Chapter 12: Travel to Naples
The sky cleared up.
The warm sunlight shone down on the earth once again.
Surrounded by everyone, Jon recounted his experiences of the past few days, leaving Joseph and the others stunned.
"OMG! Another world? Impel Down? Whitebeard Pirates? Are you kidding me!"
"Unbelievable, the true ability of the 'door' is actually to travel to other worlds?"
"But when you think about it, since Dio and Jotaro can stop time, it's not so hard to accept that Jon can go to other worlds."
"That's true."
"But damn, why isn't my 'Silver Chariot' as cool as Jon's Stand? I really want to see the girls from other worlds!"
"Woof woof woof!"
Stands came in various forms, and their abilities were numerous.
Although traveling to different worlds sounded intimidating, its practical utility might not be as significant as Jotaro's time stop ability.
However, Suzi Q solemnly warned Jon not to use this ability again.
Jon readily agreed outwardly, but deep down, he didn't take it seriously.
Rowing without oars.
Relying solely on the waves!
He wasn't one to stay quiet and obedient.
After a pause, Jon spoke up, "By the way, I remember something."
The usually silent Jotaro suddenly interjected, "It's the 'arrow,' right?"
"As expected of my great nephew~"
Jon gave a thumbs up.
Jotaro's eyelid twitched.
Clearing his throat, Jon continued, "Yes, that's exactly what I want to talk about. When I was shot by Dio, my Stand evolved, and I saw some fragmented scenes in my hallucination.
"The 'arrows' aren't just one, there are six!"
Six arrows! Wait.
After Jon absorbed the 'Beetle Arrow,' there were only five left.
Joseph and the others couldn't help but look grave.
Dio had control of one 'arrow' and almost completed the 'human capturing' plan. If the remaining five 'arrows' fell into the wrong hands, wouldn't it spell disaster for this world?
This must not happen! Joseph made a quick decision.
"I'll go to Speedwagon Foundation now and have them keep an eye out for clues about the 'arrows.'"
With money in hand, you stood tall.
As the helm of the Speedwagon Foundation and a real estate tycoon, the old man wielded considerable power.
Unexpectedly, Jon shook his head.
"No need to bother. I know the whereabouts of the other 'arrows.'"
"What! Jon, is this true?"
Joseph was overjoyed.
"Stand users are attracted to each other, and the holders of the 'arrows' can sense each other's locations."
Jon spoke seriously, "I can feel one of the 'arrows' in Naples."
Naples, Italy!
Polnareff was impatient by nature.
Upon hearing Jon's words, he didn't hesitate to snap his fingers, "Alright, our next stop is Italy!"
Avdol added, "Looks like we need to prepare in advance."
"Wait a minute!"
With several big men discussing fervently, Suzi Q became anxious.
"From what I'm hearing, are you going to Italy again?"
Without waiting for Joseph and the others to respond, she shook her head repeatedly, "No, absolutely not!"
Jon's incident directly triggered PTSD in the old lady.
As happy as she was to have a son in her old age, losing him was equally heartbreaking.
In this messed-up world, she'd rather see anyone else save the world as long as it wasn't her precious son.
"Hey, old lady, what are you saying!"
Joseph frowned.
At that moment, Holy frowned, "Dad, Jotaro and Kakyoin are still preparing for their entrance exams. Please don't involve these two good boys in such matters anymore!"
Good boys? Ah, the filter of motherly love is terrifying indeed!
Sis, didn't you see how ruthless your son can be when he's ORA ORA-ing someone?
Jon smirked and decisively chose to remain silent.
"I don't need your interference in what I'm going to do," Jotaro glanced at Holy indifferently.
Polnareff jumped in to ease the tension, "Come on, Jon, Aunt Holy is just looking out for us."
"Exactly, students should act like students, not engage in fighting all the time. Jotaro, go back to studying."
Polnareff waved his hand, "You don't need to worry about anything else."
"That's settled then. Jotaro will go back to Japan to study, and Jon will stay home with me!"
Suzi Q spoke with a pout.
"Enough, old hag! When I was Jon's age..."
Joseph bickered childishly with his wife.
"When you were Jon's age, you lost a hand, and it was me who took care of you!"
As an old married couple, they weren't as affectionate as they were in their younger years.
Jon's head was pounding from listening to them and he shouted, "Enough, stop arguing!"
The room fell silent instantly.
"Anyway, Jotaro and Kakyoin will go back to Morioh with Holy. Searching for the whereabouts of the 'arrows' needed a few but not too many. Old man, you stay home and spend more time with mom. Polnareff, Avdol, and I will go to Italy."
Suddenly, he seemed to remember something.
"Iggy, do you want to stay or come with us?"
Hearing this, the Boston Terrier lying at Jon's feet weakly raised its head, "Woof."
"Alright, then you stay."
Jon shrugged.
"See, everything is perfectly resolved."
Perfectly my ass! Except for Polnareff, Avdol, Holy, and Iggy, everyone else protested.
"Hey, what's the meaning of telling me to go back to studying?"
"Jon, please don't go on risky adventures again, I'm begging you!"
"I can actually help you guys."
"OMG, I refuse to stay with this menopausal crazy lady!"
"Who are you calling a menopausal crazy lady?"
"Whoever responds is the menopausal crazy lady!"
"You old fart! Forget about getting into bed with me tonight!"
Jon was dumbfounded.
Communicating with these people felt more exhausting than battling against Magellan.
Three days later, Italy, Naples Airport.
"Phew, finally here."
Polnareff stretched lazily and looked at Avdol beside him.
"Hey, Avdol, do you know what the specialty cuisine of Italy is?"
"Hmph, trying to stump me with that question, Polnareff, you're too naive." Avdol raised a finger, "Listen up, the most characteristic cuisine of Italy is..."
"Pizza and pasta, right."
Jon interjected at an inappropriate time.
Avdol: ...
"Alright, we're not here for sightseeing vacation. I finally managed to pacify my stubborn mom. We need to get down to business."
Jon waved his hand.
"Let's go, let's go to the hotel for some rest first, and then we'll have some pizza and pasta."
After all that, weren't we still just sightseeing on vacation? Polnareff and Avdol silently complained in their minds.
