Chapter 3: Encounter

Great Grand Line Road

At the foot of Mount Geta of the Kingdom of Endless War. Locke led Barett and the other twenty young soldiers to the foot of the mountain after a challenging trek.

Locke quietly looked at the tall mountain range before him, his eyes calm as water. "Alright, we will reach our target in half a day. Now, find a place to rest. We will set off in the middle of the night."

Locke said to the twenty young soldiers behind him, then found a place to sit down and begin to rest. Barett slowly walked to Locke and lay down on the ground, exhausted.

"Hey, Locke, can we return alive on this mission?" Barett rested his head on his arm and looked up at the sky. He asked Locke in a sad tone. Locke's eyes flashed when he heard Barett's words. He quickly regained his calm.

"Barett, trust me and follow me firmly. In the entire sea, no one will be our match in the future, not to mention this small country destined to be destroyed by you and me. How could it leave us alive?"

Hearing Locke's firm words, Barett raised his head and looked at Locke's incomparably actual eyes. He grinned. "Hahahaha, Locke, you are as confident as before. But you are right; how could we die in this country destined to be destroyed by us!"

Barett stood up and walked to Locke. He reached out and placed his hand in front of Locke. Locke looked at Barett and reached out his hand to hold Barett tightly.

"Heh heh heh heh! Locke, and Barett, you two are daring. You want to destroy this country. You are so stupid that you make people want to laugh!" Suddenly, a mocking laugh entered Locke and Barett's ears.

Locke and Barett turned to look at the source of the voice at the same time. When they saw who it was, their expressions darkened simultaneously. "Hehehe, Locke, Barett, I didn't expect you to survive such a battle. This is truly surprising. However, your journey ends here!"

Gray laughed darkly. Then he waved his hand. Hundreds of soldiers appeared from all directions and surrounded Locke, Barett, and the remaining twenty young soldiers. The young soldiers who had seen Gray appear and had a bit of color on their faces immediately became numb and listless after hearing Gray's words.

Locke looked darkly at Gray and clenched his fists. "Damn it, Gray, do you know what you are doing! Attacking your people is a serious crime!" Locke's words that suppressed his anger entered Gray's ears. He immediately laughed again.

"Heh heh heh heh heh, Locke, everyone, don't scare anyone. You are dead today. Moreover, if you die here, no one will suspect me. After all, when I led the troops here, the headquarters received the news that all of you died!"

Hearing Gray's words, Locke instantly fell silent. He slowly pulled the sword at his waist and looked darkly at the arrogant, arrogant, and vain Gray. Locke knew that this battle was unavoidable.

Barett didn't say anything. When he saw Locke pull out the sword from his waist, he immediately clenched his fists and laughed wildly at Gray. "Hahaha! Locke, it looks like we are doomed this time! However, it is wishful thinking to keep us here with just these people!"

With that, Barett charged forward like a cheetah. In just an instant, several soldiers were sent flying by his terrifying power. Looking at Barett, who was already fighting a hundred or so soldiers, Locke did not wait. He held a long sword in his hand and charged directly at Gray.

Gray laughed disdainfully when he saw Locke charging at him.

As two well-known little monsters, Gray knew their strength. Therefore, he wanted to avoid experiencing it himself. "Go! Who can kill him? I will promote him to captain!"

Hearing Gray's words, the remaining hundreds of soldiers seemed injected with chicken blood. They waved the weapons in their hands and rushed forward. Looking at the hundreds of soldiers rushing over, Locke did not panic.

He flipped the sword in his hand. "One slash, Shadow Slash!" A black shadow flashed, and the ten or so soldiers fell to the ground with looks of disbelief. At their necks, a thin line of blood appeared and sprayed out. Locke did not even look at the soldiers he killed in one blow. He continued to wave the long sword in his hand and fell into an intense battle with the hundreds of soldiers.

Gray looked at Locke and Barett, who had fallen into an intense battle. He laughed arrogantly and led the remaining soldiers protecting his safety to walk in front of the young soldiers who were still numb and lifeless.

"Tsk, a bunch of useless things. They are an eyesore. Kill them all!" As Gray finished speaking, the soldiers protecting him immediately waved their weapons at the young soldiers.

"Pu ci!"

"Pu ci!"

The sound of swords cutting into flesh rang out. Soon, the twenty young soldiers were all lying in pools of blood. "Gray! You bastard!" Locke, who was surrounded, roared angrily as he watched Gray mercilessly slaughter the remaining young soldiers. The sword in his hand moved, and a terrifying aura erupted from his body.

"One Saber Flow - Fierce Tiger!"

"Roar -"

With a tiger roar, a massive slash like a tiger coming down from the mountain instantly rushed into the crowd and sent dozens of soldiers flying. The soldiers sent flying had massive wounds on their chests, blood flowing crazily, and soon they completely lost their breath.

Seeing that Locke made such a terrifying slash, Gray immediately panicked. However, when he saw the dozens of soldiers in front of him and the soldiers who were still surrounding Locke, Gray immediately relaxed. "Hmph, you are so useless, Locke. However, you don't have to worry. Soon, you will go down and accompany those little ghosts!"

Hearing Gray's words, Locke's expression was icy. He continuously waved the long sword to block the soldiers' attacks. At the same time, the killing intent and anger in his heart were also constantly expanding.

Feeling Locke's increasingly terrifying killing intent that seemed to be about to materialize, Gray's fear that had just calmed down surged again.

It was as if he would see a monster wholly awakened personally. Not only did Gray have this feeling, but everyone present also felt Locke's killing intent, which was like a ferocious beast.

"Gulp!" Someone swallowed a mouthful of saliva and caused a chain reaction. "Gray! I will kill you today!" "No, but you, Sir Douglas, this war will never end. I will destroy him together! Now, I will completely declare war on all of you bastards!"

Buzz! As soon as Locke finished speaking, an incomparably terrifying aura instantly erupted from his body, engulfing everyone in the surroundings.

"Pitter-patter!"

"Pitter-patter!"

The sound of something falling to the ground rang out, and all the soldiers surrounding Locke and Barett fainted, their eyes white.

Gray's entire body trembled as he half-knelt on the ground. He looked in horror at Locke, who was walking towards him step by step. "Monster, Ju, he defeated all of my subordinates instantly. This is impossible!"

"There's nothing impossible, Gray!" Gray looked up in horror at Locke, who had already walked before him. His body trembled violently in fear. "Locke! I don't want to die! Please let me go!" When Locke heard this, his expression did not change.

He slowly raised the sword in the light. "Locke! You bastard! I am your superior! If you kill me, you will be wanted by the whole army!"

"Puchi -"Silver light flashed, and bright red blood splashed.

"My body, how could it be?"

"Pa da -" The headless corpse lay in a pool of blood.

"Hahaha! Locke, well done. However, have you made your

decision? Are you going to sentence the GF army now?"
