Before that man could even say anything in response the manager cut the phone. After putting down the phone the manager took a deep breath.

He leaned back in his expensive office chair. And thinking about Adam he said to himself "I don't understand anything. What does Adam want to do? Such a good deal had just come to us. And that too it had come on our path just like that. Without any real effort on our part." Saying this the manager got very frustrated.

He was frustrated by this suspicious and paranoid behavior of Adam's. He did not know for sure if this was a trap or not. For him this was just a very big and golden opportunity.

The kind of opportunity which his new company desperately needed to establish itself in this competitive market. But because of Adam's direct order he had just let this great opportunity go from his hands. He was regretting it a lot.

Then he took another deep breath to calm himself down. And where he was sitting in his large office he stood up from his chair. And he went out of the office gate into the main bullpen area. Where he saw that many people were sitting and working at their desks at this time.

All of these people were the ones who were present in the list. The list which Adam had given to the manager a few weeks ago. He had recruited all of these talented people in just these few days. He then went over to the water purifier that was kept in the office.

He poured himself a glass of cold water. And after drinking that water he took another deep breath. And taking out his phone he went back into his own private office. So that he could call Adam and tell him everything that had just happened.

On the other hand Adam was still sitting in Annie's room. He was watching all of this unfold on his mobile phone. Although Adam did not know the name of that man who had made the offer. Otherwise he would have taken out as much information as he could about that man.

Adam got very upset. He was upset to see that the manager had cut that man's phone without taking any more information from him. Adam had thought that the manager would try to find out some more information about him.

After that Adam would have been able to see that man's true intentions. And he would have been able to know what that man was really thinking of doing.

The scene shifts.

And we see this man. The man whom the manager had refused just some time ago. He put his phone down on the large wooden table in his office.

In front of him two of his assistants were standing right in front of his table. They were waiting for his orders. One of the assistants who was a middle-aged man said "Sir what is the matter?" Then that man whose name was Locks.

Locks said to his assistant "It's a very strange thing. I had thought that they would easily take our order. And after that we would be able to proceed according to our plan. But it seems that things are not happening as easily as they should have." Hearing this his assistant was also very surprised.

Then that secretary asked Locks "Sir what do you think? Do you think they have found out about our scheme?" After hearing this Locks stood up from his chair. And standing a little away from the table he started to look out of the large window of his office.

And he said "I don't think so. There is something else wrong here. When I met that owner of theirs. I understood one thing just by looking at him. That he is not the real owner of that company. But that someone else is the real owner. This man is just a heavy show-off. He is a front. We have to find out who the real owner of this company is." After saying this he looked at his both secretaries.

He said "Immediately put your people on this job. I want to know who the real owner of that company is." After hearing this both the secretaries who were standing there nodded their heads in agreement. They would find out the truth for him.

And they immediately started to leave from there. Saying this "Sir we have understood your point. We will put our people on the job right now."

We see the manager again. Who at this time calls Adam. His mood was not good at all. Especially because of what Adam had just made him do. Adam immediately picked up the manager's call. Then the manager said "I have done what you told me to do." After hearing this

Adam said very calmly "I know that you are very angry right now. But you have to understand my point. Whatever I did was very necessary. It was necessary for this company to survive in this market." Hearing this the manager immediately said "I understand your point. But I still don't see any trap in this situation." After hearing this Adam let out a deep breath.

And he said "Listen to me very carefully. I don't want to take any unnecessary risks. Because we are in another country. And that too we are inside the Empire." After hearing this the manager also understood. What Adam was trying to say.

He had gone there and had felt it himself. That even though he was working here. But everyone looked at him with a different perspective. They considered the manager to be from a foreign country. Which the manager himself also felt every day.

Then Adam said again "We haven't stopped our work. And it's not like if this one client goes away from us then our whole business will shut down. We just have to stay away from that man for now." After hearing this the manager said "Okay. I respect your words. And I will try my best not to come into that man's sight." As soon as he heard this a smile spread on Adam's face.

Then the manager said "I don't understand your point so well. But still I know that what you are saying is..." The manager was about to complete his sentence. But then he suddenly stopped. Hearing this Adam was also very surprised.

He said "What's the matter manager?" Then the manager suddenly said "I am getting a call from this same man." Hearing this Adam suddenly said in a very surprised voice "What? Listen to my words. Take as much information as you can from him. Try to know as much as you can about him. I want his information." Hearing this the manager was very surprised.

He said "What? But you were just telling me to stay away from him." After hearing this Adam said "I need the information. Not you. You should stay away from him. And if he calls you for a meeting then you should refuse." Hearing this the manager understood. What Adam was trying to do.

Then the manager said "Okay." After saying this he cut the phone.

And then he picked up the other ringing phone. Where from the other side Locks said "You took a lot of time to pick up the call. Were you talking to your real boss about this deal?" Hearing this the manager was suddenly surprised.

There was a shocking expression on his face. He did not understand what to say. Then Locks started laughing. And he said "It seems I have caught your little secret."

On the other hand as soon as the manager's call with Adam had ended Adam immediately opened his One-Click Billionaire app again. In which he could see everything that was happening. As soon as he opened it and started to look at the manager's situation the ground slipped from under his feet.

Because he also wanted to know more about this man named Locks. But he did not know this. That Locks himself would find out about them so quickly. Adam knew that he had to tell the manager to act normal in this condition. But he did not have any way to communicate with him.

Although I am very surprised after hearing your words. That you have caught me so quickly." Adam who was watching all of this from his mobile phone was very surprised. At how quickly the manager had found a believable excuse. And that too it was such an excuse that even Adam himself was almost convinced that the manager was telling the truth.

Adam was quite sure that the man on the phone would also completely believe the manager's words. Although Adam also knew this. That if he did not believe it. Then they still had a chance to get out of this situation.

On the other hand as soon as Locks heard this he became completely silent. He was thinking. That the thing the manager had just said. There could be a lot of truth in it. It was a plausible explanation. But Locks was not going to be fooled so easily. He knew that he had to be careful. He had to verify this information himself.
