NTR School: S Rank Student

Chapter 42: With the Queens

Raphael wore the Holy Blade on his back, earning himself many stares as he walked through the Five School Gardens.

Some were surprised, wondering how he had come into the possession of one of the Three Holy Blades. Others, however, were unsurprised. With the news spreading of his battle against Charles Thornbatch, The Phoenix Queen's husband, people expected such things from Raphael.

Ever since he had joined the Rose School a few weeks ago, a day hardly passed without his name ending up in the mouths of most students.

And he only intended for things to continue that way.

He entered the Phoenix school, walking past the students in their black uniform and made his way to Maria's office.

Raphael wrapped his knuckles against the door and heard chatter from behind the door fade to silence.

Does she have company?

After a few moments, he knocked against.

He heard a muffled voice speak, and then footsteps scurried towards the door.

As it opened, he was met with a boy standing before him.

The boy looked a few years younger than Raphael and wore the uniform of the Phoenix school.

What? I thought the Five Schools only accepted adults.

He was a short boy. Much shorter than Raphael, and his body seemed frail. His dark hair was combed back into a neat style, revealing the handsome features of his face.

The boy looked up at Raphael, with a glint in his eyes.

"You're Raphael Brooks!" The boy said in Awe. He was clearly a fan of the Dragon Son.

Raphael sighed. He had already heard his name enough times today.

Then, a voice came from inside the room.

"Let him in, Joshua."

The boy, whose name seemed to be Joshua, stepped aside, allowing Raphael to enter.

As he did, he was met with great surprise.

Sitting by the desk of the office was the Phoenix Queen, her black uniform clinging tightly to her body, and her crown sitting atop her neat black hair. She was just as beautiful as when he had seen her before.

In front of her, however, was Harmony. The Rose Queen.

As she sat in the chair opposite the phoenix queens, her pink hair fell to her side in bunches. She, too, wore her crown. However, Raphael was focused on her large chest. He couldn't keep his eyes off her.

His mind raced back to the time he had fucked her on her desk, back after his victory against Leofric in the annual duels.

What a reward that was.

But more importantly, why are the two queens together? What's going on?

Harmony and Maria looked at Raphael in surprise as they noticed the sword that he wore on his back.

"Lillian's Holy Blade," Maria said in disbelief. "You actually managed to get it. And so soon?"

Is that why she made me steal it? Because she thought I would fail?

Raphael couldn't help but let out a laugh.

After all, he had earned more than just the sword. He had taken Lillian's chastity as well.

"Did you think I was going to fail?" He asked her after his laughs subsided. "That I wouldn't come and collect my reward?"

The Rose Queen looked at the Phoenix Queen in confusion, clearly unaware of the deal the two had made. Maria's cheeks began to blush, though she quickly tried to hide it by clearing her throat.

"N-no." She said with false confidence. "I expected nothing less from the Rose Schools' finest. However, I'm quite busy right now, perhaps we could continue later on?"

Raphael didn't mind. After all, he was already slightly drained from the time he had spent with Lillian. If the queen wanted to postpone her pounding, then so be it.

As he shrugged his shoulders and turned to leave, Harmony's voice stopped him.

"No, his timing couldn't be any better, in fact. Perhaps he could help us with our... Problem."

Raphael turned back around to see the Phoenix Queen staring at Harmony, eyes wide with shock.

"You can't be serious?" She said in disbelief. "He's only a student."

Harmony let out a sigh.

"A student that managed to beat both your son and husband in a duel. Let's face it, he's no regular boy. He can help us."

The Rose Queen brushed a strand of pink hair from her beautiful face. Raphael struggled to take his eyes off her.

Then, he felt feet shuffling behind him.

The boy, Joshua. He was still there.

Who is this kid? He wanted to ask, as the boy stared at him with admiration on his face. His eyes were practically shining.

"..."

After a few moments of silent consideration, The Phoenix Queen finally responded.

