One Piece:Becoming the King of the World from the Rocks Era

Chapter 212: Chapter 212: “Overlord Body”

However, the Sword God Body Refinement Technique was crafted specifically for Li Yuan's unique physique and wasn't suitable for others. The technique required the use of various acupoints, a concept entirely absent in the pirate world. After examining the bodies of others, he realized only he could locate the specific acupoints within himself, making the technique impossible for anyone else to learn.

Eventually, he simplified the Sword God Body Refinement Technique, adapting it into a haki-based body-strengthening technique accessible to everyone in the pirate world. Though not as potent as the original, it still surpassed the highest-level haki body-strengthening techniques available.

He named this simplified version Overlord Body.

The Overlord Body technique had five levels, targeting the skin, muscle, tendons, bones, and internal organs, respectively. Li Yuan taught each of these levels to his officers.

Unlike Li Yuan, who could strengthen his entire body with haki, others usually focused on one or two body parts. For instance, Chinjao's pointed head involved a combination of skin and muscle reinforcement, but lacked bone reinforcement. Otherwise, when his head was flattened, his skull would have shattered, likely killing him.

"Captain, thank you so much!" Chinjao exclaimed, clutching Li Yuan's leg in joy. "I've decided—the Happo Navy will join the Infinite Pirates. We'll leave only a few recruits behind in the Land of Flowers, and the rest will follow you. I'll also contribute most of the wealth we've amassed over generations, keeping only a small portion for my descendants and offering the rest to you."

Li Yuan's gift of the Overlord Body technique meant the world to Chinjao, who feared losing his pointed head again, as it was the source of much of his strength.

"No need to give me all your treasure. Half is enough," Li Yuan replied, waving off Chinjao's overly generous offer. Wealth was hardly an issue for him, and his fortunes would only grow over time. Accepting half of the Happo Navy's treasure was simply a gesture to reassure Chinjao.

Besides, Chinjao was now a valued officer within the Infinite Pirates. That wealth, accumulated over generations, wasn't something Li Yuan felt compelled to take entirely.

"Ah, Chinjao, meet Barrett. He's an officer in the Infinite Pirates, just like you, and a formidable fighter. The two of you should spar and learn from each other," Li Yuan said, gesturing to Barrett as Chinjao continued clinging to his leg.

"Hello, Chinjao. I'm Barrett. You're strong—let's have a match!" Barrett, ever direct, issued the challenge immediately.

"Haha! Excellent! I've wanted to test the strength of the 'Devil Titan's' fists!" Chinjao, eager for a chance to redeem himself after being defeated twice by Li Yuan, immediately released his grip on the captain's leg and locked eyes with Barrett.

In the previous battle, Barrett had displayed terrifying power, even though he wasn't yet at the level of the top fighters. But he had managed to kill a Marine admiral candidate and, alongside Ashura Doji, hold off Admiral Zephyr. This had earned him the Navy's nickname, the "Devil Titan."

"Come on, then! Let's see just how tough that head of yours really is!" Barrett, thrilled, led Chinjao to an open space to start their duel.

Unlike Li Yuan, Barrett wouldn't underestimate Chinjao. After all, even he doubted he could withstand a punch from their captain.

Li Yuan stayed in the Land of Flowers for another five days, setting up a covert branch of his Luowang network there, much like he had done in the Kingdom of Alex. Afterward, he and his crew, along with Chinjao and part of the Happo Navy, set sail.

Upon their return journey through the Calm Belt, they slipped back into the New World without alerting the World Government or Navy, who remained oblivious to their presence in their territory.

"Chinjao, I have something that will suit you perfectly—a Zoan-type Devil Fruit, the Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Ancient Model: Unicorn Dragon. This Devil Fruit will allow you to strengthen your pointed head with the horn of a unicorn dragon, making it even tougher. Plus, you'll gain the various physical boosts of an Ancient Zoan."

Upon returning to his territory, Li Yuan presented the Devil Fruit to Chinjao.

"Captain, you're too kind! This fruit is perfect for me!" Overcome with emotion, Chinjao once again clung to Li Yuan's leg, tears streaming down his face. He had never encountered anyone as generous as Li Yuan. Not only had he helped restore his pointed head and taught him the Overlord Body technique, but now he was offering a Devil Fruit that seemed tailor-made for him. Meeting Li Yuan, he thought, was the luckiest thing that had ever happened to him.

