magician, out of these 4 people who would become the sky? And would more join the category 'miracle'? Only time would tell.' As he finished pondering in his thoughts, he looked at the huge monitor showing Agnus who was laughing maniacally while hunting, and on another screen Baal who was observing Agnus with a malicious smile.

-8 hours of game time, Patrian, Noontime-

Grid was smiling as he walked towards the nearest inn to cook his food and of course, pay for the ingredients that he might use, as he finally arrived at the front of the inn, he pushed the door open and a few customers looked at him after a few seconds they just continued back chatting or eating their foods, Grid walk straight to the bar counter and sees a man that looks to be in his late 30s or early 40s with a silver hair tied in a ponytail with a properly trimmed beard and an eye patch covering his left eye, and wearing a dark blue navy shirt and black coat hanging on his broad shoulders.

Grid then looks at the shelf and sees a long sword that looks to be made out of black iron ore mixed with a few blue orichalcum and under it a black with some small dark blue streak scabbard. Grid then thought to himself.

'Hmm... I guess Earl Ashur is not the only named NPC here in Patrian... I wonder where this veteran has gone too? Since in the previous turn if my memory serves me right I didn't encounter him... Did he die or left Patrian?'

As Grid was pondering how he never met this guy, the bartender was finally done making a drink for one of his customers looked at Grid and asked.

"Dear customer, may I ask why you're staring at me?" Grid hearing this realized he was looking at the bartender and was deep in his thoughts, he was embarrassed and replied saying.

"Ah...! I apologize since this is my first time seeing a bartender with a well-built body sir... Umm..."

The bartender noticed that he hadn't introduced himself spoke. "Ah... my apology my name is Airgid a retired swordsman, what about you boy?"

"My name is Grid a wandering adventurer, and the reason why I was looking at you is simple I was impressed with your strong body, it seems you focus on one sweep strike or a strong slash using two hands am I right?"

Hearing Grid's explanation Airgid smiled and laughed "Hahaha..." he was impressed how Grid was able to analyze his swordsmanship with just one look at his arms and body, Airgid then poured Grid a drink saying that the drink was on the house free of charge while smiling, Grid accepted the offer and said thank you as he drank it one go, Airgid smile disappears back to his serious look as he proceeds to ask Grid.

"Ok now that we're done with greetings, why would the little hero of Patrian be doing in my inn? Is it for information? Or perhaps a request?"

Grid just smiled and simply said. "I came here for one simple purpose... cooking."

Airgid hearing this took a moment to process what Grid said, after a minute or 2 he suddenly let out a booming laugh, the customers hearing this looked at Silver with a curious look as to why Airgid of all of the people in here who suddenly laughed out loud.

"Hahaha... I didn't expect cooking to be your answer... Anyway, I can allow you to use my kitchen and some of the ingredients but... where did you hear about this place?"

Airgid asked with a serious expression usually, Airgid would have shown his killing intent to show that he was serious but with Grid he didn't because he just liked Grid's character, Grid simply replied.

"I heard it from Anna, she said if I want to cook or sell rare ingredients I should go to Omori's inn where they process materials or foods from what Anna said."

Airgid hearing this was surprised that Grid knew Anna, he knew Anna was a hard-working mother who raised her daughter on her own, but due to some unfortunate event her daughter fell sick, and Anna was trying to make a medicine to cure her daughter but due to lack of money because her potion was not selling well, she couldn't hire a bodyguard to help collect the necessary ingredients for the medicine, Airgid then said.

"Thank you Grid for helping Miss Anna, if my twin daughters' were not suffering from an unknown sickness I would have helped her... Were you able to collect all the ingredients?"

Hearing Airgid words Grid was surprised that he knew Anna, and hearing Airgid's daughters were sick he was sad nevertheless he replied by saying.

"Yes, we were able to collect all the ingredients without a hitch... Also, can I ask a question?"

Airgid nodded to Grid implying to go ahead.

"What's exactly that sickness of your daughters'?"

Airgid hears Grid's question. *Sigh Airgid's face turns sour at the mention of her two daughters' sickness, but he proceeds to explain to Grid.

"My two daughters Alfia and Meterai were born with a weak constitution just eating or moving their body causes them extreme pain, They cried... they cried when I'm not looking to not worry me... Especially when their mother died they hid themselves in their room... From what I know is that it's an unknown disease with no cure..."

