Chapter 202: She can wait!
"So nobody at the academy knows?"
The queen asked, did everyone in the academy think that Rae was done for?
This meant that Rae did not bother informing anyone of his achievements, meaning he didn't wish to be known.
A very demon-like individual, indeed.
What was his goal then? Did he not want anything?
"No. None of them, I believe."
Natasha thought for a second, a certain married professor friend of hers was pretty sad about this and she kept coming over to her place to vent about this.
If that close friend of Rae was not aware of this then it very likely meant that no one else aside from the people in the royal palace were aware of his status.
"I see."
The queen nodded, understanding the significance of this piece of information.
…
In a big hall,
A long table was placed, two luxurious chairs at both ends. On one of the chairs, Keol Arista, the head of the Arista family was seated.
On the other end, Rae leaned back on his chair as he sat comfortably.
This was his simple errand. He had to go and visit the Arista family.
"Are we clear?"
He glanced at Keol Arista, his eyes nonchalant as he asked in a low but firm voice.
Keol Arista nodded at Rae's words in a humble manner.
"Yes. I understand your reasoning and I thank you for not doing me any harm."
He thanked Rae, not at all being offended by the words. In fact, he was thankful, thankful that Rae forgave him.
"Well, as long as you know."
Rae tilted his head to the right, his cheek rested on his palm as he replied nonchalantly.
Standing up, he fixed the crease of his luxurious noble-like clothes before picking up a book-like object from the table.
'Hmm. This was not very exhausting. The man I met is very smart and practical. Though, my reaction to the offense is also to be taken into account. I did not go there with the intention of revenge.'
As Rae exited out and began to use his physical construct to fly, he recalled the conversation he had with Keol.
The guy was very smart and easy to negotiate with. It was almost boring for him to negotiate.
Keol Arista did not seem to be a narcissist noble at all.
'Haah! It is fun. The endless surge of energy, no matter how much i fly, my rate of recovery allows me with surplus.'
After reaching high above in the sky, Rae adjusted his speed, enjoying the thrill of going through the sky.
'What I did not expect was that man to have knowledge of my accomplishments in these spells.
For him to have gifted me a full set and all the spells from his treasure vault, a really smart guy indeed.'
The book that he was carrying with him was a secret tome. It contained secret spells like that one he learned from Natasha.
And it was not just one spell, the whole book was filled with spells!
In that book, there existed a full set of spells too! A full set!
This meant that it would allow the user to fully transform into a higher tier literally.
"I wonder how the full set would react to my body, what the effects would be?"
He could not help imagining how the spells would react to his already strong body.
Would it reach a higher tier? Would he unlock something special? He was very curious.
Happily, he kept flying through the air, rushing at great speed as he was getting back to the royal palace, back to the beautiful queen.
"Maybe? I should pay a visit to them?"
He muttered as he stopped mid-air. It had been quite a while and he could feel that he was missing the beautiful ladies.
Floating in the sky, he contemplated whether to let the queen and her sister wait while he paid a visit to Hina and Sasha.
"It's about time I met them."
He turned back.
Since he had just thought of them, he might as well go and pay a good visit to them.
What would be the point of having the ability to do so but not doing it. It was not like the queen would mind.
She had her lovely cousin to accompany her. He decided that he would give both of them some time to get relaxed.
Until then, he was deciding how he would go and plan things out with Sasha.
Unlike Xavier's mom, Hina, Sasha was quite an interesting lady. She was promiscuous and knew what she wanted.
…
"She must be at Sahsa's place, no? After what happened last time, she would surely be together with her dear friend."
Rae chose to visit Sasha instead of the family house of Xavier.
Because of what he did last time at the Kerr's, there was a very low chance of Hina being there.
And if not at the Kerr's then she must be together with Sasha. So, Rae decided to visit her.
It took less than an hour and he reached the door of Sasha's palace.
The guard glanced at Rae floating in the air, shocked. He had just witnessed a dot-like thing heading in his direction before he finally realised that it was a human.
"Lady Sasha?"
He repeated as he heard Rae ask about the whereabouts of Sasha.
He was unsure if he should reveal her whereabouts but it was not like it was a secret. Everyone was aware of Sasha's regular activities.
Instead of risking his chance of offending a very powerful warrior, it was better to just reveal it.
"Young sir, Lady Sasha is out with a friend. She is expected to come back by midnight."
The guard replied honestly.
"I see. Where is she headed to? Shopping? Or Opera? What is it?"
Rae was aware that Sasha was not at the palace. He had already scanned through the palace with the spell on his eyes.
He wanted to know if she had gone somewhere far.
"Young sir, she probably plans to visit them all. I am not aware of her schedule."
The guard shook his head, unsure of Sasha's exact schedule. He was not someone in a position who would be aware of these details.
"Alright."
Rae nodded, before flying back, high into the sky. At this point, he was not at all worried about revealing his skills.
