Chapter 15: Chapter 14 Kaidon Gathering Forces

In a clearing deep within a dense forest, the air buzzed with energy. The Kaido Pirates, along with three subordinate pirate crews, reveled in chaotic celebration. Nearly 400 pirates drank, shouted, and toasted under the dim light of a makeshift camp. The atmosphere was electric, a bubbling cauldron of ambition and recklessness.

At the center of it all sat **Kaido**, the future "King of Beasts," though still in his youth. His imposing figure already hinted at the monster he would one day become. Slender yet muscular, his black hair cascaded over his shoulders, framing a face marked by determination and raw fury. Two curved horns jutted from his head like the tusks of a mythical beast, and a long, dragon-like beard added to his fearsome visage. Tattoos resembling dragon scales curled along his left arm, gleaming faintly in the firelight.

Kaido sat cross-legged, a purple jacket draped around his waist and gold chains hanging from his leather pants. His eyes were sharp, burning with ambition as he looked over his growing army. Around him sat three of his strongest subordinates—Zoan Devil Fruit users whose hulking frames exuded power. Each was a captain of their respective crews, and all had bounties exceeding 70 million berries.

"Boss Kaido, are we seriously planning to attack Whitebeard's territory?" asked **Bear Green**, the captain of the Bear Pirates. His voice was tinged with hesitation. The other captains nodded in agreement, their faces betraying unease.

Kaido's laughter boomed like thunder. "What? Afraid of an old man?"

Bear Green frowned but pressed on, "Whitebeard isn't just any old man. His power is unmatched, and his crew… They aren't the kind we can handle. Not now."

Kaido leaned forward, his golden eyes glinting with amusement. "Whitebeard's hands are full," he said confidently. "That fool Golden Lion has been clashing with him for weeks. Whitebeard doesn't have the time or the men to deal with us raiding some insignificant patch of land."

The other captains exchanged uncertain glances. **Kaido**, still in his twenties but already commanding a bounty of 240 million berries, was undeniably a rising star. His potential was what had drawn these men to his banner, yet his audacity and lack of restraint made them wary.

Kaido slammed a massive fist into the ground, silencing their murmurs. "The old guard is falling apart! Roger, Whitebeard, and Golden Lion won't last forever. The new world is coming, and I intend to stand at its peak!" His voice grew louder, his words fueled by ambition. "If you're too scared to follow me, then leave now. But don't expect mercy when I rise above them all!"

Bear Green and the other captains fell silent. While their minds screamed caution, their hearts could not deny the magnetic pull of Kaido's charisma.

**Meanwhile, at the Edge of the Island**

Aizen stepped off his small sloop, his Zanpakutō sheathed at his side. He surveyed the island with a calculated gaze. The bustling marketplace near the shore offered a glimpse into the lives of its people—simple, unprotected, and fearful. It wasn't long before snippets of conversation reached his ears.

"Another pirate ship docked yesterday."

"Kaido's men have been coming in droves. What could they want here?"

"Whatever it is, it can't be good for us."

Aizen smirked. The threads of Kaido's movements were slowly coming together. His eyes drifted to the dense forest where he sensed faint ripples of spiritual energy.

"So, Kaido has gathered his forces here," Aizen mused aloud. His voice carried a quiet confidence. "An assembly of beasts, drunk on power and ambition. How utterly predictable."

He walked calmly through the village, his presence drawing curious stares. It wasn't long before whispers about the stranger in a navy-blue cloak spread among the locals.

Aizen paid them no mind. Instead, he made his way toward the forest, his steps deliberate. The faint hum of Reiatsu surrounded him, a subtle but undeniable aura that hinted at the storm he would soon unleash.

**Back in the Forest**

Kaido took another swig from his massive jug, the liquor dripping down his chin. "Prepare yourselves," he barked, rising to his feet. "We'll strike tomorrow. Today, drink your fill!"

The pirates roared in approval, their cheers echoing through the forest.

Unbeknownst to them, a figure was already approaching. Calm, composed, and cloaked in shadows, Aizen stepped into the edge of their encampment, his presence as subtle as a whisper yet as undeniable as a rising tide.

"Kaido of the Beasts," Aizen said, his voice cutting through the revelry. It was neither loud nor forceful, but it silenced the entire gathering in an instant.

Kaido turned, his golden eyes locking onto Aizen. For a moment, there was silence, a clash of wills between two rising powers.

"And who the hell are you?" Kaido demanded, a grin spreading across his face.

Aizen smiled softly, his eyes glinting with an otherworldly light. "Just a man who has come to test the strength of a beast."

The tension in the clearing became palpable, the gathered pirates instinctively reaching for their weapons.

Kaido laughed, a deep, booming sound. "You've got guts, I'll give you that. But let's see if you've got the strength to match it!"

The air around Aizen shifted, his Reiatsu flaring for a brief moment. The weaker pirates staggered under the oppressive force, their instincts screaming at them to run.

"I'll show you," Aizen said, his tone calm yet commanding. "That ambition without discipline is nothing but a fleeting dream."

The clearing erupted into chaos as Kaido lunged forward, his laughter echoing through the forest. The clash of two titanic forces was about to begin.
