The morning sun rose over the horizon, casting a warm golden glow on the forest surrounding Dadan's hideout. After sharing breakfast together, the group—Ash, Lucy, Uta, Ace, and Selina—gathered and made their way to the familiar clearing.
Ash gathered everyone in the clearing, holding the Training Manual and Gravitational Weights from his inventory. "Today onwards, we'll start training to strengthen our bodies and improve our combat skills," he began. "Focus on increasing your physical fitness—it'll be the foundation for everything else we do."
Turning to Uta, he added, "For now, limit the use of your Devil Fruit powers until we're ready to lift your Tot Musica curse with the Purity Crystal. Focus solely on building your physical strength and endurance."
Uta nodded, her determination evident. "Understood, Ash. I'll do my best."
Ash then addressed Uta and Lucy together. "Both of you will rotate wearing the Sea Stone shackles every other week—week one, Lucy; week two, Uta; and so on. During your gravitational weight training rotation, you'll wear the shackles alongside the weights. And remember, the shackles must stay on at all times—even when you're sleeping."
Lucy groaned but quickly straightened up at Ash's serious expression. Uta nodded firmly, ready to follow the plan.
Ash turned to Selina and Ace, his expression firm yet encouraging. "Selina, Ace, for the time being, I want you both to focus on learning close combat techniques. No weapons for now—just hand-to-hand combat. It's important to build your fundamentals so you can handle yourself in any situation."
He glanced at Lucy and then back to the group. "Lucy, Uta and I will help you with this since we already have a good grasp of the basics. It'll be tough, but you'll see the results soon enough."
Both Selina and Ace nodded, determination flashing in their eyes. "Got it, Ash. We'll give it everything we've got," Selina said confidently, with Ace nodding in agreement beside her.
Ash then added, "Also, every evening before we head back to the house, we'll work on Observation Haki. Like I explained earlier, we'll tie our eyes covering with a black cloth and practice dodging attacks or projectiles to develop that sixth sense. It's not easy, but with consistent effort, you'll start to notice improvements."
The group exchanged glances, a mix of excitement and anticipation running through them as they prepared for the intense training ahead.
Day 1: The Beginning of a Month-Long Training Regimen
The sun hung high in the sky, casting its warmth over the clearing where Ash stood, a sly grin on his face as he adjusted the gravitational weights in his hands. The whole group had gathered, buzzing with anticipation for the training Ash had meticulously planned for the month ahead. Ash glanced at the girls—Ace, Lucy, Uta, and Selina—each brimming with excitement or apprehension.
"I'm starting with the weights, so everyone else can focus on the manual and their exercises. Watch and learn," Ash said, giving a playful wink. The girls exchanged looks, eager to begin, and Ash, with a smirk, attached the weights to his body. The mechanism adjusted to a low setting as Ash tested the pressure, his body tensing in anticipation.
"Alright, let's bump this up," Ash muttered, cranking the dial up to 0.5 tons. The added weight caused his muscles to groan, but his steps remained steady. He grinned, determined to push himself further. Turning the dial again, he increased it to 0.7 tons, his movements slowing as the weight bore down on him.
"Let's see how much I can handle," Ash whispered, his body straining under the growing pressure. His muscles screamed for relief, sweat beginning to bead on his forehead as he cranked it up to 0.8 tons. Every movement became a test of endurance.
"Looks like this is my limit for now," Ash thought, standing tall despite the strain. "But I'll get stronger."
Meanwhile, the others were hard at work. Lucy, still wearing the Sea Stone shackles that drained her Devil Fruit powers, struggled more than anyone. The shackles sapped her strength, forcing her to rely on her physical abilities. Each exercise felt like a monumental task, but Lucy refused to give up.
"Ash, this is ridiculous!" Lucy groaned, attempting to push through the manual's exercises. "How am I supposed to train like this?"
Ash grinned; eyes full of mischief. "Remember, Lucy. Pain is growth. Toughen up, you're tougher than this."
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it!" Uta chimed in, slapping Lucy playfully on the back. "Just think of it as a challenge. You're supposed to be a strong, right?"
Lucy glared at Uta but couldn't suppress a grin. "I'll show you who's the strong around here."
Ash glanced over to Ace and Selina, both of whom were struggling to keep up with the manual's exercises. He couldn't help but tease them, his usual playful nature shining through.
"Hey, Ace," Ash called out, grinning as he noticed her slowing down. "You're holding back, aren't you? Trying to make me look bad?"
Ace shot him a sharp look but laughed. "I'm just pacing myself, don't want to be too tired to beat you later."
"Ha, sure. Just don't cry when I leave you in the dust," Ash teased, earning a roll of the eyes from Ace.
