Odyssey of the Guardian Emperor

I am glad to announce that Volume One of Odyssey of the Guardian Emperor has officially come to an end. It's been a journey of discovery, and there's been tension here and there. Alaric became an adventurer, survived a stampede of demons, met a colony of Eagles, made new friends, and even battled a Dark Mage of the Steel Rank.

While I'll admit it was impressive, Steel Ranks can be a lot more powerful than Avaros was. The Dark Mage just happened to fight a battle-crazed maniac with an endless well of contingencies. From Spirit Layering to the Dance of the Sword and Teleportation, Alaric had no end to the number of tricks he would use to stall for time.

That's right. At the end of the day, all he could really do was stall until his guardian was clear for battle (I do think I could have done better with that battle, but oh well, it is what it is.) The next volume is looking hot though(not kidding. I'm excited.)🔥

I've agonised over when to start releasing the next volume to Royal Road, and still don't know the procedure for this. So, I'll publish Chapter One of Volume 2 next Friday. The comment section is open to suggestions. This is my first fiction on Royal Road(which obviously means I've written before elsewhere), so I'm striking a balance between retaining my sanity and not waiting too long. So, yeah, a little vacation for me.

I would like to thank all the patrons who've supported the book this far. It's motivating to know someone would pay for what I'm writing.

Volume 2 is already being written with a little over 40k words in the unedited first draft, though that means nothing without dedication to editing and refining my work to make sure it's in its best form for you guys. The release schedule remains the same, unless you guys are okay with 2 chapters a week. (Lol, I'm just kidding... I think.)
