Chapter 106: Chapter 106: Go Call Sengoku And Akainu!

Ace held Robin close, a soft smile on his face.

For years, Robin had carried three shadows in her heart, all stemming from the tragedy of Ohara.

The first was Aokiji, who had used the power of the Ice-Ice Fruit to freeze her first true friend, Jaguar D. Saul, the giant Vice Admiral of the Marines, right before her eyes.

The second shadow was the colossal World Government itself, a behemoth that boasted over 170 member nations, all proclaiming to uphold justice.

Ace had already helped Robin shatter these first two shadows. But the third, and by far the largest, was the one that loomed over her soul: the Buster Call.

A force so absolute it had wiped Ohara off the map, erasing its very existence. Even though Robin had come to terms with her past, facing the World Government and embracing her identity as the "Devil's Child," the mere mention of the Buster Call could still send her emotions into turmoil.

Without overcoming this final shadow, Robin could never fully awaken her Haki.

And now, with Spandam clutching the golden Den Den Mushi in his trembling hand, the symbol of her darkest memories was about to be activated again. But today, that shadow would finally be shattered.

"Ace..." Robin whispered, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at his gentle smile.

The Buster Call had haunted her for so long, even after all she had overcome. Facing the World Government no longer frightened her, and she had embraced the moniker of "Devil's Child." But this, this was different.

Yet, as she felt Ace's warm hand clasping her own, she realized something had changed. The fear, the dread—it was fading.

With Ace beside her, she could face anything. Even the Buster Call.

Around Robin's neck, the charm Ace had given her glowed faintly. Her Haki, the manifestation of her will, began to intensify, the black hue deepening and shining with newfound strength.

The shadow in her heart began to crumble.

"Robin," called Nami softly, as she and the other women watched, smiles lighting their faces. They had each experienced this same awakening when Ace had saved them.

Their eyes sparkled with tears—tears of understanding and shared relief.

"Brother Ace," said Franky, his voice low but determined. "Leave Spandam to me. I'll make him spill everything about where the World Government is hiding all of Master Tom's shipbuilding plans. And I swear on my life, I'll make him pay for what he did."

Ace nodded. "He's all yours, Franky. Do whatever it takes."

With rage burning in his eyes, Franky's powerful mechanical arm shot out, grabbing onto the Justice Tower.

"Spandam!" he roared, launching himself at the cowering figure.

"You… stay back! I'm the commander of CP9! You can't—"

But before Spandam could finish, Franky's fist connected with a sickening crunch, sending him crashing into the ground.

The others stood in silence for a moment, listening to the sounds of Spandam's screams echoing through the tower.

"Well," Ace chuckled, "we're normally a pretty peaceful bunch."

Granny Kokoro wiped away tears from her eyes. "Thank you, Ace. I never thought I'd live to see Tom's revenge carried out, to finally pay tribute to him here, at Enies Lobby. I can die content."

Ace smiled, holding Robin's hand tighter. "This is the price CP9 pays for touching my crew. Franky will get what he needs, and we'll leave on the Puffing Tom. But we should be quick—Buster Call is on its way."

In the distance, the massive gates of Enies Lobby creaked open, revealing the silhouettes of ten enormous warships emerging from the sea fog. These ships were no ordinary vessels—they were the pride of the City of Water 7, the most powerful warships ever constructed.

Standing on the decks were five of the Navy's most feared Vice Admirals.

"Why is it so quiet here?" muttered one of them, a man with a dark purple mustache and a mohawk, wearing a striped suit. Vice Admiral Momonga, one of the Navy's most senior officers, frowned as he surveyed the scene.

Enies Lobby was supposed to be teeming with life—over 10,000 elite troops and CP9's headquarters were stationed here. Yet the eerie silence made his skin crawl.

"Doesn't matter," growled another, a man with spider-like hair. Onigumo, one of Akainu's most loyal officers, didn't care about the state of the battlefield. "We've been ordered to destroy this place, and that's what we'll do."

Momonga glanced at his fellow Vice Admirals. There were no further questions. The orders were clear: everything in Enies Lobby had to be wiped out. Absolute destruction was the only way to preserve absolute justice.

"Fire!" Onigumo shouted.

The ten warships opened fire, unleashing a barrage of cannonballs that tore through the sky.

Countless massive cannonballs, whistling through the air, rained down on Enies Lobby.

"Whoosh!"

"Chirp!"

Suddenly, a sharp, exotic bird cry pierced the sky.

As the cannonballs flew through the atmosphere, they spontaneously ignited, erupting into violent explosions midair.

"Who's there?!" shouted Vice Admiral Momonga, his pupils contracting in shock.

"Whoosh!"

A powerful beat of wings echoed through the atmosphere.

Under the stunned gazes of the marines, a massive figure appeared. A pair of wings, as vast as a small island, stretched across the sky. Strange, ethereal flames burned along its dreamlike feathers—a mystical bird, hovering above the battlefield, letting out a piercing cry.

"This… this is?!!" The eyes of the five Vice Admirals shrank in disbelief.