Selina, still figuring out the more complicated exercises, caught Ash's eye. He couldn't hide his laughter as she attempted a particularly awkward position.
"Selina, you know I'm not one to judge, but that was... interesting," Ash teased.
Selina stuck her tongue out at him. "I'll get it, just wait until I kick your ass with this move."
Ash chuckled. "I'm looking forward to it."
By lunchtime, they gathered around, sharing a hearty meal of fruits and grilled fish. The mood remained light despite the intensity of the training.
"I swear, if you keep making fun of me, I'm gonna throw you in the lake!" Lucy exclaimed, half-joking, as she struggled with the shackles.
Ash raised an eyebrow. "With those shackles? You'd barely make it five steps before collapsing."
Uta laughed. "Don't worry, Lucy. You'll be stronger than ever. And when that happens, you'll be able to throw Ash in the lake."
"Deal," Lucy grinned.
After lunch, the group moved on to the evening session—Observation Haki. Ash stood; eyes covered with a cloth. "Alright, this is Observation Haki. It's not just about dodging; it's about reading the flow of battle before it happens."
Lucy, eager to take advantage of his blindfold, launched pebbles at him. Ash failed to dodge, the projectiles hitting him one by one, though none caused much damage.
"You girls have no mercy," Ash grumbled.
Uta raised an eyebrow. "Can we go full-on with the projectiles?"
"Throw whatever you've got," Ash nodded, his calm voice betraying his frustration.
By the end of the session, no one had dodged successfully. Ash smiled despite the struggle. "That was harder than I thought. Next time, we'll work on getting better."
Exhausted but smiling, the group packed up. Ash's plan had just begun, and the road ahead promised growth.
On the night Ash retrieved the Chest of Bound Essence, the artifact emitted a soft glow, gradually intensifying until the entire chest radiated a blinding light. After two days of patient anticipation, the light finally began to subside. Ash approached cautiously, excitement and curiosity sparking in his eyes. When the glow fully dissipated, he carefully opened the chest.
Inside, he found two Seeds of Conqueror resting side by side. The sight immediately grabbed his attention. One seed was the original, placed in the left slot, and the other was an identical copy, resting on the right.
Ash held both seeds in his hands, marveling at their flawless resemblance. His mind raced with possibilities. "This is incredible," he thought. "If the chest can copy items like this, it might be the ultimate tool for saving Store Coins."
Excitement surged through him as he carefully returned both seeds to the chest. The potential of this artifact was too valuable to squander. Testing its limits would require patience and strategy. "A week," he muttered, recalling the cooldown period indicated by the system. "I'll wait until the cooldown ends, then see if it works with other consumables. If it does, this chest could be a game-changer."
Satisfied with his plan, Ash placed the chest and the two Seeds of Conqueror securely in his inventory. The thought of the possibilities that lay ahead filled him with anticipation. He allowed himself a moment to reflect, a small smile curling at the corner of his lips, before heading to bed.
As he lay down, his mind buzzed with excitement. "If this works… the advantages could be limitless," he thought, envisioning the ways he could use the chest will aid them in their journey. Tomorrow held the promise of new discoveries, but for now, he closed his eyes, letting sleep take him as the moonlight streamed softly through his window.
Day 2: Strength and Perseverance
The morning sun peeked over the horizon as the group assembled once more in the clearing for their second day of intense training. Lucy, still determined to prove herself, was quick to ask, "Can I try the gravitational weights today?"
Ash shook his head with a chuckle, glancing at her shackled wrists. "Not today, Lucy. You wore the Sea stone shackles all day yesterday, even while sleeping. You're already pushing your limits."
Lucy pouted, crossing her arms. "That's not fair! I want to catch up!"
"Patience," Ash said, ruffling her hair teasingly. "Ace can go today. You'll have your turn again, but we don't want you overdoing it. Remember, you're already building strength with the shackles."
Ace stepped forward, eager to take her turn. Ash handed her the gravitational weights, and she strapped them on with a confident smirk. Adjusting the dial, she gradually increased the weight, testing her limits. She reached 0.65 tons before her legs trembled slightly, and she decided to stop there.
"This is tough," Ace admitted, taking a deep breath. "But I can handle it."
"Good," Ash said, nodding in approval. "Start slow. Rest when you need to, and focus on maintaining control."
Ace began her practice, mimicking Ash's exercises from the previous day. She struggled at first, her movements slow and deliberate under the crushing weight, but she quickly adapted, taking short breaks to let her body adjust before continuing.
