Chapter 492: Chapter 492: Phantasm Enel vs Group 3
Alvida, Maya, Mikita, and Nojiko continued along the winding path. Towering trees loomed overhead, their thick branches intertwined to form a natural canopy. The sunlight filtered through in scattered beams.
"There are lots of trees around here," Maya remarked.
"Not just trees," Mikita added, pointing ahead. "Look at those flowers," she added.
Nojiko followed her gaze and nodded thoughtfully. "Those flowers might have honey," she said.
Alvida raised Seraphina and brought it down. The powerful strike crushed the flowers. There was 5x Honey from it.
"That was harsh," Nojiko remarked as she smiled at Alvida.
"It got the job done," Mikita said. They walked down the path until they saw an altar with a shiny orb.
"Looks like we found one," Nojiko said.
"I wonder who it will be," Mikita said as she cracked her knuckles.
"Like my love said, if it is a Yonko or Admiral or someone on that strength we fall back," Alvida said.
They all nodded and walked towards the shiny orb. There were some markings on the floor. The floor around the altar was concrete.
As they stepped onto the concrete, the orb started to glow. Suddenly everyone got a vision of many people. They were holding the orb. The bunny animal looked terrified. The people held the orb and it started to glow. They saw a silhouette of something.
"That silhouette was the same as the drawing," Mikita remarked.
Suddenly, the orb started to glow. There was a bright light. From the bright light a figure started to form. They saw a pale-skinned man with a well-toned body. He was standing very tall. He had a slim face, and blond hair. His eyebrows were black and thick. His nose was slim. His earlobes stretched all the way to his chest. He did not have a shirt on. He wore baggy pants and shoes.
"It is Enel," Nojiko said. She thought back to when they had faced his forces. Nojiko saw how Enel launched a lightning bolt at Ben.
"He will be strong," Maya remarked. She had heard stories about him from everyone.
"Your call?" Mikita asked, glancing at Alvida with a curious smirk.
Alvida tilted her head. A smile tugged at her lips. "We'll need to be careful, but we can take him down," she said firmly, gripping Seraphina. "Besides," she added, her eyes narrowing playfully at Mikita, "you were never going to back down anyway."
Mikita laughed lightly. "You know me too well," she replied.
"My love always does," Alvida teased.
Mikita rolled her eyes. "You never miss a chance, do you?" she remarked.
"We've got five Heal Drinks," Maya interjected.
"He certainly knows how to keep us prepared," Nojiko said with a small smile.
Alvida chuckled. "He knows best, my love," Alvida said.
"Thunder Roar," Phantasm Enel said as he shot off a massive beam of lightning towards the group. The lightning raced towards them.
"Watch out," Mikita said as they all jumped out of the way. The beam of lightning hit the ground and scorched the earth.
"Shave," Alvida said as she vanished in a blur of speed, closing the distance between herself and Phantasm Enel in an instant. "Kanabo Swing," she added, gripping her massive mace, Seraphina, with both hands. She swung it with all her might and slammed into Phantasm Enel's chest. The sheer force of the blow made him stagger back a step, the ground beneath his feet cracking from the impact.
Enel steadied himself, his expression unfazed but his eyes cold. He reached out, his hand landing on Alvida's shoulder. "Vari 100,000,000 V," he said. Electric energy began to crackle and hum, building rapidly in his palm. The glowing blue charge intensified, radiating an ominous light.
Before Alvida could react, the stored electricity discharged in a flash of blue light. The sheer force of the attack sent her hurtling backward. She twisted midair, planting her feet firmly on the ground as she landed, sliding to a halt. Smoke rose faintly from her body as she stared at him.
"Are you okay Alvida?" Nojiko asked.
She took a deep breath, her hand gripping Seraphina tightly. "Most of it slipped right off me," Alvida said. "But some of that hit harder than I expected," she added.
Mikita sprinted towards Phantasm Enel. She jumped in the air. "Featherfall," she said as her body became almost weightless as she floated upward. She hovered briefly. "Gravity Stomp," she said, increasing her weight to an immense level, transforming herself into a human meteor. She descended rapidly, her foot aimed directly at Enel.
Phantasm Enel raised his golden staff just in time. Mikita's foot connected with the staff, and the sheer weight behind her attack created a powerful shockwave. Enel's grip faltered slightly, and his hand was forced back from the impact.
"Shave," Maya said as she disappeared from view, reappearing in front of Phantasm Enel. "Cess Cleave," Maya said, gripping her sword tightly with both hands and slashing downward in a single motion. The blade struck Enel across the chest, leaving a deep, bloodied gash.
"Thunderbird Funeral," he growled, conjuring several bird-shaped lightning constructs. The thunderbirds screeched towards them. Maya and Mikita leaped out of the way. The thunderbirds crashed into the ground, exploding on impact, sending shockwaves of electricity rippling outward. Sparks surged across the battlefield. Mikita and Maya jumped out of the way.
Phantasm Enel's eyes narrowed on Mikita. "30,000,000 V Hino," he said as he created a massive, eagle-shaped entity of pure electricity materialized. The creature shrieked as it dove toward her.
