Chapter 39: Fighting Another Version of the Monster
"You miserable pathetic beings, you dare to defy and defile my own beauty with your poor weapons and disgusting skills!"
Suddenly, the monster changed her approach, and instead of using enchanting skills, she used a mute and weakening skills. an invisible ribble attacked them all, but only Bloom remained slightly unaffected.
'Damn, she is trying to make the fight be longer,' Bloom inwardly cursed, before he shouted:
"She is going to use mute and weakening skills, and that means you can fight with me, but be extra careful. I will be the main DPS and tank, and you just follow suit. Peri, keep everyone safe," he just finished his words, and the monster started to move.
As she started to move, two weapons appeared within each of her hands, a long spear she used before, and a long whip, with electrical sparkles at its five long ends.
Opposite to her carefree walk in the previous fight, she ran, with much seriousness over her face. She was finally getting serious, and Bloom was the one to welcome her.
She was now using her full offensive strength, and Bloom had the feeling this fight would turn into a dog fight instead of the previous enchanting one.
Just before he moved to meet her, he took out one St potion and gulped it all. His previous fight was very stressful, and his stamina was already below its third.
As the two approached each other, Bloom suddenly jumped in the air, turning around himself midair in a very spectacular sight, before he muttered:
"Ground breaker."
"-50"
"300"
She got weaker, as the damage she caused to him decreased than before, but she had, in return, increased her defenses, and now he only dealt three hundred damage points to her, a crit not like his previous crits dealt to her!
Just as he was turning to face her, readying himself to the fight that would erupt, a flash passed his eyesight, as she threw her whip to surround one of the two swordsmen's neck, grabbed him, rapidly throwing him back into the rear of the hall, heavily hitting the wall, while falling on the ground.
"-100"
The damage was minimal, despite the brutality of it. the moment she did so, she hurriedly retreated, without anything to stop her from doing so.
"Damn, she plans to hunt us down one by one," Bloom loudly cursed as he tried to run and catch up to her, but she was already a few meters ahead of him. "Peri, keep him alive," he shouted as the swordsman was about to stand up, with obvious drowsiness that made him stumble the moment he stood up.
'A dizziness effect, damn!' he inwardly cursed, as he continued to run after her. She just reached the swordsman, while Peri kept using her healing skills in a row, making the swordsman Hp jump higher than before, but not reached the full mark yet.
"Die you impudent ant!" the monster bellowed angrily while she hacked the swordsman body with her sword. Two attacks fell on his body before Bloom was near her, two attacks were enough to kill him.
"Dash!"
He was angry that he let her do that, but he didn't know she would change her tactic of fighting. Right now it felt like they were dealing with a totally different monster than before!
"Boom!"
The monster tried to block and evade, but Bloom wasn't a newbie to let her do so. He used his skill in a position that was so close to her, blocking all roads to retreat, so her body was fixed on the wall, while he and the others started to hack her body with their skills.
Just as she was about to be freed, Bloom retreated, blocking one side of the way on her, while taking an angle to the other way she would walk into.
Just as she was freed, she screamed in extreme anger, and without hesitation she moved towards the way Bloom had intentionally left open.
"Dash!"
Just as he used his dash skill, and his sword just penetrated her body, he linked it with another dash, pointing to the opposite direction of his first dash.
"Dash!"
Her body was driven like a kite in the middle of a storm, first to the first direction of the first dash, then changed her course, violently, to be forced to move to the opposite direction, hitting the wall just a few centimeters away from the first place she was in!
"Boom!"
"300"
"600"
The effect of combining his two mighty skills together didn't end there, as the damage she received was doubled due to the violent turn her body had to take. The stun effect of the two skills were added one on top of the other, giving Bloom and the others ten seconds of stun effect.
"Ten seconds, keep it going everyone," he shouted while starting to use his second most strong combination of skills, his slice, the ground breaker, followed by another slice, then ground breaker!
As the monster was already stunned, there was no attack to block, so he just turned around and joined the skill with the slice. He aimed to use his highest DPS skills, one after another. In their cooldown, he used stab without pause, kiting down her Hp bit by bite.
"Two thousand Hp remaining, don't stop!"
He shouted, just two seconds before the effect of his combined stun vanish. This time he knew the monster wouldn't follow his tactic, as she would prefer to hit him directly, while trying to escape through his path.
Despite knowing that, he did the same as before, as he intended to lure the monster to do what he expected. Bloom was already exhausted, and the fight here in this dungeon really made him extremely depleted, mentally and physically.
The idea of fighting a totally different monster was something he didn't even want to think about, so the only option here was to force that monster to use her supreme skill, the only secure and safe road to them all.
