Our Little Dark Age

Heyo people, it is I, YJarex.

The Y is silent.

I'll keep this short so people don't have to slog through walls of text. I got a new story.

It's called Rise and Rapture, and it is about a boy trying to find his place in a world of magic, spaceships, and a number of very odd species and characters. I don't know how much overlap there is between Our little Dark Age and that, but if you like my style, or I could even just pique your interest a tiny bit, consider popping over and having a look.

There are ships in space, strange kiosks selling skill pearls and stranger potions on land, and adventurers saving the world of Wett from bi-annual floods. But there isn't a single bit of luck in Isaac's pocket. He has no money, the laws of magic — the Boon and Bane he was born with — are restrictive as heck, and his future seems to be heading straight into a dead end when life suddenly gives him a choice:

Stay at home, become a parasite, a neet, a failure, or risk it all, and be like the heroes saving the eternal empire again and again. Become an adventurer, that one-in-a-million ideal of selfless heroism, and see the stars for himself.

There's schemers and brutal competition to overcome, and friends to make before Isaac can build a build that will shoot him straight past the stratosphere.
