Chapter 150: 150 Battle For The Pendant
"Silver Axe, you old thief!"
Ochoku roared in frustration, but it was useless.
Whitebeard, Kaido, and Lynch all came towards him and participated in the fight for the pendant.
Even Big Mom gave up chasing the Earth Fruit and turned her attention to the pendant.
After all, compared to the coordinates of Hidden Dragon Gorge, the Earth Fruit was nothing.
Whoever gets the coordinates of Hidden Dragon Gorge and takes control of it could shake the entire world's balance.
"Axaaxaxaxa, go ahead and fight for it! If I'm not having it easy, neither will you!" Silver Axe laughed maniacally.
"Ochoku, hand over the pendant, and I'll let you live," Whitebeard said, launching a punch that vibrated through the air, knocking Kaido away just as he was about to snatch the pendant.
For the moment, Ochoku was spared.
Taking something from Ochoku is one thing, but snatching it from Kaido is a whole new challenge. Kaido must not be allowed to win.
"Whitebeard, you old fool, stay out of this!" Kaido roared.
Whitebeard's punch hardly fazed the mythical beast. Kaido stomped the ground, leaving a huge crater, and charged forward again.
"Hehehe, I'm not one who backs down. If you're not afraid of death, come at me!" Ochoku said angrily
Though Ochoku is seen as more reasonable among pirates, that doesn't mean he has no ambition.
He's ready to risk his life for his goals—after all, how many pirates meet a peaceful end?
It's worth it if you die moving forward!
"Well, well, move aside, Kaido. Ochoku, come here, I'll protect you."
Kaido was closest to Silver Ax, and Whitebeard's punch only slowed him for a moment.
Big Mom was about to intervene to stop Kaido, but someone else struck first.
"One-sword Style·Skyfall Strike!"
A ghostly voice echoed as Lynch swiftly sheathed and unsheathed the Dragon Slayer Sword in a single motion, executing a lightning-fast sword draw.
The sword's light illuminated the cave like a rising sun. In an instant, Lynch surpassed Big Mom and Whitebeard, reaching Kaido first.
Before anyone realized it, a line of blood erupted from Kaido's chest, leaving deep, bloody marks from the Dragon Slayer Sword.
"It's been a long time since I've suffered such a serious injury."
Kaido muttered in shock, his mind racing from the unexpected wound.
Despite his defense not being quite as strong as Big Mom's, Kaido's body was still nearly impenetrable.
For most enemies, especially Vice Admiral-level, breaking through his skin required a lot of effort.
The last person to wound him so severely with a blade like the Dragon Slayer Sword was Kozuki Oden from Wanokuni, many years ago.
"Kid, you're much stronger than the last time we met," Kaido said, reacting quickly and reaching out to crush Lynch's head with his massive hand.
But Lynch swiftly shifted from his nine-meter form back to his normal two-meter height, effortlessly dodging the attack.
"You've still got all these strange tricks," Kaido remarked, unfazed by the failed strike.
Feeling the sting of the wound on his chest, Kaido let out a hearty laugh, amused rather than angry.
"Kid, this might not be the best time to ask, but how about joining the Beasts Pirates as my vice-captain?"
Kaido offered, his admiration for Lynch growing with each display of strength. His love for mythical beasts added his respect for powerful fighters like Lynch.
Lynch, unfazed, sheathed his Dragon Slayer Sword, gave Kaido a quick glance, and then changed his focus back to the chase for Silver Ax.
Ochoku wasn't a problem; the real focus was on which of the four could grab the pendant first.
"Damn you, brat!" Kaido shouted, angered by Lynch's indifference.
He thought such disobedient kids should be caught and forced into hard labor in the mines.
"Huh?" Kaido realized this new idea might not be so bad after all.
In the future, if anyone refused to surrender or met a brat claiming he wanted to be Pirate King, Kaido would throw them into the mines to work until they complied.
"Ochoku, I respect you as a man. Let's join forces to keep you safe," Lynch suggested, trying to persuade him.
However, Ochoku had no interest in forming an alliance; he was only looking for a chance to escape with the pendant.
After considering his situation, he realized that being surrounded by four people meant he had no chance of saving the pendant.
To survive, his only option was to find a way to escape.
Lynch quietly relaxed his grip on the Dragon Slayer Sword, allowing the dark green dragon to transform into a streak of green light and vanish into the ground.
"One Blade Style·Tornado."
Lynch casually swung his other sword, targeting not Ochoku but the area ahead of him.
A master swordsman can not only create flames from thin air but also summon powerful winds from the ground.
And Lynch, as a great swordsman, could do this effortlessly.
The fierce wind surged, and in an instant, a tornado over 100 meters tall formed before Lynch. If the cave were taller, the tornado would be even larger.
"Wind! It's too fierce! Run for your lives!"
"Help! Someone help me! I'm going to get sucked in!"
The tornado's powerful suction pulled in many pirates and piles of gold, grinding them into a mass of minced flesh.

The tornado glimmered with gold red, filled with countless coins, making it even more dangerous.
It blocked Ochoku's path, forcing him to either charge through it or find another way around.
However, Lynch was ready. He had already taken a detour to intercept Ochoku.
Whether Ochoku tried to go around or pushed through the tornado, he would be slowed down for a moment, giving Lynch the chance to catch him.
"What a tough kid," Ochoku thought, breaking into a cold sweat. He had no choice but to take advantage of the distraction caused by Lynch's duel to close the distance again.
"Emission•Ten Fist Sword!"
Ochoku suddenly stopped, and his broad sword ignited with black and red flames, sending a chilling aura that made everyone shudder.
This was one of Ochoku's two main killing moves. Anyone struck by it would fall into a sealed state, unable to move.
Lynch was only three steps away from Ochoku, and Kaido was close behind, almost on Lynch's heels.
Behind them were Whitebeard and Big Mom, not far away and able to catch up in just two or three seconds.
Ochoku knew he had to act fast!
He needed to immobilize Lynch with one strike and create some distance from his opponents.
"Go to hell!"
Ochoku shouted as the flames on his broad sword roared to life, reaching tens of meters high.
He thrust the sword at Lynch with all his strength.
"You're finally willing to stop," Lynch said with a smile, making Ochoku uneasy.
However, the sword was already thrust out, making it difficult to stop. If he tried to pull it back forcefully, he risked injuring himself.
Ochoku's legs were planted firmly like the roots of an old tree, steady as a mountain. He felt as if he had an arrow drawn and had to let it fly.
"Roar!"
At that moment, a small dark green dragon burst from the ground. With Ochoku unable to retreat, it snatched the pendant from his pocket.
