Only I Awaken The Forbidden SSS-Rank Dragons

Chapter 85: Forbidden Creatures?

After leaving the hospital ward, Matthew and Axel crouched near the door, studying their surroundings in case there were any half-dragons nearby.

Matthew's thoughts spun as they walked.

Thankfully, he had disposed of the tracking device that Instructor Silas had given him.

The others weren't so lucky.

Sylvia, Leo, Grati, and the others thought it was some sort of cherished treasure, so they had placed it within their Origin Rings.

The treasure was far from ordinary and could even ignore the restrictions on space. In essence, even if the treasure was in the Origin Ring, it could still be sensed by them.

Because of this, about eighty half-dragons were dispatched to kill all the students in the dormitory; as for the remaining ones, they were dispatched to kill the others within the infirmary.

Matthew sighed as he and Axel quickly strolled into the second ward not too far away from them.

They could hear whimpers from the room, giving away the fact that there were students inside.

Matthew just shook his head.

If it were Half dragons, they would have died without a doubt.

In such situations, it was best to keep calm and think of a way to escape.

Panicking wouldn't solve anything.

Matthew had written novels so he had to research about all these things.

This was the reason why his heart and thoughts had been hardened and he had decided not to be fearful or panic in such situations.

Matthew glanced at the door then slowly raised his hand towards it.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Hearing this, the whimpering and trembling in the room intensified.

Matthew frowned. He didn't have time to waste.

He didn't want any half-dragons to catch them abruptly.

Then the situation would really be dangerous.

Thinking this, he didn't hesitate and removed the slender black adamantium gloves from his hands.

He touched the door lightly, and slowly the door began to crumble, quickly disintegrating into dust.

Soon, the door had crumbled to reveal three ladies trembling beside the bed not too far away.

The lady in the middle was dressed in the white robes of the infirmary, and her face was pale.

He could even see a few tubes attached slightly to her.

Seeing Matthew, their bodies trembled subconsciously.

They had never met any half-dragons, so they didn't know how they looked, but if they were to guess, Matthew and Axel didn't seem friendly in the least bit.

Matthew sighed and then slowly approached them.

"What are your Origin Abilities?"

Matthew didn't want to waste any time with them, so he immediately asked.

At this, the three exchanged glances.

After a moment of hesitation, they finally spoke up.

"Err, my ability is to create small bursts of wind."

'Pretty useless,' Matthew was instantly disinterested in the ability.

Seeing the look of disappointment on his face, the other two spoke up.

"My ability can cast small ice spikes…"

Hearing this, Matthew's eyes lit up.

The ability was pretty useful.

He turned to Axel and nodded.

Axel quickly walked in and then moved closer to the girl.

Hesitating for a moment, he touched her lightly.

The next moment, he noticed the faint glow of her Origin Ability.

He copied the same pattern and stored it within his ability.

The ice spike ability had been… copied!

The other girl noticed this and fell silent.

After a while of silence, under the gazes of Matthew and Axel, she finally spoke up.

She didn't know what Matthew and Axel did by touching the girl with the ice spike ability, so she didn't know if it was good or bad, hence the hesitation.

"My ability is… uh… speaking to insects…" the lady seemed shy and lowered her voice at the last part of her sentence.

At this, Matthew sighed.

In his novel, he had really created some useless abilities.

Why didn't he just give everyone an overpowered ability?

Speaking of which, the second novel I write should be about that, huh?

Matthew had the faint thought but quickly shook his head.

Now wasn't the time to think about all these things.

He turned his attention to the window. He could see a few silhouettes not too far away.

From the burly figures, he could tell that they were half-dragons.

Sighs.

At that moment, Axel's voice came from behind…

"Matt, watch out!" While everyone was paying attention to the three girls, a half-dragon had snuck up behind him.

Matthew felt a chill crawl up his spine as the half-dragon swiped his claw toward his face.

The nearby dormitory door burst apart into splinters. The bronze plaque with the words "Dorm 005" was flung across the hallway and embedded into the opposite wall.

Everyone's gaze shifted instantly.

From the hallway, four large, muscular figures stepped into the room, their eyes glowing with eerie light.

A low, guttural growl rumbled from deep within their chests.

Leo felt shivers just hearing the sound.

Grati was stunned as well, and he retracted his attack, casting a scrutinizing glance toward the door.

There, dressed in black robes and standing at more than two meters tall, were creatures who radiated a deadly Rank 9 pressure.

"What are those?" Grati trembled slightly as he stared at the four creatures.

Leo just glanced at him through the corner of his eyes and sneered, not bothering to reply to him in the slightest.

Seeing this, his lackey chimed in so as not to let Grati lose face.

"I think the academy is in danger…"

Grati glanced at him for a moment but ultimately didn't say anything.

"Humans… hand over your life…" one of the dragons in front growled as he spoke.

The moment he did, all three lunged themselves at Leo and the other two.

Leo was already expecting them to attack, so the moment they did, he instantly used his speed and then countered. They vanished from their line of sight.

Unfortunately, half-dragons had already been enhanced by the dragon blood within them; because of this, they were far more terrifying than normal humans.

And they could even match some who had an Origin Ability.

One of the dragons caught sight of a shadow from the corner of his eyes and swiped his claw at it.

Bang!

A loud sound resounded as he crashed heavily onto Leo.

Leo was sent flying, crashing into the wall not too far away.

However, this was all part of his plan.

Without hesitation, he used the momentum of his movement to scale through the window beside him.

Glancing down, he jumped without hesitation.

Traces of lightning danced around his body as he jumped.

Bang!

He crashed heavily on the ground, but with his body enhanced with Origin Energy within the Origin World, he wasn't too affected.

The system's mission didn't state he had to fight the half-dragons.

All he had to do was survive!

Seeing this, Grati cursed.

"Bastard. Just don't let me get you!" He didn't expect Leo to be so shameless and run away at the first sight of danger.

Frowning, he turned to the four half-dragons who were facing him with a darkened gaze.

Although they knew that other dragons would definitely kill Leo, letting him escape from their grasp was something to be ashamed of.

Without hesitation, they continued their attack on Grati and the other young man.

"You! Shit!" Grati cursed once again, "I'll show you not to mess with humans then!" he growled and then waved the fan in his hand.

They rapidly split into seven sharp rods which were hovering around him.

Grati was determined to kill all four half-dragons!

In a different place, a young man stared at what was in front of him with a faint smile.

He was finally about to defeat the final boss of the Reroll Dungeon game.

Axreal had been too engrossed in this game for the past days, sometimes forgetting to bathe, sleep, and even study the books given by the academy.

However, he didn't care.

As long as he could complete the game, he was willing to die with a smile.

The battle was getting intense.

Received fatal strike.

The line of words was displayed in front of the screen…

He was only mere seconds from killing the final boss and taking the trophy for himself.

This was a game that very few people had won.

However, no one had won it in record time like him.

As an avid gamer, he loved setting records.

Just then…

Bang!

A loud crash resounded.

His room door was blasted apart and the fragments of the wood embedded themselves into the television display, destroying the television.

Crash!

Axreal heard a crash sound as the television could no longer sustain itself.

Along with the sound, it was his heart that had crashed as well.

Axreal fell silent.

The whole room was silent…

It was as if the whole world had grown still…

Axreal slowly raised his terrifying bloodshot eyes to stare at the door.

There, ten half-dragons were gathered…

"You have broken my… heart…"
