Chapter 295: Return to Grandma's House
Han Xuewei looked at her three children with a worried expression. With so many things that had happened, she really couldn't go back to school anymore.
Lin Yi was also seriously thinking about how to find a perfect solution.
It was simply not possible to let Han Xuewei take her three children to school; that would certainly become a huge joke.
"Otherwise, let's leave the three children with our parents first, and let them help us take care of them," said Lin Yi suddenly.
Han Xuewei glanced at him, and then her eyes lit up. This was indeed a solution,
and their parents were also strong.
There were many bodyguards around them for protection, so the children would definitely not be threatened.
Experience more on empire
Staying with their grandparents, and great-grandparents, they might be happier too.
"But if we dump the kids at our parents' place, won't they mind? After all, they have their own lives to live, and we can't force them," said Han Xuewei.
Lin Yi knew Han Xuewei was worrying unnecessarily. Which grandparents wouldn't want their grandchildren to stay with them?
"Mom, don't worry, we three treasures will definitely win over grandpa and grandma. Then, you can't go back on your word, and you must let us stay with grandpa and grandma. Of course, if mom misses us, we will come back to see you anytime."
The three treasures took turns coaxing Han Xuewei, making her suddenly feel like she was the big baby.
How could these children be more mature than her?
Well, since the babies were so willing, Han Xuewei didn't say anything further.
Finally, Lin Yi drove, and Han Xuewei led the three treasures to the Han family's home.
"Mom and Dad, we're back."
Because Dad Han had been in the hospital before, Han Xuewei had often come back, but she had come back less often recently because she had been dealing with a lot.
"You know to come back? Do you still remember that you have such a home? What, as soon as I'm discharged, you stop coming?"
Dad Han came out to greet them.
Upon seeing his three great grandchildren, he immediately opened his arms wide.
The three great grandchildren also gave much face, immediately pounced on him, and jumped into grandpa's embrace.
"My dear grandchildren, you're finally back. Grandpa nearly missed you to death. Without seeing you for so long, I was worried the incident before might have traumatized your little hearts. Stay with grandpa for a few more days, I will make sure you have a lot of fun," said Dad Han.
Dad Han still loved the children as always, which put Lin Yi and Han Xuewei at ease.
As long as Dad liked them, the children would be happier here.
Then, Han's mother also walked out of the room and, upon seeing her three great-grandchildren, immediately ignored Lin Yi and Han Xuewei.
"Oh my, my three treasures, you've finally come. Grandma has missed you so much. Why haven't you come to see grandma recently? You've been following your parents around and learned bad habits."
If it were possible to see question marks, Han Xuewei's head would be full of them right now.
Since when did they have such an image in their parents' hearts?
"Mom, what are you talking about? What do you mean we're learning bad things by following us? We didn't know such things would happen before!"
"You all make sense, and I don't want to bother with you anymore. Alright, alright, my three grandbabies, come inside with me quick. There are lots of things you like to eat, you know."
With a roll of her eyes, Han's mother then took the three treasures into the room and firmly shut the door behind them.
Standing still, Han Xuewei and Lin Yi didn't know what to say, wondering when they had become so unwelcome.
They remembered that things used to be quite good when they came home before.
It seems that once there are grandchildren, daughters aren't needed anymore.
Dad Han handed the kids over to his wife, and then called Lin Yi aside, he had something to say.
"How's the restaurant doing lately? Have you heard from Han Xuemei? After she left, we've all been very worried about her. Even though the child has committed many serious sins, she's still a child after all, and we'll take care of her as best as we can."
Despite the fact that Han Xuemei had done something so serious to him, he was still thinking of her.
Lin Yi really didn't know if he should agree or what else to say, so he could only relay to Dad Han all the news he knew.
Dad Han sighed. He hadn't expected Han Xuemei to become involved as the other woman in someone else's relationship.
This really had brought shame to their family.
"That child might have some psychological issues, so when you deal with her, don't push her to the brink. Leave her some wiggle room so that she can live a good life. I need to be able to explain things to her parents."
Dad Han knew that it was impossible not to deal with Han Xuemei, so he wouldn't stop Lin Yi.
But he hoped Lin Yi would give her a chance to live, at the very least, not to the point of death.
"Dad, don't worry. I have a clear idea about this. I absolutely won't be too cruel to her. But the things she's done are simply intolerable to me, so I will give her some lessons, teach her that there are things she can't just do as she pleases."
Lin Yi explained to Dad Han the well-intentioned reasons behind his actions, and Dad Han nodded in agreement.
After that, the two of them started to chat idly.
Soon the meal was ready, and the two joined the others at the dining table—what a lively scene it was, the whole big family eating together.
"If you have time, visit more often. Besides, our homes aren't far from each other. Why so reluctant to come by more frequently? When your dad was in the hospital, although you took care of him, I have been through this too. You must come home more often, see how we are doing, got it?"
Han's mother chided Han Xuewei and Lin Yi rather seriously.
It was their own fault for not visiting home often. Such a wrong choice!
Da Bao and Er Bao sat on their stools fighting over a chicken leg, both finding it exceptionally delicious.
There were many other dishes, yet they both wanted that specific piece.
As they struggled and argued, they eventually started to quarrel.
Han Xuewei glared at them, and immediately they dared not speak anymore.
Seeing this, Lin Yi also started to scold the two kids in a pretentious manner.
"Have you forgotten what your parents taught you before, hm? You two are siblings. If you do this sort of thing again, beware of getting spanked. You must love each other and not engage in such behavior. And there's plenty more, so no fighting!"
After hearing Lin Yi reprimand the children, Han Xuewei nodded in satisfaction.
