I ask that you help contain whatever my body outside might leak." Adrian stated as the Noblesse Inner Demon also told him that he might leak both nether and aether energy during the first challenge.

"I see. This old man understands as only a resolve forged by oneself can defeat the inner evils hidden in their souls. This old man will now return and make sure that you will not destroy the outside world from what is going to happen. Make sure to do everything you can to defeat him and trust this old man as well." Guru Polliwog stated.

"Thank you once again. I will gladly hear out one request from your once I am done with this." Adrian stated.

"Ohoho! That is a very tempting request even for you. I already know what I want to ask of you. I pray that you will be victorious." Guru Polliwog stated as he focused his mental state once more and vanished from Adrian's soul root.

"The visitor is gone. It is now safe to resume the challenge." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he snapped his fingers.

A stone table could be seen slowly floating to the surface with intricate drawings of trees and circles. Unknown runes could also be seen surrounding each of the circles which fascinated Adrian as he is called the Rune Maniac by his friends. Even the esteemed mages that visit Avalon would geek out with him when they bring parchment that contains unique runes. The story about the Avalon Rune Maniacs is for another time though.

"The First Challenge is simple and difficult at the same time. You would need to fully activate your Soul Root." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

"Does this mean that I am only using half of my Soul Root the entire time? How is that even possible when the Soul Root is the representation of the being's soul?" Adrian asked.

"The souls of demons are different from others since it is always split into three the moment they are born. Each of the split of your soul represents your inner demons that you must conquer to become more powerful. The divided soul would then be completed when all inner demons are conquered.

Think of this as a safety measure created by the world because a being that could manipulate time, space, and force at will or by instinct is dangerous if they are infants. Demons would usually have a complete soul overtime, but it seems you or rather we are also different from normal demons. Your soul that was split into three manifested into different entities that represent you as well." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

The Noblesse Inner Demon told Adrian that inner demons should only be beastly and wreak havoc. It should have only been the Noblesse Inner Demon that has some intelligence to keep the others in line but all of Adrian's inner demon possessed great intelligence. To make matters even more shocking, all inner demons agreed to make the host stronger as if they already knew their mission from the start.

The Noblesse Inner Demon became an overseer instead due to this development and did not need to reign in the other inner demons from rampaging. The reason the Noblesse Inner Demons are the most intelligent is due to the fact that they are the holders of the Ancestor's Will. They are what people call the Blood Inheritance of a Race which is present in races that are powerful like dragons and such.

"I guess the other two were incredibly smart and the elders did put on a complicated face when I told them." Adrian stated as he remembered recounting his experience of challenging his first inner demon to the Daemos elders.

"Back to your unique situation. As you can observe, you are different from other demons because of the great energies that are present in your body. There has never been a demon like you ever that can resonate with the old creation energies of the universe. Due to you absorbing both Nether energy and Aether energy, your soul root needed to be split into two as well." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he told Adrian that the table inscription, he is seeing is the form of his soul root.

"Are you saying that my soul is now split into two different entities because of the two energies in my body?" Adrian asked.

"Your soul is split into three distinct entities. Your Netheros self, your Aetheros self, and me who keeps them from destroying each other. I have already started the merging process of the two souls to ease the burden and the possible chance of sudden explosion, but it is not me to do. You are the owner of this body, and you must be the one to take full control of it." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

"What do I need to do?" Adrian stated as he gulped since he knew that this will not be easy.

"What you need to do is both easy and difficult at the same time. All you needed to do is to perfectly connect the Qliphoth part of your soul root to the Sephiroth side. The Qliphoth side represents your Netheros self while the Sephiroth side represents your Aetheros self. Currently, the Qliphoth side is more active compared to the Sephiroth side. It seems that you have a more favorite side which is causing this imbalance." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

"Well, I need to destroy more things than create which is why I use my Netheros self by default." Adrian stated as he indeed likes his Netheros self more.
