"Boom!"

A deafening explosion shattered the air, followed by the wind's roaring turbulence and seawater's violent crashing.

The cacophony of sounds overlapped, leaving everyone temporarily deafened, their ears ringing. The circular G-18 Fortress crumbled and splintered in that instant.

Its massive foundation and stone debris floated upward, rising alongside the Golden Lion into the sky.

Marines stumbled and screamed in terror, desperately grabbing onto anything they could.

Yet, they couldn't stop themselves from tumbling along with the falling debris, plunging into the sea below.

Everything was in chaos.

"Jihahaha! Still not showing yourself, Arashi?" the Golden Lion, Shiki, laughed boisterously.

"Vice Admiral Arashi isn't here!" shouted Buggy, his voice filled with defiance. "We won't let you wreak havoc here, Golden Lion Shiki!"

Behind him stood Smoker and Ashura, both with grim and furious expressions.

This place, G-18 Fortress, had been their home recently; in moments, Shiki had destroyed it.

Amidst the chaos, numerous Marine ships swayed in the turbulent waves, scrambling to rescue their comrades from the water.

"Take him down!" Smoker roared, his voice filled with rage. "I don't care if he's the Golden Lion or Roger himself!"

Ashura silently drew the saber from his waist.

In the next moment, the three of them charged forward. After running a few steps, their figures vanished.

Soru!

Almost simultaneously, the trio appeared around Shiki, positioning themselves at his front, back, and right flank.

With perfect coordination, they struck simultaneously, their blades slicing through the air.

Even one of the legendary Three Great Pirates, Shiki, paused momentarily in surprise at their synchronization.

Then, with a faint red glow in his eyes, Shiki's body flickered, leaving afterimages in the air.

"You snot-nosed brats dare to challenge me?" Shiki sneered.

With a sudden lift of his right foot, Shiki swung his sword.

Buggy was split cleanly in two by the slash, while Smoker and Ashura blocked with their blades, only to be sent flying by the overwhelming force of the attack.

"Hmph!" Shiki snorted coldly. With both hands, he slapped the air below him.

"Lion's Mane: Ground Surge!"

The ground beneath them heaved, rising like a tidal wave and engulfing the three Marines in an instant, leaving only their heads exposed.

"Damn it!" Buggy shouted, struggling against the earthen grip. His intense training under Arashi had hardened his resolve, and now, seeing his comrades fall only fueled his rage.

"This isn't your time yet! Stay put and behave!" Shiki said coldly.

His gaze shifted as his swords, which replaced his missing legs, touched the ground. Locking onto a towering figure in the distance, Shiki's expression grew stern.

"Douglas Bullet!" Shiki spat the name. "So, all you remnants of the Roger Pirates have gone to serve under Arashi, huh? Where is he? I came here to settle my grudge with him!"

Bullet stood silently, a cold smirk on his face. His presence radiated overwhelming killing intent, chilling the air around him.

As Arashi's top-ranking officer in charge of the Marine forces, Bullet's rank had already risen to that of Rear Admiral.

Over time, as the instructor of G-18 Fortress, Bullet had grown attached to those he trained. Seeing the destruction of his base filled him with boundless fury.

"I don't need him to deal with you," Bullet said icily.

In an instant, he vanished, appearing right in front of Shiki. His eyes narrowed sharply.

"Buzz!"

A wave of Conqueror's Haki erupted from Bullet, sending Shiki's golden hair flying upward. Bullet's right leg lifted high before slamming down.

"Rankyaku!"

A massive, crescent-shaped slash tore through the air toward Shiki. With a slight twist of his body, Shiki narrowly avoided the attack, a mocking smirk on his face.

"Lion's Thousand Slice Valley!" Shiki countered, his twin swords unleashing a flurry of rapid slashes.

Bullet raised his arms and braced himself.

Tekkai! Armament Haki!

The blades collided with Bullet's reinforced body, sparks flying as if striking steel. While the slashes didn't cut through, their sheer force pushed Bullet back.

"You're just another lackey from Roger's crew, daring to raise your fists against me," Shiki sneered.

In truth, Shiki had long considered waiting, biding his time to recover his strength before taking revenge on Arashi.

Yet, he knew time was not on his side. Without his legs, his power had diminished. Age would rob him of any chance at victory if he waited too long.

So, after painstakingly gathering his strength and controlling a fleet of floating islands, Shiki finally made his move.