"Bird-Bird Fruit, Mythical Zoan: Suzaku Form!" said Chaton solemnly, recognizing the Devil Fruit from the legendary guidebook.

The name alone caused the eyes of Momonga, Onigumo, and the other Vice Admirals to widen in shock.

"Could it be?" murmured Gion, her gaze sharp as it landed on the figure standing confidently on Suzaku's head.

"I can't let you fire those cannons just yet," Ace grinned, his voice booming with authority. "The interrogation isn't over."

"Entei Pirate… Portgas D. Ace!" Gion's expression grew serious as she took in the sight of him.

Is this the man who had infiltrated Enies Lobby? That Spandam—he didn't inform headquarters and launched a Buster Call without permission!

Portgas D. Ace, the man who once fought Admiral Aokiji to a standstill!

"That pirate who desecrated justice and used Conqueror's Haki in the Holy Land of Mariejois?!" snarled Onigumo, his face dark with anger. His hair, controlled by Life Return, writhed like spider legs, while his eight swords glistened in the light.

"I'll capture you here and now, Pirate! You blaspheme against justice!" Onigumo roared, pushing off the ground with Moonwalk and hurtling toward Ace.

"Onigumo, stop! You can't defeat him!" Gion cried out, her face paling.

The fight between Ace and Aokiji had been classified as top secret by the Marines. An Admiral being injured meant there was a gap in the highest level of Marine power, something that could trigger chaos if the world's ambitious pirates caught wind of it.

Only a select few in the Marines knew that Portgas D. Ace had fought Aokiji to a draw, a fact that was tightly guarded by Fleet Admiral Sengoku. The emergence of the Suzaku form from the Mythical Zoan and the power of the Entei Pirates would undoubtedly raise questions about the Navy's strength.

If Onigumo, unaware of the truth, faced someone of Ace's caliber, it would be like throwing an egg at a stone.

"You think I'm no match? He is just a rookie sailing in the first half of the Grand Line!" Onigumo sneered, his eight swords crackling with Armament Haki. "Eating a Logia Devil Fruit doesn't make you invincible!"

Ace's lips curled into a smirk. He didn't flinch as Onigumo rushed toward him with Moonwalk.

Suddenly, a blinding flash of light filled the sky, followed by the deafening roar of thunder. A thunder dragon, crackling with energy, appeared in the air, coiling and screeching violently.

"What?!" Onigumo's eyes widened in shock. Instinctively, he raised his eight swords, now glowing with Armament Haki, to shield himself.

"Boom!"

The thunder dragon smashed into the swords, sending out a massive shockwave. Under Onigumo's disbelieving gaze, the Haki protecting his blades began to falter and crack under the sheer power of the lightning.

"Arrgh!" Onigumo screamed as the lightning coursed through his body.

"Moonwalk!"

Momonga, reacting instantly, disappeared from the deck of the warship. His blade, wrapped in Armament Haki, cut through the lightning, breaking it apart and rescuing Onigumo.

"What a terrifying devil fruit ability," Momonga muttered, his pupils narrowing in shock. The pure strength of the Devil Fruit's power had shattered Onigumo's Haki—a feat that was both violent and awe-inspiring.

Momonga quickly retrieved Onigumo, carrying him back to the warship.

"Bah!"

Suddenly, a voice rang out from above. "Think you can challenge our king? You're not even close."

Nami stood, lightning flickering around her, a confident smile on her face as she wielded the Clima-Tact.

"That ability… it's the Thunder Fruit!" Chaton exclaimed, his expression grim. "One of the most powerful Logia fruits!"

Momonga, having set Onigumo down, turned toward Nami. "Thunder Fruit? No wonder its power is so overwhelming—it even broke through Onigumo's Armament Haki."

"Is it even stronger than Sakazuki's Lava-Lava Fruit?" Onigumo muttered through gritted teeth, still trembling from the shock.

The realization that such a formidable Logia power was now in the hands of a pirate enraged him. Onigumo, who believed in absolute justice, glowered in frustration.

"Continue firing! Destroy Enies Lobby immediately!" Chaton ordered, his voice laced with urgency.

"Do you still think you can fire at will with me here?" Ace's voice cut through the chaos as he stood before the fleet of warships. His Haki surged, the dark purple-black aura intensifying with each word.

"If you want to fight me, go call Sengoku or Akainu. You're not worthy, Marine trash."

"Boom!!!"

An overwhelming force erupted from Ace, sending massive waves crashing across the sea. The sheer pressure of his Conqueror's Haki swept over the fleet, causing ten of the Navy Rear Admirals to roll their eyes and collapse.

In an instant, 10,000 elite Marine soldiers were down—defeated by the force of Ace's will alone.

"C-Conqueror's Haki?!"

Momonga dropped to one knee, beads of sweat trickling down his face as he struggled to withstand the pressure. This intensity... It was unlike anything he had ever felt!

Only one man on the seas wielded Haki of this caliber—the red-haired Shanks, one of the Four Emperors!

Could it be that Portgas D. Ace's Conqueror's Haki rivaled even that of Shanks?!

The realization hit Momonga like a thunderbolt, his pupils contracting in shock.