Meanwhile, Ash worked with Selina on her punching technique. She struggled to find the right form, her punches lacking power and precision. "Focus on your stance," Ash advised, demonstrating the proper posture. "Your power comes from your whole body, not just your arms."
Selina tried again, this time planting her feet firmly and twisting her hips as she threw her punch. The improvement was immediate, and Ash gave her an encouraging nod. "Better. Keep at it, and you'll be knocking me out in no time."
Lucy, still hindered by the Sea stone shackles, continued her physical training, pushing through her frustration. Though her movements were sluggish and strained, she refused to give up, gritting her teeth as she completed each exercise.
Uta, ever resourceful, decided to work on her agility. She tied a rope to a large stone and began dragging it behind her as she ran laps around the clearing. "This was my idea!" she declared proudly after explaining, when everyone sees and asks what she is doing after seeing her movements fluid despite the added resistance.
As the day wore on, the group reconvened for their Observation Haki training. Lucy volunteered to go first, tying a black cloth around her eyes. She stood ready as the others prepared to throw small projectiles at her.
The results were as comical as they were predictable. Just like a certain pirate's infamous antics, Lucy flailed wildly, reacting to the pebbles with exaggerated yelps and panicked movements as they pelted her harmlessly. The group couldn't help but burst into laughter.
By evening, none of them had succeeded in dodging the projectiles, but the training had been valuable nonetheless. Exhausted but satisfied, they returned to Dadan's house, their spirits high despite the challenges—and they were ready for more.
Day 3: Strength in Numbers
The third day of training began with Selina stepping up to wear the gravitational weights. Her expression was a mix of anticipation and nervousness as Ash adjusted the dial. She strained slightly as the weight increased but stopped at 0.52 tons, her current limit.
"This feels heavier than it looks," she admitted, taking a moment to steady herself.
"That's the point," Ash said with a grin. "You'll get stronger if you push yourself. Just don't overdo it."
Selina nodded and began her workout, her movements deliberate and focused. Ash stayed nearby, offering guidance as she went through her exercises. Meanwhile, Lucy and Ace observed Uta dragging her boulder, an idea that had clearly taken root in their minds.
"That actually looks... fun?" Lucy said, tilting her head.
"Fun?" Ace raised an eyebrow. "Dragging a rock? You're crazy."
Lucy smirked. "Says the one who's already eyeing her own boulder."
Ace huffed but didn't deny it, and soon the two were selecting their own rocks to drag. They tied ropes to the boulders and began running, their laughter and competitive banter filling the air as they tried to outpace each other.
Not one to be left out, Ash eventually joined them. "If you two are going to make this a competition, I might as well show you how it's done," he teased, picking out a larger boulder with ease.
"Oh, you think you're better than us, huh?" Lucy shot back, sticking out her tongue.
"Let's see how you handle it," Ace added, narrowing her eyes playfully.
As they ran, Ash turned to Lucy with a smirk. "You know, dragging rocks isn't the only thing I'm good at. I could teach you a thing or two about endurance."
Lucy flushed slightly but didn't miss a beat. "Endurance, huh? Sounds like someone's bragging again. I'll believe it when I see it!"
Ace rolled her eyes, a grin tugging at her lips. "Will you two stop flirting and focus? I'm not letting either of you win."
"Flirting? Us? Never," Ash said dramatically, earning a laugh from Uta, who was running nearby with her own boulder.
"Keep talking, Ash," Lucy called back, her competitive spirit shining. "You'll be eating my dust soon enough."
The playful banter continued as the group pushed themselves, the added weight testing their strength and stamina. Even as their muscles burned and their breaths grew ragged, their camaraderie kept them going.
By evening, they returned to their usual Observation Haki training. This time, there was a flicker of progress. Both Ash and Lucy felt faint sensations as the projectiles flew toward them—brief glimpses of where the attacks were coming from.
"I think... I felt that one," Ash said, his eyes narrowing as he tried to focus.
"Me too," Lucy added, her excitement evident. "It's like... a whisper or something."
The others were quick to encourage them, their own determination reigniting. "That means we're getting somewhere!" Ace said, clenching her fists.
"Let's keep at it," Uta said, her voice filled with resolve.
Though they still hadn't fully succeeded in dodging the attacks, the small breakthrough was enough to bolster their spirits. They ended the day tired but motivated, their progress fueling their determination as they returned to Dadan's house to rest.
Day 4: Uta Takes the Weight
The fourth day began with Uta stepping up to wear the gravitational weights. Ash adjusted the dial cautiously, increasing the weight bit by bit. Uta kept nodding to go higher until she stopped at 0.5 tons, her current limit.
"This... is no joke," Uta muttered, feeling the strain almost immediately. She took a deep breath and steadied herself before beginning her workout.
