Only I Awaken The Forbidden SSS-Rank Dragons

Chapter 49: Imprisoned? You Dare?

The outside world was far from peaceful.

All over the world, the phrase "Congratulations to the father of dragons" was continuously replayed ten consecutive times. This repetitive announcement sent a powerful wave of shock and disbelief rippling through every nation, faction, and organization.

The most astonishing part of all was the never-before-seen feat of completing the tenth level within a single minute.

Thinking about it, the power demonstrated was overwhelmingly strong and absolutely overpowered.

There were only two words that could describe someone capable of such an extraordinary feat, because it was not something an ordinary summon could ever achieve.

Origin ability.

The whole world understood immediately that whoever the father of dragons was, he had most likely awakened an extremely powerful origin ability.

At this thought, forces all over the world could no longer remain calm.

Awakening a very powerful origin ability was something that every faction desired desperately.

They had missed out on Axel, but they could not afford to miss out on the father of dragons.

Within a particular secret organization filled with people who had abandoned all morality, the atmosphere was thick with tension and ambition.

"We have to get this father of dragons," the leader declared. "If we can obtain his origin genes, we will be able to perfect Experiment Zero. By fusing it with the abominable genes we've managed to gather so far, we will create a unique creature that can rule the world without question."

The man who spoke had curly brown hair, and his glasses fit him perfectly, but his expression was like that of a mad scientist consumed by crazed ambition.

In the room, six others gathered, their appearances varying greatly.

A young man tapped lightly on the table before speaking in a calm voice.

"We have sent spies to every city present. Now, all we can do is wait for the news. I have told the spies to test the strength of anyone who emerges from the tower. That way, when the father of dragons reveals his true strength, we can be certain he is the one."

Hearing the words of the tall youth, the others nodded in agreement with his plan.

A lady seated not too far away crossed her arms and frowned deeply.

"Is no one dwelling on the main issue here?"

The tall man tapped lightly on the table and asked, "Which is?"

The lady exhaled slowly, then said in a solemn voice, "The name—the father of dragons. Do you really think someone with no knowledge of dragons could come up with such a name?"

The mad scientist from before laughed, speaking in a joking tone. "Alger, don't tell me you think dragons can actually come back to life. How amusing. Are you stupid, or just playing dumb?"

Hearing the mad scientist's words, the lady sighed for a moment, then fell silent.

Since they did not want to believe her, she would not press the matter further.

She had consistently told them that an origin esper under her command had fought someone who possessed a creature similar to the dragons depicted in myths, but they refused to believe her.

The tall youth also noticed her thoughts and said, "Alger, you should know how cataclysmic dragons are. If even a single dragon existed in this world, just a flap of its wings would be enough to wipe us all out."

After stating this, he changed the topic back to what they were previously discussing.

The others sneered and disdained Alger for thinking dragons could possibly awaken.

After bonding with Veldora, Aleron turned to the shimmering silver portal in front of him.

With Veldora resting on his shoulders and Ashkar walking just right beside him, he calmly stepped into the portal.

Upon entering, he felt a strange sensation, then vanished, appearing back at the gate of the tower.

The moment Aleron appeared, he was met with ten pairs of eyes.

Origin experts.

Aleron immediately understood their strength.

The origin experts turned to Aleron, scrutinizing him for a moment.

Seeing his tattered clothes, they gave up on the idea that he could be the father of dragons.

However, at that moment, their gazes landed on the dragon behind him and the one on his shoulder.

"Two contracted summons? An origin ability?"

Everyone in the origin world knew it was very common to possess a single summon; however, contracting two or more summons required one to have an origin ability.

One of the guards heard the voice of his comrade and added, "According to orders, we are to prioritize those with origin abilities, locking them up immediately and transporting them to headquarters for examination!"

The ten guards nodded in unison.

One of them stepped forward and, as he did, spoke to Aleron.

"Young kid, obediently let yourself be imprisoned if you don't want us to use force!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a crack appeared beside all ten of them.

From within the cracked portal, various beasts emerged into the air.

The beasts had varying auras.

One slithered like a snake, constantly changing colors to blend with the surroundings.

Another looked like an icy lion that radiated a chilling cold.

There was also another one that seemed like a wolf, growling repeatedly.

Aleron's eyes squinted.

"What the hell is going on?" he asked.

The guards did not answer his question.

"Young man, do not resist if you don't want us to use force to imprison you."

"Imprison me?" Aleron sneered. "Who gave you the right to imprison me?"

As he spoke, he activated the Abyssal Eyes, causing a terrifying pressure to descend onto the guards.

Immediately, their knees nearly buckled, and they struggled not to fall.

However, their beasts released their own auras and pressures, countering Aleron's Abyssal Eyes.

In the end, Aleron's Abyssal Eyes were only at the first level; they were far from being as strong as his Infernal Eyes.

Seeing that it did not work, Aleron let out a breath.

His energy began revolving slowly.

The guards and their beasts were moving cautiously toward him, seeing that Aleron showed signs of resisting.

Aleron turned around and placed Veldora on the ground, patting her head lightly.

He answered the question she had previously asked.

"Yes, daughter, you always have to use violence to resolve everything."

He then looked at Ashkar.

"Ashkar, let's fuse."
