"It seems the Galley-La Company is hiding quite a few secrets."

After leaving the Galley-La Company, Nami appeared deep in thought.

The three people who were intimidated by Ace's Conqueror's Haki were almost certainly members of CP9. Their emotional reactions were evident to those who could sense things through Observation Haki, amplified by the Thunder Fruit.

"That's right. I didn't expect that there would actually be a CP9 among the government's agents. And they've infiltrated Uncle Iceberg's company… it seems like a big secret," Vivi nodded.

"Ace, are you planning to kill them?" Nojiko asked, holding a gun, her beautiful eyes flashing with a black light.

After consuming the Door-Door Fruit, Nojiko had gained the confidence to kill them quietly. The fruit's power, combined with her sniping abilities, could create terrifying assassination moments. The most dangerous moment for a sniper is when they remain hidden in the shadows, and the Door-Door Fruit can perfectly create that environment. The threat level of a sniper who can strike from the shadows at any time is truly fearsome.

"If we kill them here, who will deliver my message to the World Government?" Ace smiled, looking at the fighting spirit in the girls' eyes.

His battle with Aokiji had not only brought him great gains but had also transformed the hearts of the girls around him. They now possessed the mindset of true warriors. Even if the World Government, a colossal force, dared to provoke the Entei Pirates, it would pay in blood.

Aokiji, the highest combat force of the World Government, an Admiral, had inadvertently become a stepping stone for the evolution of their mentality as strong warriors. The girls' Haki was also growing stronger with this newfound courage. This is why the pirate constantly battles strong opponents on the Grand Line and continuously evolves.

Hearing Ace's words, the black color representing Haki flashed in the girls' eyes, and the lucky charms around their necks—gifts from Ace—emitted a faint mysterious light. Under the influence of this reduced version of the "realm of comprehension," the black light in their eyes became deeper and richer.

Robin looked at Ace with shining eyes. Previously, whenever she faced a giant force like the World Government, all she thought about was running, escaping, getting away. She hadn't even had the courage to resist. She never imagined her captain would now directly warn the World Government. As expected of her captain.

Robin's red lips curved into a beautiful smile.

"But Ace, what about repairing Merry? Galley-La Company has merged the seven shipyards in Water 7. If we don't go there, where can we find excellent shipwrights?" Nojiko asked.

"Didn't Granny Kokoro say this? If we can't find a satisfactory shipwright at the Galley-La Company, then there might be a street thug somewhere who is actually a very talented shipwright," Ace replied with a grin.

In truth, Ace had no intention of having the Going Merry repaired at Galley-La Company. Kaku, Lucci, and the others, despite their skills, were not qualified to work on the Going Merry. Furthermore, Ace had no plans to use his "realm of comprehension" on them. From the beginning, he had only one target in mind: Franky, the future shipwright and craftsman for his younger brother Luffy.

Tom, the best shipwright in the world, once built the "Oro Jackson" for the Pirate King, and guided them to the final island. And Franky, the said disciple of Tom the Fish-Man, had transformed his critically injured and dying body into a super cyborg using the remaining steel materials from an abandoned ship when he was young. So when it comes to engineering talent, Franky's skills were probably no less than his master's.

Under the full influence of his "realm of comprehension," Franky's shipbuilding abilities could match or even surpass his former master, Tom, the world's greatest shipwright. Only someone of that caliber was qualified to modify the Going Merry. Moreover, Franky's weapon modifications were among the best in the world. With his talent, enhanced by the "realm of comprehension," he could reach astonishing heights.

Ace thought it would also be a great opportunity to help Nami enhance her Clima-Tact and craft a perfectly suited sniper rifle for Nojiko. On top of that, Franky's growth would mean an increase in Luffy's strength, and with Luffy's power growing, Ace's own strength would be bolstered as well. It was a triple-win situation.

"Ace, are you suggesting…?" Nami's eyes lit up with understanding.

"The ones who attacked our Merry… Nami, find them," Ace instructed with a light smile.

"Got it!" Nami closed her eyes, and her Observation Haki, amplified by the Thunder Fruit, spread out from her body, covering the entire city of Water 7.

After a moment, Nami's eyes snapped open, crackling with electricity. "Found them."