Lucy, on the other hand, wasn't too thrilled about waiting her turn. "Why can't I wear them again? It's not fair!" she whined, crossing her arms.
Ace rolled her eyes and delivered a light bonk to Lucy's head. "Your turn will come. Stop whining and focus on your training."
Ash couldn't help but chuckle at their antics. "Alright, alright, let's head back to it. We've got a full day ahead," he said, leading the way.
Uta quickly learned how much harder it was to train with the weights compared to a regular day. The burn set in almost immediately, making her usual exercises feel twice as difficult. At one point, she groaned in frustration, leaning against a tree to catch her breath.
"Don't stop now," Ash said, offering an encouraging smile. "It's tough, but you're tougher. You'll get used to it soon enough."
With his occasional words of motivation and the support of the group, Uta pushed through, slowly adapting to the challenge. Despite the strain, she didn't give up, determined to keep pace with the others.
As evening approached, the group shifted to their Observation Haki training. Once again, everyone took turns dodging projectiles with their eyes covered. By the end, no one had successfully evaded the attacks, though Lucy came close a few times.
"Why can't I feel that whisper again?" Lucy groaned, clearly frustrated.
Ash chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Yesterday was probably a fluke. It takes time to get a real grasp of it. Once you do, the basics will come naturally, and from there, it'll get easier."
Lucy pouted, not entirely convinced. Seeing her frustration, Ash smiled and said, "Tell you what—I'll cook dinner tonight. How does that sound?"
The moment she heard "cook," Lucy's mood did a complete 180. "Meat?!" she exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she darted toward the house.
The rest of the group burst into laughter, amused by how quickly Lucy forgot her frustration when food was mentioned.
"That girl..." Uta said with a grin, shaking her head.
"She's got her priorities," Ace added with a chuckle.
With their spirits lifted, the group wrapped up their training for the day and returned to Dadan's house, ready to enjoy Ash's cooking and rest up for tomorrow.
Day 5: Lucy Overdoes It
It was finally Lucy's turn to wear the gravitational weights. She had been eagerly anticipating this moment, determined to prove herself after seeing everyone else struggle but persevere.
Before Ash could explain how to adjust the weight properly, Lucy took matters into her own hands—or rather, her thoughts. She willed the weight to increase to a staggering 5 tons without realizing the consequences.
The result was immediate. Lucy face-planted into the ground with a loud thud, unable to lift herself under the crushing pressure.
Ash's eyes widened as he rushed over. "Lucy, you idiot!" he scolded, pulling the weights off her. "Why can't you wait for me to set it up for you? It's not done manually; you have to think about the weight, and it changes. You must've thought of way more than you can handle!"
He glanced at the number displayed on the weights and slapped his forehead. "Five tons?! Five tons, Lucy?! You're supposed to go gradually!"
Lucy groaned from her spot on the ground, laughing nervously. "Shishishi... my bad?"
Before Ash could say anything more, Uta stepped in, delivering a solid bonk to Lucy's head. "What were you thinking, trying to show off like that?"
Lucy pouted, rubbing her head. "I wasn't showing off! I just... got carried away, okay? Sorry."
Ash let out a deep sigh, placing the weights on the ground. "You're already wearing the Seastone shackles, Lucy. That alone makes your training harder than anyone else's. Adding this on top without proper care? You're asking for trouble."
Lucy's pout deepened as she looked away sheepishly.
Ash crossed his arms, fixing her with a stern look. "You need to be more careful. If something like this happens again, no meat for two days. Got it?"
The threat of losing meat immediately snapped Lucy to attention. "I'll be careful, I promise!" she said, raising her hands defensively.
The group collectively sighed, and Ash helped Lucy up, muttering, "Honestly..."
Despite the rocky start, Lucy's turn with the weights resumed—this time under Ash's careful supervision, with a much more reasonable starting weight.
After the earlier fiasco with the gravitational weights, Lucy managed to compose herself and get to work. Even with the Sea stone shackles draining her energy, her limit was an impressive 0.62 tons, just slightly below Ace's.
Ash, observing this, shook his head with a small smirk. Of course, the protagonist halo shines again. He couldn't help but marvel at Lucy's natural resilience and innate strength, even if it came with her usual recklessness.
The group's training continued as usual, with Uta's idea of dragging boulders while running now becoming a staple in their routine. The simplicity and effectiveness of the exercise had won everyone over, and even Ash joined in, silently admitting that it was a solid way to push their limits.
Meanwhile, Lucy, handling both the gravitational weights and the Sea stone shackles, focused solely on her exercises. The dual burden was intense, but she powered through, her determination shining as brightly as ever.