Grid hearing this felt bad and clenched his fist meanwhile, Airgid had a small tear fall from his eye and blamed himself for not trying hard enough to find a cure for his two daughters, Grid then said to Airgid.

"Airgid can I meet your two daughters? I know this sounds ridiculous since I'm just a stranger but... I think I can help lessen or maybe even cure your daughters."

Airgid hearing Grid's words instantly put both his hands on Grid's shoulders, holding them with a tight grip, as he did he asked Grid while his arms trembled subtly.

"A-are you telling the truth?! That there's a chance y-you can c-cure my daughters?"

Airgid who's desperate to save his two daughters requests that you make a cure for her daughters if not at least lessen the effects of the disease.

Grid nodded since he had an idea what's the disease that had been plaguing Alfia and Meteria, seeing Grid nod Airgid couldn't hold his emotions back and hugged Grid tightly, Grid being hugged suddenly got embarrassed due to multiple people looking at this scene.

"*A-ahem anyways let's go meet your daughters so I can check if my hunch is correct, then I can cure them after unlocking my mana core."

Airgid and Grid left the bar counter with Airgid's employee taking control of the counter for the moment, as they entered at the back they went upstairs and moved towards the room of the twins, Airgid knocked at the door and said. "Alfia, Meteria I brought someone to check if they can cure you... can we come in?"

For a good minute or 2 of silence, they waited for a response from the two "Come in..." Airgid hearing this opened the door gently, Grid then followed Airgid inside the room as they entered Grid saw two gorgeous twins, the first was Alfia a fair-skinned woman with silver hair. She had heterochromia, with her right eye being light green while her left was dark grey, and her body is quite 'Mature' for her age since she's only at the age of 18. The same case with Meteria the only few differences they have are her right eye being light blue while her left is dark green, and lastly, their moods Alfia is stoic and serious while Meteria is the opposite of that.

Grid who's still looking at the twins is brought back to reality when Airgid coughs and signals Grid to go do his thing, seeing Airgid giving the go-ahead Grid goes forward and introduces himself and at the same time asks his question to the twins.

"Good afternoon miss Alfia and Miss Meteria, My name is Grid and I'm here today to do a check-up on both of you to see if I can cure your disease, from what I heard from your father it seems to me that your disease is not a normal one... If you would allow me I can try to find out what is causing your disease and cure it to the best of my ability."

Meteria hearing Grid's words slightly gained a small light in her eyes as if seeing hope of being cured of this disease that plagued her since childhood, Alfia remains pessimistic that Grid can cure them and replies.

"And how are you supposed to do that? Even I can see that you're not a priest, a doctor, or a pharmacist, what makes you think you're qualified *cough to make a cure for us?"

Grid just smiled and nodded understanding Alfia's words, since from her point of view he was just a random stranger with no qualifications whatsoever, Meteria hearing Alfia's words pouted because she was being rude to Grid and said.

"Sister! Why are you being rude to sir Grid...! He's just trying to help... Even if the chances of us being cured are non-existent, we can still hope..."

Alfia just looked to the side feeling guilty because she was indirectly destroying Meteria's hope with her words, Airgid closed his remaining eye to not show weakness in front of his daughters, Grid was saddened by this.

'I think they have the disease 'mana poisoning' or 'elemental charge' since I have a method of curing such a condition.'

As he pondered this in his thoughts he spoke.

"I know your situation might look grim and can't be overcome... That doesn't mean you can't hope for salvation because in the past I also struggled and caused hardship to my parents because I was bad at everything... But I know for a fact the more you persist the better your future will be as long as you never give up.

He said with a soft smile, Alfia's face flushed due to Grid's unexpected words along with his soft smile, as for Meteria she was blushing badly which made her face similar to the color of a tomato as she avoided looking at Grid's face, Airgid seeing the reaction of his daughters is happy that they're acting their age and showing more emotion, he chuckles and said.

"Ok, that's enough of that, Grid is here to ask some questions regarding your body since he believes the cause of your condition is inside your body... As absurd as it sounds I think Grid must be on to something."

Alfia hears her father's explanation and nods her head, she then begins explaining to Grid their symptoms like when they move too much they will cough blood or simply just stretch their arms causing them immense pain, Meteria also added that she feels her heart and mind being detached when near a fire or a large body of water. Grid understood now what kind of disease they have and said.

