Night of the Clan Massacre: Leading the Uchiha to Defect from Konoha!

Konoha's army and Iwagakure's army clashed once again.

To prevent his schemes from being exposed, Danzo quickly said,

"Hiruzen, forget talking with that stubborn old man Ohnoki. Let's attack directly!"

"Once Sunagakure gains the advantage on their side, they're finished!"

Before coming here, they had already contacted Sunagakure to launch an attack, so Iwagakure was still being attacked from two fronts.

Sarutobi Hiruzen took a deep breath, then waved his hand.

"Attack!"

Immediately, the ninjas from Konoha surged toward Iwagakure.

Ohnoki's mouth twitched in fury.

"Sarutobi Hiruzen, that bastard…"

He hadn't even finished considering another attempt to persuade him, and the man had already launched a full assault.

Ohnoki looked toward the direction of the Land of Waterfalls.

"Uchiha Kaede, you'd better get here soon!"

He hadn't forgotten that Sunagakure's people were still causing havoc in the Land of Earth! With only Rōshi, the Four-Tails jinchūriki, to hold them off, it was only a matter of time before they broke through.

Danzo and Hiruzen charged toward the battlefield, their forces clashing fiercely with Iwagakure. Smoke and chaos filled the air.

Ohnoki faced off against Hiruzen, while the Five-Tails jinchūriki fought against Danzo.

With Danzo sharing the pressure, Hiruzen could fight Ohnoki on more equal terms.

In terms of numbers, Hiruzen's side now had Danzo's forces plus the troops from Jiraiya's defeated front, surpassing Iwagakure's current strength.

The battle was evenly matched for now.

Although Danzo's Dust Release was devastating, Hiruzen's wide variety of flashy jutsu also made it hard for Ohnoki to gain the upper hand.

At their level, there was little room for casual talk while exchanging deadly blows.

Half an hour of intense battle passed.

Hiruzen's constant use of shadow clones left him panting for breath. Finally, he and Ohnoki found a moment to speak.

Ohnoki roared in anger,

"Sarutobi Hiruzen! Have you lost your mind?"

"Uchiha Kaede is your greatest enemy—no, the greatest enemy of the entire shinobi world!"

"I was giving you respect by writing to propose a truce so we could face him together, and you repay me by killing the men I sent!"

"Do you really plan to let Uchiha Kaede grow stronger and stronger?"

Hiruzen was stunned.

Wasn't it him who had written to propose a truce?

Wasn't it Ohnoki who had killed the messenger?

How had this blame been thrown onto his head?

At that moment, he knew something was wrong.

Not far away, Danzo's mouth twitched as he listened.

As expected, his handiwork was surfacing sooner than he thought. Now, he could only stay silent and push all the blame onto Uchiha Kaede.

Hiruzen shouted, "Ohnoki, what do you mean—"

But before he could finish, a mocking voice rang out over the battlefield.

"Oh? Have you already started fighting?"

Iwagakure's ninjas froze, while Konoha's instantly thought of that devil—Uchiha Kaede!

Many Konoha ninjas broke off from the fight, looking toward the source of the voice.

When they saw Kaede flying in the sky, terror gripped their hearts.

"It's Uchiha Kaede! That devil is here!"

Panic erupted through Konoha's ranks.

By now, Kaede's name had become an unshakable nightmare for them.

They instinctively gathered together with Iwagakure's forces, as if that would give them some comfort.

Ohnoki glanced at Kaede and let out a faint sigh.

"Finally, he's here."

Hiruzen's eyes widened in shock. "You… you called him here?"

Ohnoki smirked. "Trading your Land of Fire territory for his help against you—now that's a bargain I couldn't pass up."

Hiruzen's hair practically stood on end. He no longer had the patience for words.

Kaede's arrival stunned everyone in Konoha.

Jiraiya, the Fourth Raikage, and the Eight-Tails jinchūriki had all been defeated—they had no hope of winning.

And then, the sight that broke their spirit even further appeared.

Behind Kaede came a vast army.

Leading them was none other than their recent Fifth Hokage—Tsunade!

"Tsunade…" Hiruzen's heart ached as he looked at her cold expression.

"Kaede, what did you feed her to make her follow you like this?!"

Kaede smirked, his voice carrying across the battlefield.

"The battle to destroy Konoha… begins!"

In the next instant, Tsunade charged at Hiruzen with her army, all because of Kaede's single command.

Kaede descended to Ohnoki's side, followed closely by the Three Snake Princesses, Tsunade, Naruto, and Mifune.

Looking at Hiruzen, Kaede smiled.

"Hiruzen, it seems Danzo isn't holding up well!"

Hiruzen's gaze flicked to Tsunade and Naruto.

"Tsunade, Naruto… have you really abandoned Konoha?"

He tried to reason with them.

"Tsunade, you're the First Hokage's granddaughter—Konoha was founded by the Senju!"

"Naruto, your father was the Fourth Hokage, a hero who gave his life for Konoha!"

Tsunade's expression hardened. "The Senju… weren't they already erased by you?"

Naruto's voice was cold. "The Fourth Hokage… the one who let me suffer for so long—what's a hero to me?"

"I never acknowledged him."

Hiruzen closed his eyes in pain.

These two had completely severed their ties with Konoha.

Kaede looked at Ohnoki.

"Go. The Konoha forces are yours. Hiruzen and Danzo are mine."

Ohnoki didn't dare object. He quickly left with the Five-Tails jinchūriki.

Kaede then turned to Tsunade and Naruto.

"Begin. Your battle for revenge starts now."

In an instant, Tsunade entered Sage Mode, and Naruto unleashed his Tailed Beast Sage Mode.

Inside him, the Nine-Tails roared with excitement.

"Go, brat!"

It too carried a deep grudge against the village that had caged it for decades.

Tsunade charged at Danzo, while Naruto rushed at Hiruzen.

Facing both of them in their enhanced states, there was no chance for Hiruzen or Danzo to turn the tide.

Kaede sat in midair, the Three Snake Princesses tending to him.

With a glance to Mifune, Kaede silently gave the order.

Mifune understood immediately and joined the slaughter of Konoha's ninjas.

Mifune, Ohnoki, the Five-Tails jinchūriki, and Kaede's hundred elite Uchiha—now even stronger than before—tore through Konoha's forces.

In an instant, the Konoha ninjas were utterly routed.

"Why? Why must we go through this?"

"First Hokage, Second Hokage, can't you protect us?"

"Damn Uchiha! Even if I die, I'll curse you to the end!"

"It's all because of Hiruzen and those bastards—they led Konoha to this!"

It was a one-sided massacre.

Floating above it all, Kaede watched with calm satisfaction.

This was the moment he had long prepared for.

Konoha was about to become history.