"Iron Body," Mikita quickly said as she hardened her muscles like steel. The electric eagle struck her directly, resulting in a deafening explosion. Mikita cried out as electricity coursed through her body, and she was hurled backward, landing with a heavy thud.
"Mikita," Nojiko yelled. "Cloud Surge," Nojiko added as dark, stormy clouds materialised around Phantasm Enel. "Lightning Drill," Nojiko added as she combined bolts of lightning into a spiraling force of energy.
"Thunder Roar," Phantasm Enel countered, unleashed an enormous beam of lightning that cut through the air. The two forces collided in an explosive burst, sending shockwaves rippling through the area. Enel charged forward, his golden staff raised high. He swung it down at Nojiko, but her form dissolved into clouds, evading the attack entirely.
Nojiko reformed behind him, her hand enveloped in a swirling mass of cloud. "Lightning Blast," she shouted, summoning a concentrated bolt of electricity and hurling it directly at Enel's face.
Phantasm Enel took the lightning bolt in the face. At that moment, "Kanabo Breaker," Alvida said as she focused her strength into a strike as she gripped Seraphina and swung her mace at his face. Alvida hit his face. She broke his lip and some blood could be seen.
Maya, who was close, jumped towards Phantasm Enel. "Cess Slice," Maya said as she gripped her sword and sliced vertically. Enel got hit and there was a mark on his chest.
"Kiten," Phantasm Enel roared, summoning a crackling wolf-shaped mass of lightning. The electrical wolf snarled, its eyes glowing an intense blue, before leaping directly at Maya with blinding speed.
Maya had no time to react as the attack struck her squarely. Electricity surged through her body, and she let out a sharp cry of pain. Her muscles seized, and blood sprayed from her mouth as the force of the attack sent her flying backward, crashing into the ground with a heavy thud.
Alvida tightened her grip around her mace as she swung her massive mace directly at Phantasm Enel's face. The mace connected with a thunderous crack, and Enel's cheek reddened from the impact.
Phantasm Enel recovered quickly, his golden staff humming with electrical energy. He lunged forward, aiming a strike at Alvida's midsection. Alvida's reflexes kicked in, and she leapt to the side, narrowly avoiding the blow. Her feet hit the ground as she spun around and swung her mace in a wide arc toward him.
Phantasm Enel ducked under the attack. He countered with a swift punch aimed at Alvida's torso. Alvida sidestepped fluidly. She retaliated instantly, bringing her mace down in a diagonal swing. Phantasm Enel managed to dodge again, but this time his footing faltered slightly. Alvida noticed and swung Seraphina and hit his chest.
"Tornado Shroud," Nojiko said. The clouds around her swirled violently, forming a rapidly rotating cyclone that engulfed Phantasm Enel. The force of the spinning vortex lifted him off his feet and flung him high into the air like a ragdoll.
As he ascended, "Kanabo Quake," Alvida shouted. She leaped high into the sky, gripping her massive mace with both hands. With all her strength, she came crashing down onto Phantasm Enel mid-air. The impact generated a seismic shockwave that radiated through his body as he was violently slammed back down to the ground.
A massive dust cloud erupted from the impact, temporarily obscuring their view. But as it cleared, Phantasm Enel was already rising, his golden staff in hand. "60,000,000 V Jamboulé," he bellowed as he summoned a colossal serpentine dragon made of pure electricity. The electric beast crackled with deadly energy as it lunged toward Alvida, roaring with the intensity of a thunderstorm.
The dragon struck Alvida mid-air, its electric charge crackling against her skin. Most of the electricity slipped off her thanks to her Devil Fruit power, but the sheer force of the attack sent her hurtling backward, crashing into the ground with a resounding thud. She groaned, momentarily stunned.
Nojiko's eyes blazed with fury as she saw Alvida hit the ground. She looked at Mikita and Maya who were slowly getting up. Her heart pounded, her blood boiling at the sight of her crew, her sister being hurt. She lunged forward, the clouds around her responding to her rage. "Storm Hammer," she cried. Thick storm clouds gathered and condensed into a massive hammer-like weapon in her hands, crackling with raw electricity. With a roar, she brought it down on Phantasm Enel.
The blow struck him squarely, sending him flying backward like a cannonball. He crashed into the ground with enough force to carve a trench in the earth, dust and debris scattering in all directions. Nojiko staggered slightly, panting from the effort.
Nearby, Mikita struggled to her feet, wincing from her burns and bruises. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a can of Heal Drink, popping it open with shaky hands. She downed the liquid in one gulp, the restorative energy coursing through her body as her injuries healed.
Maya followed suit, drinking her own Heal Drink. As the warmth of healing washed over her, she wiped her mouth and stood tall again.
Alvida shrugged the dust off. She thought she was okay. "Everyone okay?" she asked, her tone as commanding as ever.
The group nodded in unison. "I feel bad drinking one," Maya admitted, looking down at the empty can in her hand.
Alvida smirked. "My love would be furious if you didn't," she teased.
The air crackled with tension as Phantasm Enel pushed himself to his feet once more.
"Let's finish this," Alvida commanded.
