Chapter 208: Chapter 208
Facing Arthur, Imu was filled with frustration. This was his elite army, yet so many soldiers lay unconscious on the ground, utterly defeated. Arthur didn't even seem to regard him with the slightest bit of respect.
Arthur smirked. "What's wrong? Got something to say?"
Imu had plenty of complaints, but he didn't dare voice them. Speaking out would only spell disaster.
"No, no, not at all. You carry on. I just need to contact someone for a moment. Is that alright?"
His tone sounded less like a statement and more like a plea. Arthur gave a casual nod, granting him permission.
Relieved, Imu stepped back. However, he wasn't planning to let Arthur walk away unchallenged. If he couldn't handle the situation himself, he would call in reinforcements.
Retrieving his Den Den Mushi, Imu quickly made a call. It wasn't long before someone on the other end answered.
"Yes, Lord Imu? What can I do for you?"
Imu rarely contacted them—sometimes not even once in half a year—so his call was immediately taken as something serious. Even the Celestial Dragons couldn't ignore it.
Still tense, Imu glanced nervously at Arthur and involuntarily took a step back.
"There's an urgent situation. I need you to come to the Sabaody Archipelago immediately. Bring the best army with you—don't delay!"
Hearing the panic in Imu's voice, Akainu immediately sensed that something was wrong. Still, he nodded firmly and responded, "Alright, I'll come right away."
With that, the Den Den Mushi call ended abruptly, leaving Imu feeling somewhat reassured.
Turning back to Arthur, Imu tried to address him calmly. "What brings you here this time? Just tell me what you want."
Imu assumed Arthur was here to make some demand, but as Arthur listened, his expression shifted, and a sly grin appeared on his face.
"You just called Akainu, didn't you?" Arthur asked casually, his tone sharp. "The strongest fighter from Naval Headquarters... You think bringing him here is going to help you deal with me?"
Imu froze, his heart skipping a beat. Arthur had seen through his plan so effortlessly.
"N-no, it's not like that..." Imu stammered, attempting to deny it.
Arthur interrupted him with a mocking laugh. "No need to explain. If you're planning to fight, just do it already. Don't waste my time. Let's see if you've always been the cowardly waste I think you are."
"Waste?"
Imu's face twisted in anger. He hadn't been insulted like this in years, and the word struck a nerve. His hands trembled, not with fear but with rising fury.
"You've gone too far, Arthur!" Imu snapped, his voice shaking with rage. "Don't blame me if I strike back!"
Imu, determined to take the initiative, attacked Arthur directly. But how could he possibly be a match for Arthur?
"Bring it on," Arthur said, smirking.
Boom!
A deafening explosion shook the entire Sabaody Archipelago as the two clashed. The ground trembled violently, and the impact rippled through the area.
Imu wielded a long sword forged from Seastone, renowned as one of the strongest materials in the world.
"Don't blame me for being harsh with you," Imu growled as he charged.
Meanwhile, Akainu was rushing to the scene with haste, following the urgent command. By the time he arrived, the once-vibrant Sabaody Archipelago lay in ruins, with nearly half of it reduced to rubble.
"Find Lord Imu! Quickly!" Akainu barked, sprinting toward the center of the destruction.
When he finally reached the battlefield, the sight before him was one he would never forget.
Imu was pinned beneath Arthur, utterly defeated and unable to move. His voice, weak and trembling, called out faintly.
"Help me..."
Arthur stood over him with an air of utter dominance. With a casual wave of his hand, he had decimated his opponent and destroyed the area.
"So, I've done it," Arthur said, raising an eyebrow as he turned his sharp gaze to Akainu. "Any complaints?"
