Boom! Boom! Boom!

The mountain peaks shattered under the force of the Black Dragon Acnologia's roar. Gildarts, hearing the dragon's cry, trembled uncontrollably.

"Is this a joke?"

"Such destructive power!"

He knew this monster was unbeatable. The only option was to flee. The Black Dragon Acnologia casually moved, destroying a large swathe of the land. He then saw Ian walking towards the dragon. What was he doing?

Did he intend to fight the dragon? Even if this kid was strong, around the level of a Wizard Saint, he couldn't possibly defeat the Black Dragon!

"Kid, don't do anything stupid!" Gildarts shouted, his face grim.

The Black Dragon Acnologia seemed to notice the tiny insect approaching.

Acnologia opened its massive maw, preparing to bite down on Ian.

However, Ian pressed his hand against the dragon's snout, and the seemingly unstoppable force of the dragon came to a halt. It was as if time itself had frozen.

Gildarts was stunned. He hadn't expected Ian to stop Acnologia.

Acnologia was also surprised. It had only been toying with Ian, but this seemingly stronger ant had actually stopped its attack. Perhaps it should play with it a little longer..

Roar! Acnologia roared, then swiped at Ian with its right claw. Ian, however, stood his ground, unmoving.

He clenched his left fist, gathering the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit. A white, transparent aura enveloped his fist, as if the very air were being compressed.

With a powerful swing, he struck Acnologia's claw.

Crack! Crack!

The disproportionate sizes of the fist and the claw didn't matter. The Black Dragon Acnologia was thrown off balance, its massive body crashing into several mountains before it finally came to a stop.

Gildarts was dumbfounded. He hadn't expected the kid to actually knock back the dragon. Acnologia, too, was stunned. It had actually been pushed back by a tiny insect.

Shame.

It was utter humiliation, like being tripped by an insect. Acnologia unfurled its wings and roared at the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The surrounding mountains crumbled under the force of its roar. Gildarts, anxious, shouted at Ian, "Be careful! He's serious now!"

Acnologia opened its jaws, aiming a bite at Ian. But its head froze in place just half a meter away, as if it had struck an invisible wall.

Crack! Crack!

Before Acnologia, right in front of Ian's fist, the air shattered, revealing visible cracks in space.

Acnologia was pushed back again, its sharp claws leaving deep gouges in the earth. Ian's fist slammed into its abdomen.

"Roar…!"

Acnologia howled in pain, its deafening cry echoing through the Zonia Alps.

Even Gildarts could sense the dragon's rage. This creature, feared by countless nations and mages, had been wounded by a demon.

Acnologia roared again, the sound alone forming a shockwave.

But as the shockwave reached Ian, it simply dissipated.

Boom!

Acnologia stomped its hind legs, launching itself into the air. The ground shattered under the force of its movement. It then swooped down towards Ian, who leaped back, narrowly avoiding the attack.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Acnologia's tail slammed into the ground, creating a massive fissure. The sheer destructive power of the attack was terrifying.

"Hehehe… Interesting. I haven't met a demon as strong as you in a long time. This makes you worth killing!"

"Hmph!"

Ian gathered golden energy in his leg, then kicked out at the Black Dragon Acnologia's neck. The ground cracked under the force of his movement. He staggered slightly.

"Get on your knees!" He kicked again at Acnologia's neck. This time, the dragon couldn't hold its ground. Though it didn't fall completely, its knee and right claw touched the earth.

"…"

The Black Dragon Acnologia couldn't believe it. It had actually been forced to kneel before a demon.

"Demon, you're dead!"

Acnologia roared, its body radiating an immense draconic aura. A powerful shockwave erupted from the dragon.

Gildarts's eyes widened. This was unbelievable. Someone is actually fighting Acnologia. After a few exchanges, Ian had discovered that Acnologia's defense was incredibly high.

Its resistance to magic and Devil Fruit abilities was off the charts. Despite being on par with Im, its defense was simply too strong. Unless Ian used his Resurrección, he wouldn't be able to win.

"Roar!"

"Die, Demon!"

Acnologia roared, its body surrounded by black energy orbs. The orbs, however, were either dodged or deflected by Ian. Those that landed exploded with terrifying force. Ian quickly closed the distance, his right leg gathering golden particles of light.

"Speed is weight. Have you ever been kicked by the speed of light?" A survival instinct kicked in, and Acnologia shielded itself with its arms and wings, gathering its draconic power for defense.

"Light Speed Kick!"

A massive beam of light shot from Ian's leg, striking the Black Dragon Acnologia. The dragon roared in pain as it was sent flying, carving deep furrows in the earth.

Gildarts couldn't believe his eyes. Acnologia, the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse, was being overpowered. If the Black Dragon were so easily defeated, would it still be called Acnologia?

Acnologia was clearly injured, though not severely. Blood flowed from its wounds, and parts of its dark wings were torn. It was in a sorry state.

"Demon, you have angered me!"

The Black Dragon Acnologia's voice echoed through the sky. It was truly enraged. It had been over four hundred years since it had faced a worthy opponent. It had intended to play with Ian, but now it realized that Ian possessed the power to actually harm it. It had even felt a hint of mortal danger..

"Wooaaah!"

"So loud!"