"Go on and eat it already, Chinjao," Li Yuan said with a slight grimace, realizing that the older pirate's displays of gratitude were beginning to test his patience.

"Yes, Captain!" Without hesitation, Chinjao devoured the Devil Fruit in just a few bites, showing no sign of disgust. Li Yuan briefly wondered if he had given him a fake fruit or if Chinjao had no sense of taste.

Roar! After swallowing the fruit, Chinjao transformed into a ten-meter-tall unicorn dragon before quickly reverting to human form and collapsing.

"Chinjao, go train with Barrett and work on mastering your hybrid form," Li Yuan instructed as he removed the Seastone cuffs from Chinjao's wrists. "Only then will you be able to fully merge your pointed head with the unicorn dragon's horn."

"Oh, and take this Gravity Homie," Li Yuan added. "Ask Barrett about it later."

"Thank you, Captain! I'll get started right away," Chinjao replied, eager to test the newfound toughness of his pointed head. He dashed off to find Barrett.

Later, Li Yuan visited the weapon factory in Wano Country to inspect its progress. Upon seeing him, Niu Lishan, the head blacksmith, eagerly ran over with a sword in hand, his excitement making him look like he was about to assault Li Yuan.

"Captain! Captain! I did it! Look—this is the weapon I forged!" Niu Lishan, with his bullish Minotaur appearance, practically shouted as he approached. Li Yuan couldn't ignore him if he tried.

"Oh? You succeeded in forging a Grade Blade?" Li Yuan took the sword from Niu Lishan's hands. It was a double-edged blade, closely resembling the Seven Star Sword in appearance—a replica of the original design.

However, this Grade Blade lacked any special abilities, serving purely as a sharp, durable weapon, much like the Grade Blade Wado Ichimonji that Zoro wielded in the original story. Unlike cursed swords like Enma or the Kitetsu series, it bore no distinct will of its own and could be used by anyone.

"Yes, Captain! This is the Grade Blade I forged!" Niu Lishan said with pride. Three years ago, he had mastered the art of crafting fine blades, and now, after three more years, he had reached the skill level required to forge Grade Blades—an achievement seldom seen in the history of Wano.

"Not bad. What's its name?" Li Yuan asked.

"I based it on your Seven Star Sword, Captain, so how about calling it the Second Generation Seven Star Sword?" Niu Lishan suggested excitedly.

"It doesn't quite deserve that name just yet. When you forge a sword with special abilities, akin to Enma or the Second Generation Kitetsu, then we'll consider that title. For now, I noticed a shimmering flow throughout the blade—why don't we call it Liuguang (Flowing Light)?" Li Yuan said.

After all, even the Second Generation Kitetsu possessed a powerful cursed aura. To name a lesser blade "Second Generation Seven Star Sword" would undermine the legacy of his own Seven Star Sword.

"Great! Your names are always fitting, Captain," Niu Lishan replied cheerfully.

"Since when did you learn to flatter?" Li Yuan chuckled, patting Niu Lishan on the shoulder. "This achievement shows your skills have advanced, so I'll double your salary. Keep it up—I hope you can forge a Supreme Grade Blade one day!"

Li Yuan felt that Niu Lishan had true potential as a master blacksmith. Within five years, he had progressed from a regular smith to someone capable of forging Grade Blades. Although some of this was due to Li Yuan's mentorship, his natural talent was undeniable.

"Thank you, Captain! I'll work even harder!" Niu Lishan responded, beaming with joy. His current salary already exceeded that of anyone else in the weapons factory, so the prospect of it doubling was thrilling.

Seeing that Niu Lishan was as earnest as ever, Li Yuan left the factory, pleased, with the Liuguang sword in hand.

After returning home, Li Yuan found that Yadina had come back specifically to discuss the expansion of their weapons factories with him.

"Dear, we need to expand the weapons factories and other facilities. Should we build on the current site?" Yadina asked.

"No, let's not concentrate everything in one place. As our operations continue to grow, it's wiser to spread them out. Find a secluded island in the Calm Belt close to our territory to set up the new factories. We shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket," Li Yua

n replied thoughtfully.

He wanted to avoid keeping everything in Wano or the Infinite Sea,
