One Piece: Invincible Starting From The Fruit Of Words

Naval Headquarters sent Kizaru to lead a team to hunt down Lucifer, but half a month later, there was still no trace of him.

He never thought he would meet Lucifer here today.

"Quick, retreat!"

"Where's the helmsman? Turn the ship around immediately!"

Marine Rear Admiral had no intention of fighting Lucifer at all and directly ordered his men to retreat.

From what Admiral Kizaru had confirmed, Lucifer's strength far exceeded that of a Marine Vice Admiral, and only a Marine Admiral could compete with him.

So, Naval Headquarters issued an order that any Marine soldiers encountering Lucifer could abandon their missions and evacuate without being considered deserters.

The Marines moved quickly. Several soldiers turned around together and began controlling the warship to flee.

At the same time, Marine Rear Admiral began contacting Headquarters.

"Hello, I'm Carl Vardos. I've found Lucifer in the Moro Sea. Requesting backup."

"Yes, the identity of the other party is confirmed. It's undoubtedly Lucifer."

"Lucifer has formed his own pirate crew. There are three known members: Rommel's weasel Cavendish, Doflamingo's subordinate baby5, and an unknown man."

Rear Admiral Carl Vardos spoke quickly, his anxiety clear in his voice. He knew he might not make it back, so he relayed as much information as possible to Naval Headquarters, including the photos they had taken.

From this point, he showed his dedication as a Marine.

On the other side, aboard the Nether.

Enel, Cavendish, and the others looked at the fleeing Marine warship with disdain.

"Hey, is this the Marine from Qinghai?"

"They run before even fighting. Isn't that pathetic?"

Enel was a little dissatisfied. He had heard that the Marine was the strongest force on the sea, but they certainly didn't look like it now. Seeing their flag and their panicked retreat, they appeared more like cowardly rats.

"They're just afraid of Captain Lucifer. After all, the captain's reputation is frightening."

Cavendish smiled.

"How about it, Captain? Should we make a move?"

Enel looked at Lucifer.

Lucifer smiled and took the red wine handed to him by baby5.

"Since we've met, we can't let our prey escape. Let's play with them."

Lucifer turned his gaze toward the warships in the sea ahead and softly spoke, "Come here."

The next second, an invisible force erupted, quickly pulling the warship toward the Nether.

The sudden shift stunned the Marines aboard the warship, none of them able to react. By the time they regained their senses, they realized they were now in the hands of the Nether Pirates.

Enel and Cavendish stared at the Marines on the warship, their gazes like those of hunters eyeing their prey.

"What power is this? Why are we here?"

"The warship was forced to move!"

"Didn't they say Lucifer's powers are similar to Admiral Kizaru's? What is this?"

Hundreds of Marines were panicked, losing their composure.

"Calm down, idiots!"

Rear Admiral Carl Vardos roared, halting his panicked soldiers.

"You're facing evil pirates. You can't lose your composure like this. What would Marine's face be if we showed fear?"

Rear Admiral Carl Vardos stepped onto the bow, pointed his saber at Lucifer, and exuded a murderous aura.

"Come on, I'll be your opponent!"

"Yeah, hahaha, finally someone with a spine!" Enel laughed, turning into a bolt of lightning as he shot toward Marine Rear Admiral.

Cavendish was momentarily taken aback but quickly realized he was a step behind.

"Hey, hey, don't rush off!" he shouted, before also transforming into a gust of wind and charging toward the warship.

Rumble!

A flash of lightning streaked across the deck, and a dozen Marines screamed as they were instantly turned into ash.

Then, a gust of wind swept across, and more than a dozen Marines were impaled in the chest, falling dead in pools of blood.

Lucifer didn't intervene; these Marines were too weak.

If he made a move, the battle would be over instantly, and Enel and Cavendish wouldn't have the chance to test their skills. As captain, he couldn't always be the first to fight. A captain should lead by example, but not babysit.

He had formed his crew not to be weaklings hiding behind him but to grow stronger through battle.

Enel was facing the Marine Rear Admiral, and Cavendish was battling two Marine Colonels and hundreds of Marines. Though only two of them were fighting, it cost the Marine forces a lot.

In just a few minutes, the deck was littered with corpses.

"Hey, baby5, aren't you going to fight?"

"Being lazy won't make me stronger. The weak are useless to me."

Lucifer glanced at baby5 beside him.

"I know, I know."

Baby5 exhaled a smoke ring before turning her body into a missile, launching herself toward the warship with a whoosh.

With a loud explosion, a large hole was blown through the deck of the warship, and a dozen Marines were killed on impact.

With baby5's addition, the Marines were losing even more ground.

Rear Admiral Carl Vardos looked at the carnage around him, his eyes wide with shock.

"Damn pirates, go to hell!"

"Flying Slash!"

A vacuum slash shot out from his sword, aimed directly at Enel in the distance.

In a flash of lightning, Enel dodged the slash and simultaneously threw a Brontosaurus at Carl Vardos.

The Rear Admiral was struck by the brontosaurus and spat blood on the spot.

His hair stood on end, and his body was scorched black.