Bullet didn't respond, charging forward with fists flying. Shiki deftly dodged each attack, his movements light and unrestrained.

"So eager to prove yourself, huh? Too bad this era doesn't belong to you yet!" Shiki taunted, his voice dripping with contempt.

With a smirk, Shiki soared backward. Beneath him, the ground twisted and roared, forming a massive lion that charged at Bullet with a deafening roar.

Shiki's gaze swept over the battlefield, his eyes narrowing.

"I'll collect some interest first," he said coldly.

Floating higher into the air, Shiki created distance between himself and the remnants of the G-18 Fortress.

Then, he glanced upward, his expression filled with menace as a colossal shadow loomed overhead.

"Let me show you the ruthlessness of a true pirate king!" Shiki declared.

"Jihahahaha!"

With a roar of laughter, Shiki pulled downward with both hands.

"Boom!"

The massive floating island plummeted, hurtling toward the remains of the G-18 Fortress.

Bullet's head snapped upward, his pupils narrowing as the enormous shadow descended.

Around him, Marines cried out in terror, abandoning the crumbling fortress and diving into the churning sea.

The waves surged violently, splashing against the ruins. Eveya, trembling as she watched the overwhelming spectacle, clutched a Den Den Mushi.

"So… this is the power of a legendary pirate?" she murmured, her hands shaking as she dialed a number.

The Den Den Mushi connected, and a calm, gentle voice answered.

"Vice Admiral!"

....

Far away on Skypiea, Arashi was deep in discussion with Vegapunk, exploring the mysteries of Devil Fruits and lineage factor technology.

To Arashi, advancements in science were the key to increasing his influence and power.

They had even discussed using electricity to improve civilian lives, introducing new technologies to revolutionize daily living.

Vegapunk, always inclined toward benefiting society, was delighted by the idea.

At that moment, the Den Den Mushi in Arashi's pocket rang.

"Vice Admiral!" came the frantic voice. "The Golden Lion is here!"

The destruction of the G-18 Fortress... Our losses are devastating!"

In an instant, Vegapunk noticed the drastic change in the man's expression before him. Without even bidding farewell, Arashi's body erupted with crackling lightning.

A towering column of thunder shot skyward, illuminating the surroundings.

Vegapunk caught a fleeting glimpse of the figure through the blinding radiance, now transformed.

Five drums adorned with tomoe patterns appeared behind him, surrounded by arcs of violet-blue electricity linking them together.

Arashi's jet-black hair rapidly extended to his waist, sparking with electricity.

His violet eyes glowed with lightning, and his once-angular features softened slightly, now exuding a serene yet intense presence.

A flowing ribbon of electricity coiled behind him, and a storm-cloud-patterned qilin emerged across his chest, shimmering with lightning.

His entire body became shrouded in blue arcs of electricity. With a flash, the thunderclap faded, and Arashi vanished from sight.

"What was that?" Vegapunk muttered, trembling all over. Even from that brief moment, the immense pressure and sudden heat rise shook him to his core.

Looking down, he realized that the very ground where Arashi had stood had melted into magma.

"Is this the true power of a Devil Fruit?" Vegapunk whispered, his body trembling with both fear and excitement. His eyes gleamed with an almost fanatical curiosity.

As a scientist, he had long dismissed the myths surrounding Devil Fruits—claims of demonic spirits inhabiting the fruit, offering their powers in exchange for the eater's soul.

To him, every phenomenon begged to be scientifically explored.

In the void of the sky, an electric arc raced forward at a terrifying speed—true lightning speed, approximately half the speed of light.

At this moment, Arashi had truly become lightning incarnate. In the blink of an eye, he traversed the Calm Belt from Skypiea, appearing over the West Blue.

Within another fraction of a second, he halted, scanning the area through an electromagnetic field. Then, with another brilliant flash, he disappeared once more.

Fast. Incomprehensibly fast. He currently travels approximately 666,666,666 Kilometers per hour.

When Arashi unleashed the full potential of his Rumble-Rumble Fruit, his terrifying speed was more than half of the speed of light.

(T/N: Speed of Light 1.08 Billion Kilometer per hour. That's what Google said)

In mere moments, he appeared directly in front of Golden Lion Shiki.

"BOOM!"

The heavens roared as countless lightning bolts descended, crashing into the earth around them.

"SHIKI!"

Arashi's icy voice thundered. The sky seemed to respond to his rage as if his emotions were rewriting the natural order.

"Arashi?!"