In the city of Water 7, on a remote coast, there stood a building covered with strange graffiti. This was the home of Franky's Family.

"Ouch!" Zambai screamed as his little brother applied medicine to his injuries. Surrounding him were the younger members of the Franky Family, all of whom had followed Zambai to attack the going merry. Each of them bore burns as if they'd been struck by lightning.

"Oh yeah~~!"

A strange shout echoed, and the entire Franky Family was suddenly bathed in flashing lights.

"Hey! My dear brothers, look at you." A blue-haired man with bizarre body proportions, wearing only a pair of briefs and looking quite eccentric, was dancing wildly under the flashing lights.

"Just a defeat… just another chance to reclaim it!" he cried. "It's dance time! Here comes the pervert! SUPPEERRR!"

Franky clapped his hands together, assuming a weird pose. The two square-haired sisters on either side struck the same pose.

"Franky! Super!" he shouted bizarrely.

"Brother!" Zambai and the others cried out upon seeing Franky.

"Brother, avenge us!" they pleaded.

"Revenge? Of course!" Franky's forehead veins bulged. "Which bastard hurt my dear brothers like this?!"

Franky's eyes turned bloodshot as he roared.

"Uh, yeah… it was lightning," Zambai and the others hesitantly pointed toward the ceiling.

The atmosphere suddenly cooled.

"Huh? Lightning? You got struck by lightning?" Franky's mouth twitched as he examined his brothers' injuries. Yep, definitely struck by lightning.

"Hahaha! Struck by lightning? That's just the kind of treatment a pervert should get. Truly, super~ perverted!" Franky laughed, slapping his thigh.

"No, no, brother," Zambai quickly explained. "We just wanted to dismantle the pirate ship docked at the harbor, like usual. But as soon as we approached, a bolt of lightning came out of nowhere."

"Ha?" Franky stopped laughing and frowned. If it was natural lightning, there wasn't much he could do. After all, he couldn't just fight the sky for revenge. Besides, getting struck by random lightning did sort of fit the "super~ pervert" theme.

But if someone had orchestrated it, that was a whole different matter.

"Whose pirate ship is it?" Franky shouted.

"Yes, it's the Entei Pirates. Portgas D. Ace's pirate ship, with a bounty of 150 million Beli," Zambai shouted.

"Hey, brother, this guy has a 150 million Beli bounty... this isn't good," Kiwi, one of the square-headed sisters, said, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

"Yeah, brother, and there's no proof that it was actually Portgas D. Ace who did it," Mozu, the other square-headed sister, added nervously.

"150 million, huh? That's quite a high bounty," Franky muttered, his expression tightening.

Zambai and the other crew members knew what their brother was thinking — after all, 150 million Beli is no small amount.

"But still! If someone dares to hurt my dear brothers, I'll make sure they pay!" Franky shouted, his eyes bloodshot with rage.

"Brother!" Zambai and the others immediately teared up with emotion.

Knock, knock, knock!

At that moment, a polite knock echoed from the door of the Franky House.

"Huh? Did someone actually come to the Franky House? And they're knocking so politely?" one of the square-headed sisters said in disbelief.

The Franky Family's reputation in Water 7 had long been tarnished — no, actually, according to their brother, they were considered downright freaks. People usually avoided them. So why would someone come here, and with such polite manners?

"This way of knocking..." Franky jumped off the stage and walked over to the door.

BAM!

Franky ripped the door open dramatically.

"That's not super at all!" Franky shouted, striking a bizarre pose under the stunned gazes of his followers.

"Hey, you're Franky, the 'pervert among perverts,' right?" Ace asked with a slight smile.

"Huh?" Franky looked at the handsome man standing there, smiling so warmly that he felt oddly familiar. His mouth twitched slightly, then began to curl into a grin that even a Marine warship couldn't contain.

"Hey! You guys are really super good at flattery!" Franky said, gesturing grandly for them to come in, with a big grin plastered on his face.

The "pervert among perverts" — yes, that would be his new title from now on.

The girls behind the man looked at this eccentric figure, twitching their mouths in disbelief. Could this guy really know how to repair ships?