Gildarts covered his ears, overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of Acnologia's roar. The sound alone was enough to create a shockwave. This monster was beyond comprehension. The world seemed to fall silent.

Islands, trees, the ground, the air, the sea… everything trembled.

Acnologia roared at the sky, its body radiating immense magical power. Black energy surged upwards, altering the very weather.

The black energy seemed to give the dragon's massive form a radiant sheen. The ground cracked and shattered under the pressure. The immense magical power even seemed to defy gravity, causing boulders to levitate around Acnologia.

"Hum!"

Ian's fist was once again enveloped in a white aura, which he continuously amplified. Acnologia charged towards Ian, its left claw, now infused with immense magic power, swiping at him.

Crack! Crack!

The power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit and the Shock-Shock Fruit erupted. The space around his fist shattered, forming a web of cracks five meters in diameter, resembling a mage's magic circle. The power of tremor and shock collided with the dragon's claw.

Shatter!

The sound of bones breaking echoed through the air. The Black Dragon Acnologia howled in pain. Its left foreleg was twisted at an unnatural angle, white bone jutting out, dragon blood flowing freely.

Gildarts was stunned.

Acnologia, the harbinger of the apocalypse, had been… broken? The Black Dragon Acnologia actually retreated!

It wasn't forced back by an attack, but had actively chosen to retreat. Its posture, its gaze… everyone could see it clearly. Acnologia was confused. What was this feeling? It was so familiar, something it had seen countless times in the eyes of others.

"Fear… I'm afraid? Me, the Dragon King, afraid of a Puny Demon? Impossible…"

Acnologia reared back, letting out a deafening roar. Then, flapping its wings, it took to the sky.

"It's flying away?"

"Did he… win?"

But then, they realized that Acnologia had stopped in mid-air, hovering above them. It opened its mouth, assuming the posture of unleashing a Dragon's Breath.

"It's a Breath Attack…"

Gildarts recognized the stance. His own guild had two Dragon Slayers. This was the stance they took when unleashing their roars, like Natsu's Fire Dragon's Roar or Laxus's Lightning Dragon's Roar.

They were incredibly destructive spells. And the Black Dragon Acnologia's roar would undoubtedly be even more terrifying. Perhaps the entire Zonia Alps would be erased from existence.

Ian's expression shifted slightly. He could evade using his light-speed movement, but Gildarts couldn't. He still had a fondness for this carefree, flirtatious man.

He didn't want him to die by dragon fire.

So, Ian stood his ground, his fingers interlocked…

Above them, a gigantic magic circle formed before the Black Dragon Acnologia's mouth. A terrifying beam of dark energy descended from the heavens, like a nuclear explosion, blindingly bright. The mountains trembled, a catastrophic explosion erupting across the Zonia Alps. A black beam of annihilation rained down.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A nuclear-like explosion consumed the Zonia Alps. The ground erupted, forming a massive mushroom cloud. Then, the light faded, revealing the destruction.

A vast portion of the mountain range had vanished, replaced by a colossal crater. The Black Dragon Acnologia, seemingly unsatisfied, circled in the air, unleashing several more magic blasts.

Then, it finally departed, spreading its wings and disappearing into the horizon.

Gildarts could hear the sound of collapsing mountains and falling rocks. Even with his eyes closed, the light was blindingly bright. He waited for the pain to come, but it never did.

He cautiously opened his eyes, and what he saw would forever be etched in his memory.

The Zonia Alps, with its hundreds of peaks, had been almost entirely leveled, except for the very edges. And at the center of the range, a gigantic, transparent barrier stood, blocking the path of destruction.

Atop the barrier stood a young man in a pair of black pants & t-shirt. a skull mask covering his face, his pale green eyes seemingly glowing..

Did this world have Gods? Yes, it did. He had seen one.

Months Later.

Gildarts's reputation soared across the continent of Ishgar. He had completed a Hundred-Year Quest, a feat deemed impossible even for a Wizard Saint.

The Kingdom of Fiore offered him the vacant position of Wizard Saint, but the free-spirited Gildarts declined. However, he was clear that it wasn't him. Everyone knew it wasn't him.

The tale of "One Man, Two Monsters" spread far and wide, bolstering the reputation of the Fairy Tail Guild. Many believed that a guild capable of nurturing such individuals could achieve anything. It was rumored that even in the battle between a god and the Dragon King, he had survived.

And so, images of Ian began to circulate throughout the Kingdom of Fiore. Everyone wanted to find this god who could defeat the Dragon King. Countless young women, drawn to his strength and mystique, fell for him. His pale skin, his striking green eyes, the distinctive tear marks… his alluring, almost demonic charm captivated them, even from just images.

But they couldn't find him. He had already left the continent of Ishgar. The Black Dragon Acnologia had escaped, and Ian was determined to follow its trail. He knew that if he gathered the five Dragon Slayers and extracted the dragons within them, it might lure Acnologia out. But he wasn't in a hurry. He wanted to explore this new world.

Following him was God Serena, one of the Spriggan 12 and formerly the strongest Wizard Saint, known as the "Hybrid Theory" for his eight Dragon Slayer Lacrimas. He had gone to the Western Continent.

His departure left many feeling uneasy, a sense of impending crisis.
