Chapter 2 – "Reflections of Change."
Chapter 2 – "Reflections of Change."
In a dimly lit room, the soft rustle of paper filled the air as a figure calmly sifted through documents. At a glance, she could be mistaken for a goddess—her ethereal presence undeniable. Dressed in a light blue gown that shimmered like moonlight on water, her silver-white hair cascaded down her back in graceful waves. The gown's silver embroidery, woven delicately along the edges, highlighted her hourglass figure, while her large, full breasts, larger than Suzu's, were elegantly supported by the intricate design. Her cold, calm demeanor only heightened her divine beauty, her pale blue eyes as serene as the night sky.
Suddenly, the quiet of the room was interrupted by the sound of a door creaking open.
“Groooaaann... thud.” The door echoed as it was pushed open, breaking the stillness.
“Madam Seraphina, I’ve come to report on Lady Eira's condition. Would you like to hear it?” Lindy, who had been assisting Eira earlier, bowed respectfully as she addressed the goddess-like figure.
Seraphina glanced at Lindy with her usual calm, cold expression. “You may report now.”
Lindy lifted her head and began to speak. “Lady Eira seems to have grown kinder, madam. I overheard the maids talking about it, and I believe the cause may be her recent accident.”
Seraphina’s face remained impassive, not a flicker of emotion crossing her features. “Did you notice any signs of awakening?” she asked coolly.
“No, my lady. Her physique and aura remain unchanged. I don’t believe this is an awakening, but rather a simple change in behavior,” Lindy replied, maintaining her respectful tone.
In the Nivara family, an "Awakening" was a rare condition, one that caused a shift in personality depending on the strength of the bloodline inherited. Each awakening was unique, often accompanied by changes in power and demeanor.
Seraphina nodded slightly. “Hmm. Let us observe her further to confirm whether this is truly an awakening or merely a shift in personality. Continue watching over her.”
“Yes, madam Seraphina,” Lindy replied before respectfully exiting the room.

By the time the next morning arrived, Eira stirred from her sleep, waking earlier than she used to. In the past, she had been quite lazy, reluctant to rise before the sun. But now, with her memories restored from her previous life, she diligently adapted to waking early, her new sense of purpose driving her.
“Ahh... it's morning,” she murmured, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Despite her noble background, Eira was still just a young girl, her small and delicate body resembling that of a 10-year-old. She quickly made her bed and then slipped out of it with the lightness of a child.
After selecting a grey-blue dress, she carefully began to change. The dress was simple yet refined, suited for a young noble of her age. Its soft fabric hung loosely around her small frame, the grey-blue color giving it an air of elegance while still fitting her youthful appearance. Delicate lace trimmed the edges of the sleeves and collar, and a silver ribbon cinched at her waist, accentuating her petite figure without overemphasizing her body. Though young, Eira’s silver-white hair and the refined design of her dress made her appear almost ethereal, hinting at the grace she would one day fully embody.
“Oh, I almost forgot,” she muttered to herself, recalling her magic lesson scheduled for 8 a.m. Eira rang the small bell by her bedside, summoning Lindy to prepare breakfast.
Minutes later, Lindy opened the door and said, "My lady, here is your breakfast. You can eat it here while it's hot." She observed the already dressed Eira and her neatly arranged bedroom. Staring at the small figure, she added, "Lady Eira, why did you change the bedding yourself? You can just leave it to me; I'm responsible for your needs. As your personal maid, I should also dress you so that you don't hurt your noble body." Lindy was astonished—her guess had been correct: Lady Eira's personality had indeed changed.
"Ahh, I... okay, you don't need to say that to me. It was just a reflex of my hands. I didn't even think it was a big deal because it was only changing and arranging," Eira said, unaware that her habits from her previous life were starting to integrate into her new self.
"Ah, okay, my lady." Lindy didn't think much further about it, then opened her arms, seemingly about to lift Eira into the chair like she always did before.
"I—no, I can..." Eira hesitated, wanting to do it herself, but she nodded, thinking her refusal might seem suspicious.
Lindy almost laughed, knowing Eira wanted to refuse. "Ah, my lady, how can you be this cute?" she thought to herself, feeling a strong urge to kiss the adorable little girl. But she erased those thoughts and gently lifted Eira into the chair so she could eat her meal.
Thump.
After placing Eira in the chair, Eira wasted no time and began eating her meal in a respectful manner, like a refined noble. Lindy noticed the change but didn’t dwell on it, knowing she could report all of Eira's behavior to Madam Seraphina.
Half an hour passed, and Eira finished preparing. She walked slowly toward the next room, where her magic lesson would begin. Lindy followed closely, as she was responsible for Eira's care as her personal maid.
Tap... tap... tap. Her soft footsteps echoed through the hall.
After a short walk, they arrived at a white and blue door. Eira gestured for Lindy to open the door, trying to maintain her usual behavior. But Lindy wasn’t fooled—she could already tell that Eira was attempting to hide her changes. Eira, too, sensed Lindy observing her closely, so she could only go along with it, thinking her behavior might be too obvious. Lindy, however, found her even more adorable.
Click... creaaak... thud. The door opened with a soft groan.
Eira glanced at the chairs inside and noticed only two people present—the teacher and her sister, who was three years older than her.
A moment later, Eira set her thoughts aside and walked into the classroom, ready to listen to the lesson and hoping to finish early.