"Fine. Joshua, fetch him a chair."

The boy nodded his head and did as he was told, returning to put a chair beside Harmony.

Raphael hesitated to sit down. Being around a desk with such a powerful woman made him feel something stirring within him.

It was as though he was one step closer to becoming king.

As he took a seat, the two queens watched him. Harmony seemed as though she was weighing him with her eyes, whilst Maria seemed to be filled with hesitation.

"Go on," Harmony said to Maria as she gestured towards Raphael. "Tell him."

Maria bit at her lip nervously, before letting out a deep sigh.

"War is on the Horizon, and it seems the Five Schools will be dragged into it." She explained.

Raphael looked at her, dumbfounded.

"A war?" He said whilst trying to contain his shock. "But there hasn't been a war in centuries."

All the regions of Vailstone were at peace as far as he knew. Each respective Ruler had enough respect for one another. Who could possibly choose to break that?

Harmony shook her head, taking over for the Phoenix Queen.

"Not a war against Emperor's." She explained. "But rather a war between schools."

"..."

That makes more sense. It seems I worried for no reason. But which of the Five Schools would do such a thing?

As if sensing his thoughts, Harmony answered.

"I'm sure you haven't heard, but a powerful emperor of a nearby region has begun setting up a new series of schools. Judging by the name, it's clear that he wishes to rival us. He is calling them 'The Three Divine Academies'."

The Three Divine Academies.

Raphael had to admit that the name sounded cool, but could there possibly be enough students to fill it up? After all, humans born with a Birthright were always sent to the Five Schools by the rulers of their region.

Then, it began to make sense to him.

"The Five Schools are full, aren't they?" He guessed, "The Three Divine Academies are going to accept those who were not able to secure a space."

The two queens looked at him as they nodded their heads.

"That's right. And it's only a matter of time before they decide to challenge us in whatever ways possible. Not only that, but they have the benefit of being united under one ruler, whilst we of the five schools are still at quarrels with each other." Harmony explained, and she was right.

Unity was the key to winning a war, and as things stood, the Five Schools had none of it. It did not matter if they had the strongest students, if they could not work together, then all could become chaos.

So this is why the queens of two different schools are in a meeting.

If only I was king. I could make sure that problems like this wouldn't arise.

...

The thought only strengthened Raphael's resolve.

"So," he asked, "what do you want me to do?"

Harmony's lips twisted into a smile, as Maria began to withdraw something from her desk.

"First," the Rose Queen said. "Perhaps you can 'conquer' some of the other queens. I've told Maria here of your goals to become King, and I have faith that you might be able to do it. We've all heard how the students talk about you, you're practically a king already!"

Maria withdrew a rolled-up piece of paper from her desk and spread it out across the surface.

Raphael glanced at it, realising that it was a map of Vailstone. Well, at least the nearby area.

On the map, there was a large X space in a crimson grass field. It didn't seem to be too far from The Five Schools, perhaps an hour's walk.

"What would help us most, is if you could pay a visit to the Three Divine Academies and see what they're like. We could send scouts, however we both believe that we need to send a more powerful figure as our representative." Maria explained.

It hardly took any time for Raphael to come to a decision.

There would be women at these academies. A lot of them. He wondered whether the Emperor of the schools would have wives or daughters for him to take.

The prospect almost made him stiff.

"Consider it done," Raphael said, surprising the two queens as he picked the map up and stood from his chair.

"W-what? Just like that?" The Phoenix Queen asked in shock.

Raphael made his way over to the door, ignoring Joshua who still stared at him with admiring eyes.

"Yeah, I'll handle everything." He said with utter confidence. But before he pulled open the door, he turned his head to say one last thing.

"Oh, and don't forget my reward, Maria. I'll come and collect it soon. If Harmony wants to join too then she's more than welcome."

He watched as the two queens stared at each other, cheeks blushing a deep colour of red.

And then he stepped out of the room.
