One Piece : The Blood Emperor

Luke stared at the man in front of him with mixed emotions. He finally met the man who relocated him into the world of One Piece.

Based on what he knew, this man is a fictional character.

Although he felt weird being in a new environment, he embraced the changes long ago since everything is surreal. It's just that everyone including himself are abnormal in a fantastical way.

Having to wield such incredible prowess made him so much addicted to the point he almost forgotten who he really was. Fortunately for him, he is still holding on to his ultimate priority - and that is to return to his previous world and save his daughter from imminent danger.

"We meet at last. Anyway, apologies for the late introduction. You should probably know who I am by now." The man grinned.

"Well yeah. But, according to my memories.. you are a villain." Luke frowned. It's not that he's cautious about this man but he just felt weird about it.

After retiring from being an assassin, he wrapped everything in his past and indulged himself in reading various stories just to cope up with what he missed in his childhood days while becoming a stay-home dad. Of course he can't fully attend to his daughter alone since he knows little to none on how to raise a kid so he hired a nanny.

He once watched a popular movie and this man in front of him appeared to be a villain, a very edgy villain. He sometimes wants to annihilate everything in his path without remorse or become a messiah that saves everyone from extinction.

But ultimately, he became a good man that saves an infinite number of worlds by sacrificing himself for the greater cause or that's what he initially thought.

A work of fiction and yet this man was grinning in front of him, alive and well.

"Being a villain was just an old hobby of mine." The man only chuckled as he reminisced about his past self.

"Right.." Luke didn't believe the man at all. If the other party's mood change, he'd be in a world of pain - probably sent to the deepest layer of hell.

He took a deep breath and continued, "Then what am I here in your yard? You know I have an urgent matter in my previous world."

Power and wealth are less attractive to him now that he became a father. His daughter now is his only reason he's still sane and calm.

All his life searching and plotting for revenge while bounded by solitary. To be devoured by the dark made him numb but also terrified.

After he exact his revenge, nothing remains in him. He has no will to move on, no reason to live. Existing like a shell.

Until he met his little angel.

Right now, he needed answers from this man - but more like a hope.

"You don't need to fret or rush anything. There's a time difference between your world and mine. Billions of years past here while your world may only spend a single second. You have all the time in my world that I assure you." The man replied with a shrug of his shoulder. He squinted his eyes, "You are here because I'm offering you a chance."

Hearing this, Luke heaved a sigh in relief. At least his daughter is safe.

Truth be told, even if he immediately returns to his previous world as a mortal, it may not end well for his daughter. He may still have hidden enemies and already one of them got his daughter as a hostage.

As a man having old wounds, he can't guarantee a happy ending for both of them.

"You see, I created this world based on your memories. Quite fascinating characters I must say." The man smiled. However, his smile has a hint of mischief.

"I've noticed it too." Luke nodded in agreement. He already noticed that characters outside One Piece originals are mixing in this world.

"Although this so-called One Piece world was based on your memories, from what I know based on the memories of your peers, it's not so accurate at all. However, I let that slide. It's not that big of a deal anyway. It's just that, I also made some changes." The man said while teasing Luke.

Luke appeared confused. Maybe he himself is wrong, maybe he's right. But this world is indeed to his liking.

"You mean changes like other anime characters appearing in this world? I can accept that. But why the hell did you put that one puncher in this world as a marine? That guy is too unfair." He complained. Indeed that one puncher doesn't work with logic.

"That baldy guy? Heh.. Just play your cards right. And yeah that changes too, but other changes as well, everything here is my original work. In short, I've already adjusted everything for my own entertainment. You just need to brace yourself tight on what's coming next.." The man made an eerie laugh. His eyes were shining with expectation.

Luke felt a chill down his spine. He was right. Nothing good news that came from this man's mouth. However, he kinda like this challenge. He asked, "Fine. What do I need to do then? I can return to my own world after finishing my task here, right?"

He may have felt some changes he already encountered. Like hollows visible to human eyes, Dr. Kureha's understanding of the world - meaning mixed stories and origins are already implemented in this world, etc.

"You, existing here is the mission itself. But of course follow the right trajectory of the One Piece storyline." The man squinted his eyes. He continued with a playful tone, "Interfering too much in advance may lead to some major changes. Changes that are starting to brew a new.. chaos."

