"My answer remains unchanged, Shiki! If you insist, then kill me here and now!" Roger stated without hesitation.

"Good! I'll grant you your wish!"

Alucard was momentarily thrown off balance by the intense tremor. When he stabilized himself, he realized his ship was dozens of meters higher than before, as if he were standing on a mountain overlooking everyone below. This gave him a strong sense of déjà vu from his previous fight with Whitebeard.

Alucard looked to the side and, as expected, saw giant waves rising, not at all inferior to, and even threatening to surpass, the tsunami caused by Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor Fruit.

RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

The tsunami beneath Alucard's ship was merely the first, and a small one at that. Soon, wave after wave, some reaching over a hundred meters high, surged like hunters targeting their prey, repeatedly crashing down on Golden Lion Shiki and Roger, who were at the center of it all.

"W-w-what is that?!" Buggy, who had just barely blocked a cannon shot with his Chop-Chop Fruit ability, screamed as he saw the monstrous tsunamis engulfing them. It was like the end of the world. He hadn't even been this scared when Shiki's fifty-plus warships appeared simultaneously.

At this moment, Rayleigh stood at the bow with his sword drawn. The mermaid figurehead at the front of the Jackson had already been shattered. Seeing the tsunamis that threatened to swallow the sky, Rayleigh, for some reason, actually smiled.

The giant wave-petals were slowly closing in. Even if Shiki made his fleet fly, they couldn't escape being swallowed by the giant waves.

It was too late!

Alucard and his ship were now at the peak of the "petals," looking down at the pirate ships, small as ants, below. He grinned sinisterly. "Oh well, if you all die like this, you can only blame bad luck."

In an instant, the petals closed, devouring everything within.

"Save the Devil Fruit users first!" Roger shouted the moment the waves crashed down. Shanks, true to being Buggy's good friend, grabbed him by the scruff of his neck the instant the waves descended, refusing to let go, no matter how much he struggled.

Several hours later, Marine Headquarters in Marineford received news: in the battle of the Edd War Sea, the Roger Pirates and Shiki's fleet were engulfed by a giant wave, a phenomenon seen only once in a century. Both sides were completely scattered and swept into the sea.
