One Piece: Alucard the Immortal

Before anyone could even fire, no one noticed that Alucard had already seized the nearest World Government agent.

Countless bullets struck Alucard's body, including his heart.

As agents capable of participating in CP organizations, even at the level of a mere pawn, they possessed a certain degree of skill. Even amidst such a chaotic spray of bullets, there were no friendly fire incidents; all the shots accurately hit Alucard himself.

Including... his heart!

"Ugh, ugh... Ugh, ahh!"

Suddenly, the agents closest to Alucard let out screams. Everyone stared intently, watching as their bodies were strangely enveloped and pierced by eerie black tendrils of blood, a gruesome sight.

In that instant, everyone involuntarily ceased their actions, utterly stunned by the shocking events unfolding before them.

As the three agents' bodies were torn to shreds by the blood-formed tendrils, Alucard's body, and even his clothes, began to regenerate, returning him to normal in less than ten seconds.

This was the power of Blacklight Virus LV3, a new ability Alucard had gained after eliminating a pirate with a 40 million Berry bounty.

If Alucard's greatest weakness before awakening his River of Death power was his heart, the enhanced Blacklight Virus could effectively compensate for this flaw.

The characteristic of a vampire is immortality. The Blacklight Virus, however, is about devouring.

Blacklight Virus LV3's awakened ability is precisely devouring. By consuming others' bodies, one can transform into their appearance, gain their memories, and regenerate their own body. A vampire physique cannot regenerate a heart, but the Blacklight Virus can.

Generally speaking, if a heart is destroyed, there might be about ten seconds of survival time. But for a monstrosity like Alucard, forget ten seconds, he might not die even after half a minute!

And that half-minute could allow him to do so much: consume one, or even several, people, using their life force to regenerate his heart!

It compensated for the weakness he had before awakening the River of Death!

"N-no, impossible!"

Bradley's eyes were practically bulging from their sockets. He had heard the title, "Alucard the Immortal," but witnessing it in person was even more monstrous than the rumors.

It was no surprise; seeing a body reduced to a mangled mess then perfectly regenerating... how many people could witness such a sight without flinching?

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Alucard strafed the World Government agents, completely ignoring their retaliatory fire. The moment his heart was hit, Alucard would immediately cease his attack, target a living person, and consume them with the Blacklight Virus.

If Alucard's ultimate technique, the "River of Death," was a place to store "revival coins," then the Blacklight Virus was what allowed him to convert living people into "revival coins."

However, the Blacklight Virus's devouring generally targeted weaker individuals. Alucard had once attempted to directly consume a 30 million Berry bounty pirate, but it proved unexpectedly difficult. He only succeeded after severely weakening them.

It seemed that to more perfectly utilize these powers, he needed to advance to the next level.

This was Alucard's new method for dealing with cannon fodder. But against powerful opponents, this tactic would be much harder to pull off.

For example, in a fight with someone like Whitebeard, would Whitebeard give him the chance to escape and collect "revival coins?" Half a minute to collect "revival coins" from an opponent of Whitebeard's caliber would be incredibly difficult.

However, the idiotic agents of CP7 before him were merely trash-tier. At least CP9 and CP0 level opponents were needed to truly challenge him.

Kill! Heart pierced! Collect revival coin!

Kill again! Heart pierced again! Collect another revival coin!

This cycle continued for about a minute, turning the small tavern into a hell. Finally, only Bradley, the leader of CP7, remained.

"Hooo..."

Alucard let out a light exhale. Through the Blacklight Virus, even his clothes could regenerate. As Alucard turned and walked towards Bradley, the CP7 commander collapsed to the ground, terrified.

"Hehe!"

Alucard's throat rumbled with a deep laugh. Under Bradley's horrified gaze, Alucard's left hand formed a blade-like edge and plunged directly into his heart!

SPLASH!

Blood spurted out uncontrollably. Just like with the agents he'd consumed earlier, countless blood-formed tendrils pierced and enveloped Bradley's body, eventually integrating into Alucard.

As his physical strength and life force recovered, Bradley's memories flooded into Alucard's mind.

"Find Alucard! No failures allowed!"

"Immediately! If you can bring him directly, that's best. You're authorized to use any means necessary!"

"This matter has already been approved by the World Government."

"Vegapunk's scientific research team has already departed. If this initiative proves effective, Alucard's importance will be unparalleled. He absolutely cannot be killed."

Bradley's memories continuously poured into Alucard's mind. Within these memories, several masked men in white robes were giving orders to Bradley, but their identities and the deeper implications remained unknown.