Luke felt uneasy by the news. He caused too much commotion already in the new world. Not to mention he gathered dozens of Devil Fruits all over the place. Butterfly effect? No. This is probably poking a hornet's nest already. Not to mention there are still powerhouses still hidden in this world he never knew.

Who can blame him anyway? He entered this world without a welcoming party. He might as well stir things up to his own benefit.

"One more thing in your mission. Never let your Captain die. He's the 'anchor being' in this world. If he dies, this world also dies while you will fail the mission and perish into nothingness, that means you're not the protagonist of this world." The man clarified.

"I'm still confused. You want me to explore this world and finish the storyline together with Luffy and the crew? Why..? I get that you may find entertainment in this endeavor, but don't you think it's a bit off?" Luke frowned.

"You think too much. Think of your presence here as vacation. I need you to stay in my domain for a period of time, maybe a few years at the least. While here, you need to adapt everything you receive and become stronger."

"As for your powers, I must say you did a great job utilizing your abilities." The man waved his hand to ease Luke of his worries. It was as if he's evading the question.

Luke squinted his eyes but remained silent. In essence, he became this man's hostage for some devious plot.

But then, he has many time to ponder over this matter anyway. He might as well take advantage of this old villain.

He shook his head, "This power of mine is like a double-edged sword. I get a backlash in my soul every time I overexerts my abilities. Fortunately, I ate a Devil Fruit to mend my starving soul power. Can't you change my power into an overpowered one? Make me a Saiyan, a Superman or maybe a one puncher."

"Your power is already fixed with no negotiations allowed. But since I appeared late, I can do three things for you as compensation." The man said with a smile.

"First, I will add a new feature of your power. Discover it yourself,maybe it's worth the compensation. Second, since you created a Special Homie called Frankenstein, I will modify him and turn him into a real human. Plus, he can also use his old abilities in his original story including his weapon called Dark Spear. And since you can upgrade him as you grow stronger, it will be a win-win situation for you."

Luke was a bit surprised. He created Frankenstein to be his personal butler since he himself closely resembles the guy named Cadis Etrame Di Raizel in face and power. Anyway, it's a good thing for him since a golden Frankenstein is too obvious to those who are familiar with Big Mom's power. It can be a great convenience for him to avoid suspicion and unnecessary troubles.

What he expected the most is the new feature of his power. He wondered what it was. He's hoping this new feature can be more overpowered than he already envisioned.

His eyes shone bright and asked, "What's the third?"

"Glad you asked." The man chuckled lightly. He continued, "The third one is an entry ticket."

Luke became confused for a second there. What ticket he needed for? Pinkblack concert or something?

"This ticket allows you to enter my universe, my main origin story to be precise. I see that you are searching for power upgrades. My universe is your best platform to run wild and clean up some trashes along the way. But remember, once you exit my universe, there's no returning back again and this ticket will disappear forever." The man flipped his hand and a small plain golden ticket floated towards Luke.

Luke subconsciously received the ticket in a daze. This third gift pack is the best one he receives so far. This is too good to be true. How could this man so generous and slaps him with so many benefits one after another?

"Uh... What are the terms and conditions of using this ticket? Can I bring someone to your universe? What will happen to this world or my previous world if I go there?"

Luke punched the man with a bunch of questions one after another. Although the other party's universe is very dangerous, in fact too dangerous because of those hidden entities beyond comprehension, he still wants to give it a try and stir things up. As they say, you only live once, why not break your own limits.

The man rolled his eyes from Luke's show of enthusiasm.

And so, a few rounds of discussions happened between the two men.

A few minutes later...

"Let's have a happy cooperation this time. I'm hoping the next time we meet is your mission success and not your funeral." The man shook hands with Luke as he smiled.

"Alright. When my mission ends here, I'll be able to return home and reunite with my daughter as per our deal. Also, my private affairs are off limits too if you know what I mean."

Luke just pretended not to hear any more pretentious lies and bade his farewell. Entertainment? Entertainment my ass! This man is clearly plotting something from him. And whatever it is, it's his problem to solve in the future.

After the man sent Luke out of the separate realm, his smiley face became expressionless. Then, a few seconds later, he smiled again. However this time, his smile was full of mischief.

"To actually... uncover such an... entity."
