Chapter 136: Valley of the Gods (Roger's Arrival)

On the rough sea, a pirate ship sailed swiftly through the waves.

"Rayleigh! Are you sure the record pointer Shakky gave us is accurate? We've been sailing for so long and still haven't arrived. Could she be lying to us?" Roger asked, frowning as he checked the record pointer on his wrist.

"Hmm, Shakky wouldn't lie to me! Besides, what benefit would she gain from misleading us? We should be getting close!" Rayleigh replied with a helpless look.

Roger had asked the same question several times already, and even Rayleigh was starting to get annoyed.

"Oh! Alright then! Full speed ahead!" Roger said, suppressing the restlessness in his heart.

Suddenly, Roger froze and looked in a specific direction. His heart began to race.

"Quick! Sail in that direction! Hurry!" Roger shouted urgently to Jabba, the helmsman.

Jabba, though confused by Roger's sudden command, quickly turned the rudder in the direction Roger indicated.

"Roger! Are you crazy? Didn't we agree to follow the pointer? Why are we suddenly changing course?" Rayleigh grabbed Roger and demanded an explanation.

"Rayleigh! Trust me! It's over there—they're telling me!" Roger said, looking at Rayleigh with an unusually serious expression.

Rayleigh stared at Roger for a moment, his confusion giving way to acceptance. "Alright, I trust you."

The ship adjusted its course, heading toward the direction Roger indicated.

Meanwhile, inside the Valley of the Gods, chaos reigned at the port.

Countless pirates were rampaging, looting treasures, and burning everything in their path.

The navy soldiers, quickly regrouping, began pushing back against the pirates.

"Kill!"

"For justice!"

The cries of battle filled the air as both sides clashed ferociously.

Though outnumbered, the navy, led by organized officers, managed to suppress the disorganized pirates.

Even the nearly 50,000-strong pirate fleet found itself struggling against the navy's smaller but more cohesive forces.

On the outskirts of the island, the battle between Garp and Whitebeard raged on.

Whitebeard's fist, surrounded by a vibrating halo of light, clashed with Garp's Haki-coated punch.

Boom!

The impact forced both men back several steps, their strength evenly matched.

"Kulalalalala! This is exhilarating!" Whitebeard laughed heartily.

Garp, on the other hand, eyed him cautiously. "Whitebeard, if you don't truly want to be a pirate, why are you here?"

"Kulalalala! To steal treasure, of course! What else do pirates do?" Whitebeard replied with a grin, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Garp was momentarily speechless but quickly raised his fists to resume the fight.

Their battle intensified as Whitebeard's weapon, the Kusunokiri, clashed repeatedly with Garp's Haki-infused fists. The sheer power of their attacks caused the ground to crack and the clouds above to part.

Elsewhere on the island, the Golden Lion Shiki floated mid-air, calmly puffing on a cigar. Around him, the battlefield looked like it had been plowed, with overturned earth and debris scattered everywhere.

The CP0 leader, Shiki's opponent, was nowhere to be seen, save for a severed arm lying among the debris.

Having finished his fight, Shiki chose to remain in place, observing the chaos.

At the heart of the island, Rocks was mercilessly pummeling Saint Satan, one of the Five Elders.

Blood dripped from Saint Satan's forehead, and his body was riddled with wounds. Despite his best efforts, he was no match for Rocks' overwhelming strength.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Linlin, Ochoku, and Silver Axe stormed into the grand hall, cutting down any resistance in their path.

Even the Celestial Dragons, desperate to protect themselves, joined the fight. But despite their efforts, the Rocks Pirates continued to gain ground.

---

Back at the port, a pirate ship flying a flag adorned with a large mustache docked unnoticed amidst the chaos.

Roger stood at the bow, his face grave as he surveyed the carnage.

"We must stop Rocks' plans," Roger said firmly.

His crew stood behind him, ready to follow his lead.

"Let's go! Target the Rocks Pirates!" Roger commanded, leaping onto the shore and charging toward the distant battlefield.

"Still as impulsive as ever," Rayleigh muttered, shaking his head as he followed.

Jabba smiled, pulling out his dual axes. He rushed into the crowd of pirates, cutting them down with swift and brutal efficiency.

The pirates, already disorganized from fighting the navy, were caught off guard by the sudden assault from Roger's crew and scattered in panic.

Roger and Rayleigh moved swiftly toward the battle between Garp and Whitebeard.

From a distance, they saw the two combatants standing amid the destruction.

"Divine Departure!"

Roger unleashed a powerful slash that separated Garp and Whitebeard, forcing them to stop their fight.

"Roger?"

Both Garp and Whitebeard exclaimed in surprise at the sight of him.

"Roger! Why are you here?" Garp asked, his tone a mix of shock and curiosity.

Roger touched the back of his head and grinned sheepishly. "Ahaha! I came to deal with Rocks!"

At his words, Whitebeard instantly grew wary, his eyes narrowing as he regarded Roger.

Sensing Whitebeard's hostility, Roger quickly raised his hands in a gesture of peace.

"Whitebeard, relax! I'm only here to deal with Rocks. I won't attack anyone else unless they get in my way."

Whitebeard's wariness didn't fade immediately, but Roger's sincerity gave him pause.

"Listen," Roger continued, his tone serious. "Rocks is a threat to the entire world. If we don't stop him here, the chaos he'll unleash will be unimaginable. Once Rocks is gone, the Rocks Pirates will fall apart. Isn't that what you've been wanting? You can finally create your own crew and chase your dream."

Whitebeard didn't respond right away, his expression unreadable as he considered Roger's words.
