NIKKE: Max Bonded but System Gone

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: The Fragrance of a Cocktail

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up this topic." The sales associate wisely closed her mouth.

Green closed his eyes slightly, not blaming her for her rudeness, but instead saying, "Since you work at the forward base, let go of some of your prejudices. Trust that life will give you a satisfactory answer."

"Understood, Commander. Anyway, the elevator's this way, 17th floor, Room 206. Miss Dolla has been waiting for you for a while."

"Thank you."

"You're too kind."

The door, a construct of technological design, slowly opened with a soft hum. Green walked into the private room, where, under the pink lighting, Dolla had already changed into a sexy black evening dress with a slit, sitting on the sofa, quietly waiting for Green's arrival.

Green glanced at the table, where a bottle of long-aged cocktail, Dolla's favorite flavor, sat across from Dolla.

He raised his eyes and glanced at Dolla's attire.

Unlike her usual attire of a tightly wrapped black suit, the black starry evening dress Dolla wore, embroidered with golden patterns, was slit up to her waist. Her fair thighs, encased in high heels, rested lazily on the red carpet, giving off an air of luxury and sensuality.

"Dolla, it's just a business deal. Why are you dressed so formally today?" Green asked, raising his brow. He wasn't as clueless as some kind of dense protagonist but asking a girl to confirm her attention is a must. After all, he can't just risk with a girl, especially if the said girl is a Nikke.

"Client, don't you know? Dressing a bit more formally is the most basic etiquette when welcoming someone," Dolla's lips curled into a seductive smile. She extended a finger, and with a flick, the bottle cap on the liquor bottle popped off with a "ding" and fell onto the carpet.

"But you're quite fortunate since I've never shown this dress to anyone else. You're the first. So, how do you feel now?"

Dolla picked up the bottle and poured the cocktail into Green's glass.

Green stared at her exposed thighs for a moment before smiling and saying, "Luxurious, wealthy, sensual, just like a rose in the night."

No one dislikes praise.

Dolla's lips curled into an alluring smile. After pouring herself a glass, she raised it, clinking it toward Green, "Client always knows just what to say, doesn't he? Just like when I asked for your help back then. Do you remember what you said to me? You said I was special. So, Client, what makes me special to you?"

Dolla swirled the wine in her glass, wearing an enticing smile as she leaned against Green's body and slowly sat down.

Or perhaps it was intentional; she slightly leaned her body, pressing her chest against Green's arm. Her free hand also brushed against his chest, as if she were about to straddle him any second.

Green locked eyes with her for a moment but then smiled and raised his glass, whispering in her ear, "To my Dolla."

Dolla's breath faltered slightly. A look of surprise crossed her beautiful face before it transformed back into a smile.

She raised her glass and replied, "To my Client, cheers."

Dolla was about to toast when she recalled something, "By the way, I came up with a great toast idea today. Mr. Green, would you like to try it?"

"Sure."

Dolla tilted her head back and drank the whole glass. Then, with a delicate touch, she grabbed Green's chin and gently connected her lips with his.

It was at that moment, the sweet liquor slid down Green's throat. The tropical cocktail's fragrant sweetness made him think of sunshine and the beach.

Green still remembered that this drink was called "Passion Coast," also known as "Sex on the Beach," a very famous cocktail. Last time at the bar, he had specifically ordered it for Dolla, intending to tease her. However, he didn't expect she would still remember that moment.

After the drink, their faces took the distance with drops of drink and saliva still surfacing their lips.

"How does it feel, Client?"

"Hmm, like kissing my favorite girl on the beach."

"Heh, Client, the way you're looking at me now is like a beast wanting to ravish its weak prey." Dolla gently set the wine glass on the table, then leaned against Green's arm with a playful smile, asking, "You've gathered quite a bit of money today. Have you decided what you'll use this wealth to buy?"

"Of course. Batteries, drinking water, food, ammunition, new weapons… I need a large quantity of supplies. Can you get them for me?" Green asked as his hands also slowly wandered around Dolla's waist. He wasn't into doing naughty stuff while making business deals but there was no way he was going to ruin the atmosphere and, especially, allowing Dolla to take the lead.

"Completely possible, but you should know, that large-scale purchases like these will cost more than the market price. After all, in the Ark, anything related to supplies inevitably involves dealing with the central government officials, and those officials' ethics, I think you know better than I do." Dolla replied.

"Price isn't a problem."

Green handed her a gold card filled with credit points.

Dolla counted the balance in the card and nodded. "Since you say so, I won't ask further. The things you need will be delivered to the forward base in a few days."

"Thanks, Dolla."

"I should be thanking you, sir. Because of your help, my business is now running smoothly."

"Is it really that exaggerated?"

Green was slightly surprised.

Seeing his confusion, Dolla smiled and answered, "Do you know how people have been referring to you lately? The hero of the Ark, the legendary new commander, who wins battle after battle on the surface. You also have several deputy commanders backing you. Your reputation within the Ark, not just resounding but also quite famous. And so, please, let me toast to you once more."

After the business deal was concluded, Dolla was clearly in a good mood.

She poured herself another drink, let the emotions settle for a moment, and then suddenly asked, "Mr. Green, I've been puzzled by a project lately, so I'd like to investigate it. Would you be willing to cooperate?"

"Is it about products?"

"Yes, our company is launching a tablet soon, and we need to survey the preferences of young users. So I have a few questions for you."

"Go ahead."

"First question: Do you prefer it on top, or below?"

Dolla straddled Green, her hands gently wrapping around his shoulders, and kissed him passionately. The fragrant cocktail once again passed between their lips. Green also swayed with the mood, also took the lead before roaming his hands inside Dolla's lips, caressing her buttocks and chest. With the mood in full swing, the rest of the night followed quite a thriving game of money and lust.