"I think I know the reason why they have this symptom, first of Alfia's symptoms is 'mana poisoning' which is caused by being born with an active mana core, due to this her body is being damaged since she can't contain or control the mana and there's also the fact that other mage can't sense her mana because it's constantly being drained, as for Meteria symptoms it's 'elemental charge' which charge herself with elements but due to having no prior training this backfires and caused a lot of pain throughout her body, also only elves know elementalism which only a few of them can use."

With Grid done explaining his analysis, Airgid finally understood why the priest, pharmacist, or mage couldn't determine his daughters' sickness, as for Alfia she was genuinely impressed how Grid was able to piece everything up so quickly and understood their condition without much difficulty, Meteria was beaming with a bright smile finally understanding the cause of her sickness, her eyes now gleaming with hope was looking at Grid with expectation, Grid seeing the 3 looking at him to urge him to continue explaining.

"Both Alfia and Meteria's conditions are hard to cure simply because if a mage or priest tries to heal them they would just cause more harm than good, it is because of compatibility with their mana core unless a new mage or priest tries to do it they would fail regardless because they lack control of mana or divine power, luckily for you I'm trying to unlock my mana core, which means I can cure you both without much difficulty because I can control my mana and it's in the pure state since I didn't take any mana from any surrounding, unlike the senior mage or elder priest."

Grid said with a confident smile. Alfia, who heard this, let a small tear come out of her left eye as she showed Grid a genuine smile. Airgid was crying while he kept saying thank you to Grid over and over again. Meteria, though, cried and jumped towards Grid, intending to hug him with all of her might. Gid immediately caught her and just embraced her as gently as possible, patting her back softly.

After Grid said his goodbyes to the twins he asked Airgid to get the ingredients he needed by employing a specific method, so he could create the food by using the medium-grade health potion that he received from Anna, and Airgid's rare ingredients to make a meal that provides a regeneration effect for an hour or so and after 30 minutes of cooking he finally finished cooking.

"Okay with this I can start the process of unlocking my mana core, Airgid I will be back in about an hour or two and prepare another meal similar to this using the leftovers for Alfia and Meteria since they would need this later after I'm done with unlocking my mana core."

Airgid nodded as he prepared to follow the step-by-step process of how Grid made the food with the help of his employees, as he did he looked at Grid and said.

"Ok, I hope you come back here bearing good news."

Grid smiles and nods his head, as he leaves the kitchen he instantly sprints toward the healing fountain where the beginners level 50 and under can heal their health and stamina, Grid wastes no time and instantly consumes the 'Exquisite Launch Box' after that he then swallows the 3 broken slimes poisonous core alongside the acidic slime core, immediately he then deeps his body in the fountain and started meditating.

"Focus... I need to ignore the poison and acid... Just maintain control of my breathing at a steady pace and clear my mind... Also, I need to try and control my mana at the same pace as my breathing."

As he continues to focus people notice that Grid's body is emanating some kind of energy, with the color light blue mixed with dark green and dark gray colors swirling around his body.

As Grid was thinking of this, he sprinted towards Airgid's restaurant upon entering he instantly went to the back of the bar counter, employees seeing Grid just continued working since they were already informed of his arrival, Airgid holding two trays saw Grid, he smiles noticing Grid was smiling and thought to himself.

'Yes...! Seeing that Grid is smiling, that means he was successful with opening his mana core! Alfia, Meteria...! Both of you are finally gonna be cured of your illness!'

As Airgid finishes his thoughts both he and Grid instantly go to the twins' room carefully, but with careful steps since they don't want the trays his carrying to fall due to his excitement, after reaching the door Grid knocks on it gently and hears Meteria's voice "Come in!" hearing this Grid opened the door with a warm smile, Alfia noticing Grid's mood was excited and nervous because the sickness they have suffered since birth is finally going to be cured, Meteria though was beaming with a huge smile with small tears threatening to fall in both of her eyes.

"Airgid, please give the 2 trays to them, after they're done eating everything I will start opening both of their mana core and get rid of any unnecessary mana or energy that's inside their body."

Airgid nods with a happy smile as tears freely fall to his remaining eye, Meteria instantly takes her food and instantly devours it as fast as possible while her body is trembling from expectation, as for Alfia her hands are trembling a little bit due to her being nervous yet excitement of finally being freed from this sickness and ate her food with a happy smile. After the twins finished eating their food Grid moves behind the backs of the twins and puts his arms behind their back as he channels his mana into them.
