Before the words could leave their mouths, the two roaring pirates suddenly exploded, their flesh and blood scattering everywhere, splattering the pirates next to them. Even Wade's face was covered in blood.

The many pirates who had been watching gasped at this scene. They all knew that Lucifer was strong and could use the same abilities as Admiral Kizaru, but they hadn't expected him to be so terrifying. No one could see how Lucifer had struck; it seemed as if the two pirates had exploded on their own. It is this uncertainty that instills fear.

"The captain is speaking; don't interrupt the trash fish casually!" Lucifer said, moving his finger to aim at Wade's forehead.

Wade froze in place, not daring to move, sweat pouring down his face. Looking at that slender finger, Wade felt as if he were staring down the barrel of the deadliest weapon.

During the day, he had witnessed Lucifer defeat a pirate group with just one finger.

"I'm sorry; my subordinates are rude!" Wade stammered. "Your Excellency, please be merciful. We'll leave now!"

He had thought that aligning with Lucifer would provide him a chance to secure the treasure, but Wade didn't expect Lucifer to be so capricious that he would kill someone over a slight disagreement. Now that the cooperation had not been reached, he found himself in a life-or-death crisis.

Lucifer smiled calmly. "Since you're here, don't leave. You're right in saying that there are too many pirates on the island, so it's best for you to die here."

"Flash Ray!"

As soon as the words fell, a golden light shot out, instantly piercing Wade's forehead. The laser continued through the walls of the tavern and flew into the distance, the explosion forming a massive fireball.

"You... you...."

Wade's hand still rested on the handle of his knife, clearly wanting to retaliate. But unfortunately, his speed was too slow.

Before he could react, he was already dead.

With a thud, Wade's body fell limply to the ground.

"Ding! Host killed the pirate Wade Guy and gained 12,000 killing points."