As evening fell, they gathered for their Observation Haki practice. Just like the previous days, they took turns blindfolded, dodging thrown objects.
This time, Selina hesitated as she dodged. "I think I felt something... like a flicker," she said, her tone hopeful. She looked toward Ash and Lucy. "It wasn't clear, though. Just like you both said before—it's hard to grasp."
Lucy, however, pouted dramatically. "Ugh, not again! I still can't hear the voice!" she whined, throwing her hands up in frustration.
Her exaggerated reaction had everyone bursting into laughter. Even Selina cracked a smile, which earned a grumble from Lucy. "It's not funny!" she insisted, though the corners of her mouth twitched as she tried not to join in.
With their spirits lifted despite the setbacks, they wrapped up their practice and headed back to Dadan's house. Their muscles ached, but their resolve grew stronger with each passing day.
{}
The training continued steadily for a full month, with everyone sticking to their rigorous routines. Lucy and Uta alternated the Sea stone shackles each week, ensuring they both had time to adapt and build resistance. By the end of the month, both showed noticeable improvements, though Lucy's natural resilience and sheer determination gave her a slight edge. Her resistance to the Sea stone's draining effects was higher than Uta's, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by Ash. Ace and Selina also improved in their combat skills.
Ash himself focused on refining his techniques while also experimenting with the Chest of Bound Essence during the downtime between training. Over the course of the month, he tested different consumables:
1) Skill Combining Tickets – The chest successfully duplicated these tickets, allowing Ash to experiment with creating more versatile skills without worrying about exhausting his supply.
2) Ability Upgrade Tickets – These, too, were copied with ease, further fueling Ash's growing arsenal of enhancements.
3) Phoenix Feather – When Ash tested this item, he theorized it will fail even though this is also considered as consumable this is considered rare. To his surprise the chest did copy it successfully, but unlike the usual two-day duplication process, it took four days to complete.
This extended cooldown intrigued Ash. If this item can defy death itself, it makes sense for the chest to require more time to replicate it, he reasoned. However, he was left with another mystery to solve: how much longer would the chest's cooldown period be for such a rare item? The usual seven-day cooldown might not apply to extraordinary items like the Phoenix Feather after replicating it.
Despite these experiments, Ash remained cautious about overusing the chest, wanting to avoid potential risks or hidden consequences. He decided to wait and observe the cooldown carefully, prioritizing the consumables which are needed for now that could provide a significant advantage for the current growth.
By the end of the month, everyone had made measurable progress. Their physical and mental fortitude had grown, and though Observation Haki remained elusive, moments of fleeting clarity during practice hinted that they were on the verge of a breakthrough. With each passing day, their determination only grew stronger.
Celeste opens Ash stats as per his request.

As Ash looked over the results of their training, he noticed the hunger starting to creep in every ones face. With a smile, he turned to the group.
"Alright, how about I cook again today?" he offered, the warmth in his voice making it clear he was happy to do it.
Lucy's eyes lit up immediately, her stomach growling in agreement. "Yes! I can't wait! You cook the best meals, Ash!"
Ace, though quieter than Lucy, couldn't help but smile slightly. She was just as eager, but her expression remained stoic, as always. Still, the sparkle in her eyes betrayed her excitement.
The group, having finished their intense training, gathered their things, ready to head back to Dadan's house. Ash's offer was more than just a meal; it was a moment of comfort and a reward after all their hard work.
As they walked back, the mood was light, and laughter filled the air. Lucy, always vocal with her feelings, couldn't help but chat animatedly about the food she hoped Ash would cook. Ace, following behind, let a small, content smile slip past her usual guarded demeanor.
Selina walked beside Ash, her mind already wandering to tomorrow's training, eager to see how much further they could push themselves. Everyone was excited for the next day, but tonight, they couldn't wait to relax and enjoy another of Ash's delicious meals. Uta hugging Ash's arm continued talking with him as they walked back to the house.
They arrived at Dadan's house, and everyone eagerly awaited what the next day would bring. Tomorrow would be another day of growth, but for now, they were content.
The evening passed with laughter and stories, all under the warm light of the home they had built together, knowing that tomorrow would be another step in their journey.
To be continued...
Hey everyone! I'm always looking for ways to make this story even better, and I'd love to hear your ideas. What powers do you think should be available in Ash's store? Maybe you have some cool concepts for abilities, weapons, or items that could make the adventure even more exciting!
Feel free to drop your suggestions in the comments, and if there's anything specific, you'd love to see in future chapters, let me know! I might even integrate your ideas into the story.
Also, don't forget to give some Power Stones if you're enjoying the journey! Your support means the world. 😊
