NTR School: S Rank Student

Chapter 55: The Red Dragon

The second floor of the Three Divine Academies was filled with nothing but screams.

Christopher Reynolds' agonized cries echoed through the hall as the violent black and white flames tore through his body.

His once-golden hair sizzled, curling into ash. His flesh blackened and cracked, burning layer by layer as the flames consumed him from the outside in.

The students watched in horrified silence.

None of them had ever imagined Christopher would be defeated so easily. He was known for being one of the strongest men enrolling into the new academy.

He had been given the title 'Dragonborn', due to his incredible birthright that put others to shame.

And yet there he was, being eaten by flames.

One student, blessed with a water-based birthright, instinctively tried to step forward. His trembling hands reached for a spell that could perhaps put out the flames, but his legs refused to move.

Because standing there, swords still in hand, was Raphael Brooks.

The faint remnants of fire still flickered from his lips, the aftershock of the devastating breath he had unleashed. His presence alone was terrifying. He wasn't just powerful, he was dominant as well.

And so, the students did nothing.

They simply watched as Christopher Reynolds burned to nothing but a charred corpse.

Raphael barely had time to process the scene before something pulled at his consciousness.

His head began to become dizzy, forcing him to slightly stumble. He quickly allowed the twin blades to fade away from existence, attempting to further control himself.

But his body suddenly felt light.

Then, everything in his vision became dark, as he was dragged to another place.

---

When Raphael's senses returned to him, he was no longer in the academy.

The chaotic noise of students, the scent of burnt flesh, the fatigue his body felt. It was all gone.

Instead, he found himself standing in a vast field of crimson-red grass.

The sky above was a deep orange, the sun hanging unnaturally low, casting everything in a dim, golden glow. A faint mist rolled across the ground, clinging to his ankles like dust. The entire atmosphere of the location was ethereal. Otherworldly.

Then, a voice came from behind him.

"…Is it you?"

Raphael turned towards the words.

Sat on the red glass was a woman he had never met before, hugging her knees tightly to her chest in a conservative manner.

Her hair was vibrant red, wild and curly, flowing past her shoulders but streaked with strands of black. She wore no clothes but her breasts were covered by her knees. Still, Raphael could tell that they were large and perfectly round.

Her skin was slightly red, as though they were not of the same race.

But it was her eyes that confirmed everything.

They were unlike anything human. The white part of her eyes was a bright red, while her irises were golden.

It didn't take long for Raphael to figure out who the woman was.

She was The Red Dragon.

And she was afraid.

Raphael approached slowly, keeping his eyes on her the entire time. She seemed to tense up at his movements, fingers clutching at her arms.

Raphael let out a sigh and sat down on the red grass beside her.

"Yeah," he said, his voice calm. "It's me."

She blinked, surprised at the man's calm demeanour. It was far from what she had expected.

"Why… why do you seem so… friendly?"

She spoke. Her voice was soft, yet filled with genuine confusion.

Raphael flashed her a warm smile. "Let me guess. Your last owner wasn't like this?"

At the mention of Christopher, her body flinched. A shiver ran through her, and for a few moments she said nothing.

"No. Not at all." She finally said quietly.

Raphael had already suspected as much.

Christopher had treated her like a weapon, not a partner. Unlike his own bonds with Rachael and Naomi, who genuinely cared for him, the Red Dragon had been nothing more than a tool for Christopher to use.

Raphael felt no sympathy for the man's fate. Eaten by the flames.

"He's dead now," Raphael said bluntly. "But I'm sure you already know that."

The Red Dragon stared at him, her golden eyes glowing.

Her lips trembled slightly as she spoke. "I know. That's why I'm here."

More silence.

"..."

Then, she lowered her head.

"I will die as well."

Raphael raised an eyebrow. The words had caught him off guard.

The red dragon hugged her knees even tighter to her chest.

"Our fates are eternally linked. If my owner dies, then I follow. That's how I believe this bond between us works."

Her voice was calm, but the sadness was evident.

Raphael chuckled.

She turned to him sharply with confusion in her eyes. "What's so funny about that?"

The shade of her skin lightened—closer to white.

Is she blushing?

Raphael shook his head. "Because that won't be happening." He responded, seeming to make the red dragon even more confused.

"You're coming with me," he continued his voice firm. "Back to your siblings. Rachael and Naomi."

For a moment, she said nothing.

Then, something flickered in her expression.

Hope.

It was faint, almost unnoticeable, but Raphael caught it. The woman recognized the names of her past allies.

She still hugged her knees, making it difficult for him to get a proper look at her body, but from what he could see, the woman was just as beautiful as Rachael and Naomi.

"What's your name?" he asked.

She hesitated before answering.

"…Violetta."

Violetta. The Red Dragon.

Raphael smiled. "That's a beautiful name."

She looked away shyly, but he could see her skin shift in colour again. Slowly, Raphael edged closer, the warmth of her bare skin just within reach.

"You've been trapped in this bond your whole life, haven't you?" he murmured, attempting to make Violetta feel more comfortable.

The Red Dragon swallowed, hesitating before giving a small nod.

"And now you think there's no way out."

Another nod.

Raphael leaned in, lowering his voice.

"Then let me show you otherwise."

Violetta raised an eyebrow, not knowing what the man's words meant.

But she didn't move when he reached out, gently placing his arms on the insides of her thighs.

A chill was sent through her body. She had never felt such a feeling before.

All she knew was that she liked it. His large hand around her thighs provided her with warmth and a faint tingling feeling that raised her heart rate.

She even felt herself becoming wet between the legs. An experience she had never had.

The mist swirled around them as the tension rose.

It seems like it's time to conquer another dragon.