"Brother, are you sure it's okay to let complete strangers into the Franky House?" the square-headed sisters whispered urgently to Franky, who was grinning ear-to-ear.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Franky Family scrutinized Ace carefully. Why did this guy look so familiar?

"Right!" Franky coughed and turned to Ace. "So, who are you? What business do you have with me, the 'pervert among perverts'? Just say it!"

Franky laughed boisterously.

Cold sweat began to drip from the brows of the Franky Family members behind him. It was over — their brother had completely embraced the new title.

"I'm Portgas D. Ace. Nice to meet you," Ace said, his mouth curving up in a slight smile.

The room fell into an instant, tense silence. Cold sweat dripped down the foreheads of the Franky Family members.

"A bounty of 150 million… the Entei Pirates' Portgas D. Ace?!"

No wonder this man seemed familiar — he looked exactly like the one on the wanted posters!

"What?!" Franky shouted, his eyes widening as he stared at Ace. "Portgas D. Ace? I was just about to find you! Did you cause these injuries to my brothers?!"

"That's right," Ace replied with a calm smile. "My crew members have standing orders to punish anyone who approaches our ship without permission."

"Hahaha! So it was you! You hurt my dear brothers..."

"But by the way," Ace interrupted with a smile, "we were sent by Granny Kokoro to have you repair our ship. We'd like you to handle the task of modifying it for us."

Franky, who had been on the verge of exploding, was taken aback. "Huh? That old lady Kokoro sent you to me for boat repairs?"

Franky was puzzled. Why would Granny Kokoro direct these people to him instead of sending them to the Galley-La Company?

Wait a minute!

Franky shook his head, his eyes burning with intensity. The priority now was to avenge his brothers!

"You think you can hurt my brothers and still have me repair your ship?! Are you looking down on me, Super?!"

Bam!

Ace signaled, and Kaya placed two leather bags in front of him. When Ace opened the two suitcases, they were filled with money.

Franky's intense expression faltered, and he stared blankly at the two bags full of cash.

Franky's family behind him were equally stunned. Zambai and the others even forgot about their injuries.

"Are you kidding me? A mere 200 million Beli! Do you think you can bribe me into not avenging my brothers?!"

Bam! Another leather bag was opened.

"I'm not a shipwright; I'm a ship dismantler. You've come to the wrong person," Franky said, swallowing nervously.

Bam! Two more bags were opened.

"Five hundred million Beli?!" Franky and his crew were utterly speechless.

"Hahaha, you are indeed super! You've found the right man!" Franky gave a thumbs-up, grinning.

"Yes, exactly! When you think about it, it was all our fault from the beginning!"

"And, in reality, we were just struck by lightning from the sky!"

"Haha, yes, it has nothing to do with Brother Ace," the members of Franky's family said, their previous grievances seemingly forgotten.

"Quick, serve tea to Brother Ace!"

Ace walked into the Franky House with a satisfied smile.

"So, Brother Ace, you want to completely refit your pirate ship? To make it seaworthy for the New World?" Franky asked, looking serious after hearing Ace's request.

"Honestly, it's practically impossible. It's almost like building a new ship. Unless your ship has a 'ship spirit,' there's only a slight chance." Franky paused and continued, "Oh, by the way, the so-called 'ship spirit'..."

"Merry, say hi," Ace instructed with a grin.

"Hello, I am Merry, the ship spirit of the going merry," the small figure called Merry, surrounded by an aura of comprehension, said, waving cheerfully.

"What? Wait... is this a ship spirit?!" Franky's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

A ship spirit that can move freely away from the ship?! He'd never even heard of such a thing!

"Incredible... a ship spirit that can move around! No wonder Granny Kokoro sent you to me. Your love for your ship is truly super touching! Waah~!" Franky exclaimed, pulling out a ukulele and bursting into tears while playing it.

"Just tell me how you will modify it," Ace replied, exasperated.

"Honestly, even with a ship spirit, only my late master could have done this. I've only learned a fraction of his shipbuilding skills; the rest went to a place I can never reach," Franky explained solemnly, clearly respecting Ace's dedication to his ship.

"Enies Lobby?" Ace's words caused Franky's eyes to widen in shock.
