One Piece: Take the Uchiha Clan to the Grand Line

Chapter 163: Golden Lion's true Target

-----

Humiliation. Absolute humiliation!

To think he had been pushed down like that!

For Uchiha Kitaro, this was only his second woman. If there was a third or fourth, he began to wonder if he'd even manage to keep up. He might actually need supplements at this rate.

Gion lay against Kitaro's arm, her fingers tracing circles on his chest. "Don't worry," she purred. "I'll take responsibility for you. From now on, you're my man."

Smack!

Kitaro gave her a sharp slap on her voluptuous a**.

"Ah!" Gion yelped, her voice a mix of surprise and delight.

"Who needs your responsibility?" Kitaro said, his tone firm. "If anyone's taking responsibility, it's me. You are my woman."

He had to admit—Gion was a completely different flavor from Hancock. Hancock was a powerhouse in public but a soft, tender woman in private. Gion, on the other hand, was a fierce, commanding Navy vice-admiral in public but seductively enchanting to her very core behind closed doors. A woman like that could bring unparalleled satisfaction and pride to any man.

Hearing Kitaro's words, Gion's gaze softened, her eyes brimming with affection.

Kitaro recognized that look all too well. Once again, his irresistible charm had completely captivated another woman. He wasn't surprised. As the perfect being, his allure was practically otherworldly. It was as though he exuded a unique magnetism, drawing women closer the longer they were around him.

Gion had spent six months in his company. Vice Admiral Tsuru, who had sent her to monitor him, would probably never imagine that her "little rabbit" had fallen completely under his spell—and now belonged to him, heart, body, and soul.

"Alright, enough fooling around. We've really arrived this time," Kitaro said, his tone shifting to business.

The two dressed quickly and stepped out of the cabin. Their ship had reached the port, where countless pirate ships were docked.

"So many pirates?!" Gion exclaimed, stunned by the sheer number.

Kitaro nodded, unfazed. "The Golden Lion may be a legendary pirate, but he's still got pull. Especially in these times when pirates run rampant, many who dream of greatness but lack the skill seek out someone with power and reputation. For them, aligning with someone like the Golden Lion is their best shot."

"Let's go," he continued. "If we manage to take down this many pirates in one sweep, the credit won't be small."

The two disembarked and followed the flow of pirates heading inland.

Floating Island: The Golden Lion's Palace

"Lord Shiki, it seems all the captains have arrived at the port," a subordinate reported.

The Golden Lion Shiki smirked with satisfaction. "Good. Once they're all up here, we'll set off. That fool Sengoku will never see it coming. He thinks I'm targeting the East Blue, so he's probably diverting more forces there, leaving Marineford vulnerable.

"What's the point of destroying the East Blue? It's the weakest sea and has little value since Roger's death. No, if I'm going to destroy something, it'll be Marineford!"

He grinned wickedly. "That brat, Uchiha Kitaro, gave me the perfect idea. His attack on Marineford made him infamous across the world. Now, I'll do the same—by obliterating the new Marineford!

"I'll show the world that the Golden Lion Shiki has returned! Wahahahahaha!"

"Brilliant, Lord Shiki!"

"Flatter me! I love it! Wahahahahaha!"

Kitaro and Gion blended in with the crowd, climbing higher toward the central island. After a while, they boarded a massive ship that carried them skyward.

What greeted them was an awe-inspiring sight: a cluster of floating islands suspended in the sky, with one enormous island at the center surrounded by smaller ones.

"These islands… Could they be…" Gion murmured.

She recalled reading reports about entire islands mysteriously vanishing. The news had stirred brief curiosity but was ultimately dismissed. The world was full of mysteries, and such disappearances weren't unheard of unless it involved a major location like Marineford itself.

Soon, the crowd disembarked on the largest floating island.

"Should we act now?" Gion asked.

"Not yet," Kitaro replied calmly. "Let's see what Shiki's planning first."

The central island housed a small town, with the Golden Lion's grand palace towering at its heart. Kitaro and Gion followed the pirates into the palace, where a massive banquet hall awaited, filled with lavishly prepared food.

Kitaro wasted no time, helping himself to the feast.

Gion, however, scanned the room, her brow furrowing. "There are at least 5,000 pirates here. What could Shiki possibly be planning with so many people? Does he intend to wage war?"

Her musings were interrupted by a voice nearby.

"Of course, it's war. A war to destroy the East Blue."

Gion and Kitaro turned toward the source—a pirate seated at the next table.

"You're new faces," the pirate said, eyeing them curiously. "Which crew are you with? You look unfamiliar."

Kitaro smiled easily. "We're with the recently-formed Night Rabbit Pirates. We're still small, so it's no surprise you haven't heard of us."

"A new crew, huh? You must be here to pledge allegiance to Lord Shiki like the rest of us."

"Exactly," Kitaro replied smoothly. "But we're curious—why has Lord Shiki gathered so many pirates?"

The pirate chuckled. "You really are green, aren't you? Let me enlighten you…"

He began explaining Shiki's grand plan, including the monstrous creatures Shiki had been breeding and the attacks on islands reported in the news. Those attacks were his doing, and he intended to unleash the creatures on the East Blue, devastating it entirely and forcing the World Government to its knees.

"After tonight's meeting, he plans to send the beasts to the East Blue," the pirate finished with a sinister grin.

Gion couldn't hold back. "That would lead to countless deaths!"

"Don't sweat the details. It's all for the greater good—making the World Government surrender," the pirate replied dismissively.

"We've really joined up with a legend, huh?" another pirate chimed in.

Suddenly, Kitaro spoke up. "No. Something doesn't add up."

"What do you mean?"

Kitaro's eyes narrowed. "This island… It's not heading toward the East Blue. It's moving toward Marineford."
