One Piece - I'm Whitebeard

Chapter 469: 470 Besieged Whitebeard

Whitebeard quickly unleashed his tremor barrier, blocking Ryokugyu's attack and neutralizing the gravity force.

Then, Whitebeard kicked Ryokugyu into the sky with lightning speed. Following up, he swung his massive sword, sending a powerful slash in the direction Ryokugyu was sent flying.

The movements were so fluid that Ryokugyu didn't even have time to react. The follow-up slash from Whitebeard's sword left a deep cut on his body.

"Damn, is he really this strong?" Ryokugyu was shocked. Just one encounter, and he was already injured—what a disgrace.

"Ryokugyu, be careful. Don't you ever underestimate Whitebeard," Akainu warned.

"I... I know," Ryokugyu nodded, realizing he'd been careless. He had underestimated Whitebeard, treating him like just any ordinary opponent.

As Ryokugyu recovered from his wounds, he witnessed an incredible sight: powerful dragon's breath, lava flows, massive flames, piercing ice, gravity slash, and Yasakani no Magatama all converging on Whitebeard. The combined attacks were a dazzling display of power.

All these powerful attacks converged on Whitebeard's location simultaneously.

Each one alone could shake the battlefield, but combined, they unleashed an even greater force, all focused on a single target.

"Can Whitebeard really withstand such immense power? Is he a god?"

Ryokugyu wondered aloud. As he recovered from his injury, he couldn't help but marvel at the strength he possessed, tied to both the power of his Logia forest-forest fruit. By absorbing the nutrients on all living things, he can recover from mostly any injury.

The power is also extremely strong, there's a reason he's called a monster.

In addition to these attacks, Quinn unleashed explosives and biochemical weapons, including small-scale poisons. The battlefield around Whitebeard became a chaotic mix of colors.

Magma flames, green poison, golden light, and white ice all converged on Whitebeard.

At that moment, Whitebeard's tremor power erupted completely.

This was the peak of Whitebeard's power, shaking the very space around him. His tremor power erupted in all directions, sending shockwaves everywhere.

The powerful vibrations seemed to distort space itself. They blocked all incoming attacks and pushed the energy from those attacks backward. The explosions and impacts were contained and continuously pushed outward by the shockwaves.

In this situation, the vibrations spread outward, affecting an area with a radius of thousands of meters. While most of the land is flat, there are some hills and a factory within this range.

Under such force, everything within the area is flattened.

The factory, mountains, and any protruding land are all destroyed. The ground is left bare, and all plants lose their vitality instantly.

Not only did Whitebeard's shockwave flatten everything, but it also tore apart the surrounding ground. Magma flowed through the cracks, mixing with flames and ice to produce thick steam.

The steam obscured the view.

Everyone except Whitebeard struggled to resist the shockwave, which drained much of their strength.

Akainu thought it was worth it because the recent explosion had drained a lot of Whitebeard's energy.

The tremor was so powerful that it also affected the battlefield between the Marine and the Whitebeard Pirates.

Fortunately, the Whitebeard Pirates had retreated a bit earlier, so the impact on them was less severe. However, the Marine's rear troops suffered heavy losses.

The Marine's rear troops, mostly equipped with scientific equipment, were completely destroyed by the recent impact.

As for the warships on the coast, they are even closer to the impact, and the impact is naturally more serious.

However, the warships had protective systems that activated their energy shields. Since the warships were close together, their shields overlapped, preventing significant damage.

However, there were losses. Many warships had their external weapons and equipment destroyed, and some were overturned by the waves caused by the impact.

Crocodile and Luffy's battleships were better positioned, but they still felt the tremors. Crocodile activated the energy shield immediately, but the entire battleship still shook violently.

The intense impact left Crocodile and Luffy both terrified. This was the first time Crocodile had witnessed such a powerful siege on Whitebeard.

And afraid that this kind of scene may not be able to be replicated in the future, Crocodile's heart was completely shocked.

When the impact finally subsided, both Crocodile and Luffy stared at the screen, dumbfounded by the scene before them.

Despite the impact, Whitebeard remained unharmed. In contrast, Akainu and the others were heavily affected and were all gasping for breath.

"It's terrible. With this terrifying power, we don't need to worry about Whitebeard's safety in the first place." Crocodile said, clenching his fist and hitting the table.

Crocodile now realized that Hawkins' prediction about Whitebeard being betrayed likely referred to Aokiji, and this was the unimaginable scene of the siege.

Despite the impact, Whitebeard remains largely unaffected.

Crocodile finds it amusing that Hawkins' prediction made it seem like Whitebeard was in danger, but in reality, this is Whitebeard's stage, and everyone is witnessing his true strength.

Now, besides Crocodile and others, all the other warships can see the battle. This has likely changed the Marines' view of Whitebeard from just a pirate to something much more.

With the combined power of Marine Admirals, the Fleet Admiral, and two Four Emperors, they still can't defeat Whitebeard.

As a result, Whitebeard is seen as a god-like figure in the eyes of these Marines and Vice Admirals.

In the eyes of these Marines, it also means their Admirals are not as formidable.