Golden Lion Shiki's pupils contracted in disbelief. Unlike their last encounter at Marineford, the Arashi before him was utterly transformed.

His waist-length hair crackled with electricity, flowing wildly in the stormy winds.

His violet eyes radiated an oppressive aura, and four thunder drums emblazoned with tomoe patterns hovered behind him while arcs of electricity coiled around his limbs.

Shiki's heart skipped a beat. For the first time in years, he felt an unfamiliar pang of unease—a gut reaction to a force he couldn't quite comprehend.

"BOOM!"

The entire sky echoed with thunder, synchronized with the pounding hearts of all who bore witness.

"You've pushed the powers of a Logia to a whole new frontier," Shiki muttered gravely.

Arashi didn't bother responding. Instead, he raised his right hand toward the sky.

"CRACK!"

Over thirty meters long, a massive lightning spear materialized in his grasp, its edges pulsating with black and red electricity.

"Did you come here to die, Shiki?" Arashi's chilling voice sliced through the storm.

Clutching the lightning spear, Arashi flicked his wrist. The weapon traced an elegant arc, humming with lethal energy.

Behind him, the sky ignited in a violet-blue glow as countless arcs of electricity surged, forming a breathtaking spectacle.

Even the tumultuous sea below fell into an eerie stillness.

On the Marine ships nearby, the soldiers watched in awe, their faces a mix of exhilaration and reverence as they gazed at the figure in the sky.

"Arashi..." whispered Eveya, her voice trembling with emotion. Tears streamed down her face, overwhelmed by the divine sight above.

Bucky struggled free from the rubble, craning his neck upward. His shouts echoed with fervent excitement.

Even Smoker and Ashura, despite their injuries, felt their spirits soar.

"Lance of Longinus," Arashi intoned. His voice was low but carried immeasurable weight.

The lightning spear in his hand quivered, illuminating the sky. Instantly, it shot forward, leaving behind a brilliant light trail.

Its speed was indescribable—far beyond anything the eye could follow.

Shiki's eyes widened as crimson flashed in his pupils, his Observation Haki pushed to its limit. Yet even with his heightened senses, he was a fraction too slow.

"ARGH!"

The lightning spear pierced his abdomen, hurling him backward across the sky. For miles, he tumbled before slamming into the ground.

Blood spurted from his mouth as he gritted his teeth, his right hand clutching the spear embedded in his body. With a furious roar, he yanked it out and hurled it aside.

"BOOM!"

The spear struck the ocean, unleashing a deafening explosion that vaporized the surface water for miles, creating a massive fog of steam.

Shiki gasped, his heart racing. If not for his Armament Haki, the lightning would have reduced him to ash upon contact.

"This bastard's strength has grown even further!" he thought, his shock mingled with a deep-seated rage.

Gritting his teeth, Shiki's eyes burned with defiance. "This fight... will end in either your death or mine!"

With a roar, he surged into the air. His hands moved in a commanding gesture, pulling downward.

"RUMBLE!"

Massive islands and several smaller ones began to tremble and descend from the skies.

Each hurtled toward Arashi, an unrelenting barrage of landmass turned into deadly weapons.

Arashi tilted his head upward, violet eyes blazing. His figure appeared insignificant compared to the colossal islands above—a speck against titanic forces.

Yet he stood his ground, undaunted.

"Two Billion Volts..." Arashi's voice rumbled.

"RAIJIN!"

Thunder boomed as Arashi's body erupted in radiant blue light. Lightning surged into his form, transforming him into a colossal entity of pure energy.

The tomoe-marked drums behind him spun rapidly, emitting booming drumbeats reverberating across the sky.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Within moments, his body expanded to a height of one hundred meters, then quickly grew further until he towered at over a kilometer.

His entire being shimmered with the destructive yet awe-inspiring power of electricity.

His black hair shot upward like a raging storm, and his energy-infused body glowed rawly. Arashi's presence distorted the air itself.

The temperature across miles of ocean surged, though his perfect control over the lightning ensured the energy didn't completely unleash its destructive potential.

Lifting his immense hands, Arashi met Shiki's descending islands head-on.

"BOOM!"

A shockwave erupted as Arashi caught the first massive island, halting its descent.

The resulting gusts of wind roared across the battlefield, pushing the ocean into towering waves.

"He... he stopped it!"

Below, the Marines erupted into cheers. In their eyes, Arashi had become a godlike figure, their hope and salvation.
